in my defense I am 50/50, switch is controller (even tho there is a way to KBM, watch out Splatoon), but everything else is KBM and I am glad I made the switch
I can play non-shooters either way as I grew up with a controller. On shooters though, if I'm using a controller I might as well hold it with my elbows. I'd do just as well.
Controller by default. Most PC games I’ll still play with KBM but I’m trying to get in the habit of using controllers for those too. I do prefer KBM for the few FPS games I play
Controller ONLY. Have never got into ANY game with keyboard/mouse except for a fun little game I like to call "how many emails can Joel reply to in an hour"
There are games like Rocket League and Binding of Isaac that are more comfortable on controller, but I find myself leaning more and more toward KBM with every new game I pick up.
I used to play racing games & an NHL game with KB&M .. when I was like 7. I'm so wired to use a controller now that going KB&M seems super foreign to me and not something I'd want to spend time learning when I'm decent enough on the sticks.
Depends 100% on the game: everything I play on my computer is always KB&M except for Overcooked - that's one game I just have to play with a controller.
This just may be the easiest question C3 has ever posted!
I've been using a controller since the NES; and that's what I'll use until I die! I understand the appeal of the mouse for aiming, but controlling movement on a keyboard just doesn't make sense to me!
I only use controller for Rocket League and Binding of Isaac. Modern Aim Assist has tempted me to go to controller for FPS games, but KBM is just more fun to me. I just try to avoid close combat because AA is OP close range.
For most games I use KBM. But really it depends on the game. Some games, such as Diablo 3, I found are better on a controller. Whereas most MMORPGs like WoW, are better with KBM.
It depends on the game. FPS games are better with M/C over a controller, even with the aim assist you get. Action/Adventure games are better on a controller. Most games are more comfortable on a controller so thats the only reason I will pick it.
Grew up on controller so I know no different. I’ll even use a controller if I have to use a computer. I like to think of it as it take more skill to play FPS with my thumbs rather than my whole arm. At least that’s what I tell myself.
It depends on the game. This is like asking hammer or screwdriver, which is better? If you have a nail (need to aim and click) a keyboard and mouse. If you have a screw (platformer) a controller is better.
I mean some games have more advantages on keyboard but controller is usually better to play with then keyboard and mouse so controller is what I would pick since I think it works better for more games then keyboard and mouse does
