A collect a thon. But one that does it the right way. This game bursts with creativity and originality. I love it. Butsome levels do feel a bit forced. But its part of any game to have that feeling of "I've been here too long". Story is also really smart with having somewhat of a fourth wall breaking element to it. I really like it

26 hours later. This is one of the most fun games I've ever played.
The constant cameos, the different gameplay, the challenging levels.
This has got it all
No wonder it won GOTY .

I believe this is going to redefi e platformers in their fun element. We need more of these and mario wonder

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Zelda games are always different. And yet they are not. They all add a twist or a mechanic that helps it stand out above the other ones. (Except for twilight sword) most of the mechanics or twists are good.
This one is no different. In my opinion, its the best mechanic on the series. You can turn into a wolf. Which is fun to play. A bit repetitve, since you need to do some areas more than once, but it never detracts from the game. RIP To the best item in the entire series the spin top.

After the critical and emotional success that was Halo 3, you follow up with this and Im still not sure what this was. Im pretty sure it was a fever dream.I need to go back and finish it because the guns were different, the bad guy was weird, and cortana was glitching out.

A sequel to the first one. A different story tho. I liked the idea of being able to make a different character based on your actions. That does make a difference in this game. And its a good game for it. The combat feels a bit shallow and simple, which made me loose some interest at some point and I just avoided fights as much as I could.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
A good sequel, That doesn't happen often. Specially by AAA games.
So, it adds to the previous game, with some new types of attacks, new sabers, and new ideas within the game. I like how the game kept the concept of semi open worlds with making each planet explorable. Which makes the game fun to go back to after you finish the main story (which is really great).

Action, adventure, sacrifice pain and heroics.
What a game. And all without the chief.
Which is a great sign. They can make a good game not focused on the chief. Thus game explores the seminal tragedy before the events of Halo. And it gives insight into the spartan race.
Wish we could see more of this in games

Man, talk about a great buildup to a sad ending. I dont hate this game, I hate the fact that the ending happened. I come back every once in a while and play through some areas and the core gameplay is so fun and inventive. And the story is good, until it isn't. And unlike other games where the gameplay is fun but the story is meh, this one keeps buring that hole in your head of why?

So, after the game was taken by someone on the prize counter, someone else saw that I was working my way to get it. So, one day I opened my door and I had seen that somone on @channel3 had sent me a copy of the game. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was crying.
This game is smart. And not sudoku smart, its tactical smart. They finally saw the formula. The puzzles don't matter, what matters is the solution. How creative can the solution to a puzzle be? Thats what this game asks. Yes, you can kill a bad guy with an echo, but how many ways can you do it? How can you reach a seemingly unreachable place? BY BEDS!, or a trampoline. It asks the player how smart you can be

See, we judge videogames under different categories. I won't rate a game like mario for storytelling, but I will on mechanics. I won't rate a Last of Us part ii on innovation, but I will in story telliung. And I will admit. The story is hard. And thats a good thing. You need to be engaged with this story at all times. Things happen in such a way that get you to understand what character development is.

I'll be honest, when I saw that this was going to be the next in the COD lineup, I was disappointed. But thats when it hit me. This series doesn't care for good storytelling. They just want to make sure that they beat the market. Which makes sense, and so Modern Warfare was last year, so it would Black Ops time. At this point the COD series have become the Law and Order of videogames. There are dozen of series and each of them has millions of episodes, but only two are actually good

Was this the worst smash? Probably. Most of the game felt like a fever dream. The main system introduced a nemesis and a wager system, which was strange cause you couldn't do the main without getting coins which then you wagered.

This is a good step for sonic games. You make sonic cooperate with his friends in a way that works for the game's speed. The only issue is that you need to go over the same levels with the 4 different teams. THough yes, every team has unique interactions in the level, and even the levels play differently enough, some of the playthrough can get repetitive.

What a silent masterpiece. A non movie tie in for such a small title (at the time) Small quests within the levels, somewhat interesting fighting, but amazing voice acting. I talk more about this game on the @whatareyourthree episode. But its so fun

This is how you make basketball cool without mario. You throw reality out the window and make it crazy fun. Crazy jumps, moves, sets, but also real players with legacy players. So good, if you put enough time in the game, your character would get a nickname ingame, Overall, it made me feel like I could play basketball one day.

It's a movie plug in game, but it also has some unique quests that the movie has nothing to do with. It's a fun time, but the puzzles were sometimes too hard. Sad thing is that the rest of the game does not prepare you for the final fight, which is kind of boring

No. There is no excitement here. Only controlled joy. You can only go so fast without the bike literally stalling out and making you lose a race. Not to mention the fact that the jumps you make are ruined by said speed. This isn't excite bike. This is normal bike.

I found this game on gamepass, and I was bored. So I played 5 mins kf it, which then tur Ed to 5 hours then I ended up completing the game in a week. Such a fun experience and overall game. I cannot explain it more than just your typical RPG, but with a twist of absurdity. Play this one

story, better, now triple threat and there is a dead to avenge.

Probably my favorite sequel of a game. The stakes? Higher, the guns? Bigger, the trains? EVEN MORE TRAINS. The opening cutscene of this game alone is worth a movie on its own. Its a really good game that follows the spirit of the first one. The story is better and it has a natural pace to it. It doesn't feel like it jumps the shark unlike the last one.

Its a cute dating sim focused on trying to woo one of the girls of the literature club. You write poems, you make them laugh, they fall in love with you. Nothing more. Nothing more to write about this, because thats the game, you dont need to play it all the way through to see well thought out stories or anything. Ok, fine. No spoilers. THIS IS A GREAT GAME.

It's still a bit unpolished and rough around the edges, but the core mechanic of running is there and that is what matters. Solve puzzles, defeat monsters, learn combos! I thought this was going to be a zelda clone. I was wrong. I struggled to find myself out of the first level because of 1) How pretty everthign looked, its a good looking game 2) Its actually very hard game to play because there is a natural button lag that the devs put in to make you think of attacks. Its a very thought out game that requires a lot of time to process well.

The game follows the movie. But this. OH THIS. This changed the game for spiderman. Before this game spiderman would only swing from planet to planet. In a weird way of flying. But this game added the idea or ability to swing in a more realistic way. Building to building. And now the whole game feels open. And now you can explore every nook and cranny of the city. It's a great game for it. Without it, the current spiderman games wouldn't be possible

I wanted this game to be good. I wanted it to be the Black Flag of the next generation of the AC games. But it was not. It was the same slow paced game as odyssey. The story was bland and kind of boring. The gameplay didn't change much, but there was not much if anything new to the concept of the game. More of the same on AC? I will just read the story on wikipedia.

I mean, its a giant lego game with all of the previous games put into one hub. I would usually put ths under the cash grab section, except that they did add a bunch of new content to keep the quality good. The amount of characters that yuou need to unlock and the ships that need to be built, not to mention true jedi status. The whole game will take you years to complete.

A game that I found to be better than SM3W. It's such a good game of an open ish world where you need to get the cat stars, to defeat a toxic bowser with the help of bowser junior. This was my first interaction with the Guitar Hero series. And it was the game that popped my christian rock bubble to the amazing world of actual rock and roll. The current playlist may read "dad rocK" now a days, but back then it was the way to go about it if you understood the power of rock and roll. (Jack Black vibes). It also had a pretty good story of a band who ends up making a deal with the devil and need to break out of it. With the best rendition of the devil went down to georgia (in my opinion). Through the Fire and the Flames was also here and that also introduced me to light metal.

This is magic the gathering but for beginners, but also its more complicated than MTG in some ways. You are a character, and you draw cards that can be monsters or equipment or other stuff, its a great concept to understand these games where you need to do what the card says, so there is little to no time to explain the game before. P.S. You can also cheat, but its complicated and only one person does it (its me, I do it all the time) .

You need to be sneaky, and clever about how to advance your cause by also blocking your opponent. Is tht why its 5 stars? No, the best part is when you hit a little lever a the bottom and all the pieces come falling down.

Is this the best MK? No. Not by a long shot. but I would say it was the one that had the best ideas. At this point the story was so convoluted and so full of itself, the only way to fix it was to make it a strange RPG. Also, it included a Karts minigame, as well as (and this was my favorite bit) a character creator. Which was cool as heck.
Other good things is tha the fatalities were set to the wii motion controls, which were always fun to pull off

Its a great game. A goodsequel. I do like how the story changed by having one of the previous hosts become an agent and she becomes an integral part of it. The new modes are fun as well as the new guns. I hope that Nintendo doesn't focus too much on this IP and then makes it a third one too soon next to this one, because other projects need attention too right??

Jump and shoot man! You jump and you shoot. Weird lemon pellets, and you take care of bad guys. As you go through each level, you absorb the power of the level boss after you defeat them. Its a great game. Its a hard one. Mostly because of spikes that kill you the moment you touch them. Its hard, and that makes it more fun, because the difficulty level is also a satisfying one. You feel like every step is a challenging one to your skills, not one depending on how good you are at parrying.

This game was a LOTR version of Age of empires. Instead of individual units, you are creating units in batallions. Which is clever. Also building was changed to being automatic, instead of a unit dedicated to just building. The battles were pretty great. The best part was creating the heroes (and villains) for each civ and having their abilities change the course of a fight. Love it

Space wizards battle space clones and robots. Its star wars! An arena type game where you start off as either a "clanker" or a clone. Its a good game, its a great game. But it is a clone of Yoshi's tetris island. The gameplay is really hard but really good. You match your tiles, (tetris style), but match more than 4 and your opponent gets hit with a block that they now need to dissolve. And so the concept of battle is more present. you need to think ahead of both defense and offense. There is also a puzzle section that will wreck your brain

By travelling to different kingdoms , Sora defeats heartless creatures with his magic sword and magic. Similar combat to the new FF games.

*sigh*. It's like when your toddler tells you that they made potty after potty training. You ahve all of the anticipation in the world, you look and you see the mess they made. And you say to yourself "what happened?, you were in the right direction!? What failed? Well, its the same feeling.
Anthem was supposed to be a destiny-like game, but why!? When we could have seen a self contained story like titanfall 2 with cool sci fi things. The concept of the game is awesome, but the moment that you want to have fun, the game shoves its weird menus and loading screens and ruins the experience for you.

I actually really like this game. Its a fresh story on characters that we have already met. Overall the story does take its good twists and turns that keep you guessing and curious enough to finish it.
I like the dynamic between the two main characters, and I am glad that other characters make their due presence. Its a good next step for the uncharted series. Trying to outgrow nathan drake is not easy.

I am shocked by the fact that this game has not gotten more love as the years pass. This added manipulating time (to a certain extent) as a mechanism of the gameplay. That is huge. And it makes all the difference in the game. It lets you rethink puzzles more than once, you need to slow down and see all of the angles. It's not just a simple gimmick. I am surprised that it didn't take off more in other games, but only Tracer in overwatch. I find it inspiring. The combat system sucks tho

This was only the second R&C game I've ever played, the first being the 2015 movie spin off one.
And I freaking love it. Nice control of both characters, action packed, never TOO difficult to overcome, and it keeps you thinking of different ways to kill enemies with the different weapons it gives you.
I loved it.

How do you go from starships fighting wars in the stars, some sort of star wars to a zelda ripoff? I wouldn't say this game saved my marriage, but it came close. My wife had never played a video game before and this was the one she wanted to try, and man, does it deliver. Compelling story, amazing gameplay, and overall fun way to play. Not to mention the voice acting and the graphics.. Would play again

What a game! What a concept! This is what the avengers game should have been. A narrative story that takes you on a marvel wild ride. The way each character interacts, the way it's all from the main perspective. The music teamwork mechanic is the best thing. We need a sequel to this ASAP

As a pokemon game, it's yellow or eevee, and thats pretty basic. But as an intro to the series, it's the perfect game to get any young kid to play such a rich franchise. I would recommend this to any parent who wants their kid to dip their toes into gaming

This game is GOAT. Not only is LOTR my favorite... Thing of all time (srsly, ask me about it, I will talk for hours about this particular thing), but this game took the movie (which hadn't come out yet) and delivered a spoiler free experience, combat is fluid, and combo building is encouraged. It even added extra characters to make the gameplay longer. With branching styles and characters, it is one of the few LOTR games that have stood the test of time.

This game has a solid foundation of how to build upon a previous game. While the first BfME was something that was sensational, this took the concept and tried to expand on how it can be more immersive, with different modes, stories etc... but, maybe it was too much?
