Never been a huge fan of this genre but I can dig this game.
The greatest RPG ever made!
One of the greatest Star Wars stories ever told and one of the greatest plot twists in gaming history!
This is such a great game, and improved on the first one. Tthe stories are more mature/adult, the boss battles are tougher (in my opinion) and some how, despite being the same graphic style and game e...more
Super cute animations with a Halloween theme? Easily a favorite for me!
Simply because of the world/lore they've developed around it.
Best game and I'm a big fan of the DMW. How they use it in the ending is epic 💔
Fantastic game start to finish. Had me laughing sick.
Hard choice but as I've mentioned before, this is a special one for me.
It's not even close
Close runner-up would be @sea-of-stars .
The first one I ever played.
The pixel remaster is great, but don't overlook the remasters on GBA and PS1. They did a great job on those.
I could, unfortunately, count on one hand the number of RPGs I've played. The Pokemon Gen 1 remake likely won't land on many people's lists but I had a lot of fun with this game. @darthsmeagol and I c...more
The OG, honorable mention to old final fantasy and Chrono trigger, but they're sort of turn based, sort of not.
This is my #1 game of all time. I wish Sony didn't run the creator off and actually made his sequal.
So I don't really play a lot of these, as it's not my favorite genre. However this was one of the first ones I played and remembered enjoying a lot! Give it a try if you haven't! I think it's on switc...more
I never got into too many RPGs, but this one was pretty fun
The fact that it wasn't just a bunch of menus, the original story, the combo capabilities, and the summons make this a classic for me.
Next question please. This was too easy.
HM: FFT, FE3H, Marvel's midnight suns
if ATB counts (that's a bit different IMO): CT, FF4, FF6, FF5
I am sure this will get a good amount of votes.
Hands down my favorite.
The second would be South Park: Fractured but Whole
I'll go with the one I played for more than 30 minutes.
We had a sign up sheet for this game to play in shifts in our dorm. Definitely the coolest kids on campus.
By and far this.
Feel free to come at me with torches and pitchforks but the Pokemon series basically the only thing I've played that comes somewhat near the genre depending on how generous you are with the definition...more
So many could be right here
I’m sure this will come as a shock to everyone, but I’m a big fan of Baldur’s Gate 3.
I'll say Edge of the Empire. The only way I enjoy turn-based rpg is as tabletop. When it comes to video games I find them boring.
🐐
Eternal Sonata is in such a beautiful world and has a good story
