ALL RIGHT. I'm answering this differently lmao. Favorite gift I've ever gotten...TO GIVE SOMEONE ELSE. It was my first year in college and I was rolling in dat financial aid for the first time ever. Christmas rolls around, so naturally I bought gifts for everyone. But I bought my brother an Xbox 360, which he'd been asking for one for a very long time. HOWEVER, I didn't just give it to him ๐ I had an old box from a sound system that PERFECTLY fit the Xbox 360.
Oh dude, when he picked up that wrapped present, he was so excited. And then, the look of sheer disappointment on his face when he thought it was a SOUND SYSTEM. Oh, he was near tears. It was glorious (I'm the eldest, can you tell). "You don't like it?" "No, I like it..." And he sadly put it aside without even opening it. So I pushed him to open it and he burst into happy tears. I wonder if he still remembers this

Anywho, what I didn't know at the time is that I started a gift giving feud that has yet to end. Every year, we try to one-up each other for most annoyingly wrapped gift. ๐๐
