Is this a console, is this THE console? Well, yes and no. Yoy have access to so much content through this gaming machine. But it's also a work machine. So, it takes the fun out. You also need to be sitting down and be glued to it. Also super expensive to get into it properly. Yes, a good console, and good library, not my first choice

Its a hit or miss as gaming system. The issue is not the actual "console" but the games. Most of them, like 99% are just adds. Not to mention the strange games that are being made right now are just click farms for data. So, as a "console" it works well, tapping and finger control is good, but the games quality is really bad

Steam Deck

If you could carry your steam library in your pocket. Then its just a portable computer. Thats the steam deck. A portable computer where you can play games like if they were on a switch. And the thing is, it sounds like a good idea. But think about it beyond the concept of convenient. It's hard to play a game where you have been using mouse and keyboard, and move that to a switch like platform.
Even the ones that are encouraged to play with a controller, there is so much set up, that it ends up being more work

Xbox Series X/S

Well, rumor is that this the last console that xbox is making. I do not blame them. But its also not really a bad thing. I like this console. Its sleek and pretty. Pretty powerful to handle a good amount of games. But the issue is that Microsoft is realizing that they dont need to worry about manufactiring, if they put a bit more into the games themselves. They make more money that way, because every 3 to 5 years you need to spend so much in R&R. So, make a small version of it and move on.

They say dreamers are the first ones to die. But that wasn't the case here. Streaming games was not a new thing before stadia, but it did sound cool, only problem, no way to make it effective for anyone. It turned into a bad joke. So much so, that it died soon after launch. RIP

Super Nintendo (SNES)

On a birthday morning, a little boy opened a box that his parents gave him. Not expecting much out of the box, the boy opened it rather carelessly. Before he realized what happened, the little boy witnessed and lived a million different lives and adventures. He stomped fire breathing turtles, he fought sword weilding pigs, he shot nazis, he slaughtered gods, he saved princesses and daughters, he played sports he never thought existed. All because of an initial console. This was that console. This started it all for me
