Playing through the pain
I've never played it, if I install it tonight from Steam, what do I have in store?

Confusion. Anxiety. FOMO for not buying the season pass.... tight gunplay

The constant grind to get max levels and best weapons... only for new levels and weapon nerfs to happen.

Think of it as closer to a “FPS MMO-lite”. Not quite as big as an MMO, but still MUCH more fun with a party rather than riding solo. There are some PvP modes, but honestly, they suck. You need to get the really good guns/gear to have a chance as well as upgrading your special abilities.

It’s a super fun game, but I lost interest because I was playing mainly solo and it got a bit repetitive. If you’re playing just the main story and stuff, I’d definitely recommend playing it then. It has a solid storyline for sure, but all of the end game stuff is a grriinndddd

I loved destiny 1…. Mostly pvp with some weekly nightfalls and side quests

Nightfalls and raids were an absolute blast. PvP was ok, but it sucked so much when people were using the meta weapons and you didn’t have them. They did better with balancing PvP, but it’s not their bread and butter
