Inside
I wanted to get a review done for this one before I got too far away from completing it.

This game is gold from the get-go. Easy controls that only take a few seconds to figure out and then you're lost in this extremely simple yet immersive game. Playing with the volume up and at night to really get lost in the darkness is a huge plus, but not necessary to really get into the vibe. The artwork mostly shades of grey and black with small bits of color thrown in to great effect. The music is sparse, but the sound effects are disturbingly realistic. Playing this kind of game with the main character being an obvious child really makes the inevitable failures that much more heart wrenching.

The story unfolds slowly with no voice acting and no text to read, the only clues are the things that you're doing and what you're trying to avoid in the background. The scale of the background action compared to the tasks you're completing in the foreground is hard to miss, so you won't have trouble keeping up with what's happening, though I'm sure you'll make assumptions (like I did) that will end up being completely wrong (like mine were).

I only say that because the ending comes completely out of nowhere, if you can guess how it ends from a point even 75% through the game then you've cheated somehow.

Playdead Studios hid a very well done Puzzle/Platformer in a Suspense Filled mini-Novella.

Highly recommended.
