I know it's because I'm still playing but I have been thinking about that fight with Bahamut. It was so epic, and yes it was a long fight but I couldn't help feel like I was apart of something epic. T...more
First time meeting a super mutant. Towering green maniac that carried a stop sign club in one hand, and the corner of a building in the other (rebar wrapped in concrete chunks). Mommy!
Final songi fight in Seru Kai. Man he got ugly. Man he got hard. Yeah
Ganon. I was 14 when I beat it for the first time. At the time it was the greatest ending fight to a game I had ever played.
This post contains a spoiler.
My brother recently reminded me of how awful this guy was to play against. I probably taught him some cuss words back in the day.
Malenia is just so iconic. Even though I struggled more against the final boss in the game, Malenia's design, how the fight plays out, and even the journey through the haligtree to get there, is thoro...more
Alatreon was added in the 4th title update for Iceborne and it was brutal. The fight had a dps wall and required players to use elemental weapons for the fight during a time where the meta was blast. ...more

Just thinking about it still gives me chills.
That first wave of attacks he throws... Insanity!
Thunderbird, the penultimate boss, is still hard for me these days. after an extremely hard dungeon, in the old school days where there's no save point before the boss, beating him was a cause for cel...more
Fighting Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts definitely. I had just turned 18 at the time and I hadn't seen FFVII yet. So I was like, whoa this guy is a babe 🤣
It's been this way for a long time and I don't know why.
The fight with just Micaiah taking on the Black Knight. The fog. She was alone. It took me like 47 tries and made me wonder if I needed to start over to strengthen her for that battle. It was amazing ...more
It was the first game that caused rage fighting the final boss.
Too many failed attempts as a 6 year old.
loved just fighting calamity ganon 6 times?
I love tossing Bowser by his tail. It's also easy to recreate with my Mario toys
The final boss on the hardest difficulty co-op/split screen with a buddie of mine. OMG the number of times we wiped to finish this.
Every boss in this game was memorable.
The giant Goran boss in Majora's mask was also completely unforgettable.
There was just something about Bowser stomping aroung in 3D and spinning him around by the tail with that soundtrack raging. Close runner up is definitely the one that started it all (SMB).
The end fight with ganon was probably one of the most exciting things I did pre 9/11.
Beating world 8-4 Bowser was and is my greatest gaming achievement. It is the first game I ever beat. I went into 8-4 with 99 lives and beat it on my last one. No gaming victory will ever overtake tha...more
Ganondorf fight. Spent so much time getting to him, it was so sweet finally taking him down.
Definitely the dinosaur thing that sinks into the lava and then attacks you again as a skeleton before dying.
After clearing Kanto you can find Red and battle him. Pretty epic conclusion to everything. Still wish they would revisit the way they set up the endgame for this generation.
The titular Metroid Prime of "Metroid Prime."
It/She laid the beat-down on me dozens of time; it was equally as thrilling as it was difficult. From gameplay to visuals, character-design to level-des...more
As a kid I saw him on tv and heard grown ups talk about him with such admiration and fear. He is a literal Real Life End Boss.
Only legitimately beaten him 2 times…
Elite Four/Rival battles. The peak of your very first Pokemon journey. Little 7th grade me was shaking with adrenaline when I finally won.
Ruby Weapon. Still one of the hardest bosses ever, but the first time I encountered it I had no idea what I was doing, hadn't saved in awhile and was very, very sad. My arch-nemesis ever since.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance needs to be added to this. And it’s always nice to see Sundowner get what he deserves.
Spoiler alert
Jecht/Sin
I was still relatively new to RPGs and didn't do much grinding. I probably tried 30+ times before finally beating him.
Aquamentus (the level 1 boss)
I chose this due to how easy it has always been. One of the easiest Zelda bosses and easiest boss in gaming. I love seeing him pop up.
Cleopatra. I mean what the hell. Freaky stuff. Don’t really want to go to detail on this respectful site. Just YouTube it. The whole game is crazy.
The last level in the carnival where you're at the rock concert!
My friends and I were playing through this game on expert and I remember trying to go at it over and over so many times until his pare...more
Iron Mike Tyson! Don't think I ever beat this as a kid. This always stuck out to me as the hardest boss in a video game. One punch and your down. The nerves/pressure were high whenever you spent a lon...more
The final boss fight, Bowser! It took me forever to figure what the hell to do all I did for hours was run around and avoid spike balls hoping to wear him out and something to happen. It was using the...more
This guy right here. In Descent 2, you're used to using your arsenal to obliterate the enemies through sheer force. For this guy, who could not only teleport and go invisible, he was invulnerable exce...more
The Lord of Cinder, Gwyn. I never really parried in the game much, until I met this boss. I became a pro by the end of it.
I remember after defeating Cronos in God of War 3, I put the controller down and just sat on my couch for a few minutes. I couldn't believe how amazing this battle was. I turned the game off and went ...more
If you know, you know…the most absolute Ridiculous boss. As a 10 year old, this was just impossible. I did finally beat it a couple years ago
Bowser from Super Mario 64. This was the first game I got 100% on and Bowser was the boss in my favorite games growing up. Nothing will ever beat having to spin him around.
