Instantly adjust the bench mark settings and turn off the fluff to help my computer especially with streaming, and always subtitles get turned on and usually turned to the color purple.

I always adjust the darkness to lighter,, so if the game says "the one on the left should be barely visible or disappear" YEAH not doing that, usually when games go for some darkness stuff I cant see ...more

100% depends on the type of game: for FPS style games, I will adjust the crap out of the settings, whereas narrative and story based games I will leave alone.

I didn’t know video games has these settings. But I feel with modern games, you absolutely have to tweak video settings. Especially those playing on PC and various graphic cards

I'll follow the in game tutorial if there is one, and give a little test run to the default settings, but 99% of the time I go in and tweak at least a couple things to my own weird preferences.
