I'm heartbroken to share that we've lost one of our own.
@rosey978 passed away last Thursday 6/1. I am stunned. I really can't get my head around it.
Honestly in every single talk, every message, every interaction I ever had with Nathan he was so kind, supportive, and positive.
I wish I had the right words to say. I'm so bad at this.
Sure, gaming is entertainment, it's for fun. But unlike other forms of entertainment, it is collaborative and interactive. And thus, lifelong friendships and unbreakable bonds are made, and communities are formed.
Online friends are real friends. Gamer friends are real friends. Sometimes the most important friends of all.
Which makes this loss all the more devastating. But it also means we all have people who care about us and are here for support in the toughest times in our lives, like this moment. Let's all be here for each other. If you need someone to talk to, reach out.
Rosey was an absolute gem of a human being. Let's go out and do good in the real world and gaming worlds in his honor.
I'm heartbroken and need time, but more to come. We need to celebrate Rosey and memorialize him properly.
GGs forever.
