I’m voting BG3 mostly based on my “BG3 deserves every award it’s eligible for” attitude. However, I had a hard time and almost picked TotK because LoZ games always have bangers. All that being said, while I love music, most of the time, while playing a game, it doesn’t stand out to me. Which is sort of the point I guess. Done well it should feel like part of the scene you’re experiencing. If it stands out too much, it takes away from everything else. Too little and the game feels lifeless. So with that in mind, I’m happy with my BG3 vote because playing through the game I felt the emotions I should feel during the times I should feel them, and a lot of that is due to a soundtrack that hits the right notes (pun *absolutely* intended) at the right time.

My voting mindset too lol. Is BG3 in this category? Yup, they should win.
