Do you adjust the video settings as soon as you start a new game?

A simple yes or no quest.

Always. PC has the power to enhance my gaming detail and Im going to use it.

I adjust the settings on everything as soon as I pick it up. Customize everything!

100% depends on the type of game: for FPS style games, I will adjust the crap out of the settings, whereas narrative and story based games I will leave alone.

Most games recently have been pretty good about defaulting to what's best. But I still go in to look.

Is this for real with the day mode again 🤣🤣

Also, AUDIO settings, why do they make every game explode at least one ear drum on initial launch??

I don't touch video settings much. I may turn up the brightness a smidge, but that's it.

I feel like most games flat out force you to do it anyway.

Yes once I’ve gotten into the game then I’ll play with FPS and some of the other fine tune settings.

Gotta not burn my eyes out and do keybinds~

I didn’t know video games has these settings. But I feel with modern games, you absolutely have to tweak video settings. Especially those playing on PC and various graphic cards

Yes absolutely. First I actually adjust audio, I turn music down a little and adjust for my old ears. Then I check graphics settings to make sure fov, fps, and resolution are appropriate, and then tweak everything else until Im happy.

I mess with it with the tutorial and then adjust again if it’s still too much.

If the game lets me I mess with audio and video especially the music because some game have that stuff way to loud😂

I'll follow the in game tutorial if there is one, and give a little test run to the default settings, but 99% of the time I go in and tweak at least a couple things to my own weird preferences.

If it's a horror/scary game the brightness goes all the way up, Otherwise I leave it alone.

Gotta maximize the chance of going blind. Max out all of the settings!!!

😂 these choices. I pretty much never tinker with video settings on consoles but I do with maybe a quarter of the PC games I play.

You bet. Gotta maximize that sweet sweet HDR. I still don't know what ray tracing is, but if reddit is any guide I NEED it.
Day mode

No, but you can bet I'm getting that vertical adjusted to inverted
Night mode

If it allows me to from the beginning you bet. I want to see what the heck is happening on screen.

With my busted ass computer, yes, crank the settings all the way back to the year 2000.

Loving this practical joke! 😂
GGs admins!

As for the question, usually I just adjust the brightness.
