Wreck-it Ralph! I embarrassingly didn't know that Fix-it Felix Jr. was a real game. I loved Wreck-it Ralph probably more than my kids even did. The nostalgia and the arcade theme of this movie made this a win for me.
I think it’s officially safe to choose next years The Super Mario Bros. Movie. I feel like they picked the best voice actors already and a good studio to make it. One thing; Illumination much think Mario skips leg day. How else does he jump like that? Give Mario his booty back.
Detective Pikachu has to be one of the coolest renditions of animation going CGI. All of the Pokemon are beautifully done, story is fun to follow and doesn't take itself too seriously throughout.
Man this is a tough one cause... they're kind of all bad lol. I'm just gonna say Mortal Kombat Annihilation since I was too young to realize how bad it was at the time and thought it was the greatest thing ever
Mortal Kombat. I think they did a really good job with this new one. Yes, its a little different from the games with the addition of Cole but it worked.
No...not that Paul WS Anderson trash fire that was Monster "Milla" Hunter. They made a CGI animated Monster Hunter Legends of the Guild on Netflix. It actually honors the franchise. Yeah it's a little kiddie but they did a decent job respecting the source material.
1995's Mortal Kombat. The movie stayed true to the video game and the action sequences were on par. It definitely had it's cheesy moments, but overall a great action movie.
So I never played the hitman series, but I felt like this game nails the character a mysterious assassin raised in a organization. The storyline is great and actions scenes are awesome
Haven't rewatched it as an adult but i loved this movie as a kid. It probably won't hold up now so I won't be rewatching to keep its memory intact 😅. The ones after were definitely a step down. Haven't seen the newest one though.
The Rock and Karl Urban in a testosterone filled action movie, full of giant guns, mutations, and what I thought was a pretty creative first-person shooter sequence. I don't care what the ratings said, this movie was badass.
I've never played the game but Pokémon Detective Pikachu really felt like one of the first times that a movie executive let a full blown video game go HAM. No more 80s execs thinking games were for nerds and making stupid changes.
Tomb Raider (2013), movie in 2018. Alicia Vikander played that role amazingly, the script followed the game nicely, while adding a bit to it. If y'all haven't seen it, y'all need to.
