Thanks to everyone who participated in last week's quest, we've got 10 JRPG tropes already picked out for our eventual bingo card. Let's get some more! Please review the following list and don't submit one of these again. If we can get closer to 20, I'll create an actual bingo sheet for you to use when playing an RPG, and give out bonus XP for getting a bingo.
Here's what we have already:
"Curse Your Sudden But Inevitable Betrayal" (a close friend/ally/teammate turns against you)
"Surprise Princess" (a person doesn't know or doesn't tell you they're royalty)
"The Power of Love" (when all hope seems lost, somehow love/friendship powers you up)
"I'm the Baaaaaaaaad Guy" (Villain's music is WAY cooler than yours. BYO copyrighted music.)
"Hometown Heartbreak" (The game requires you to leave, then return to your hometown, but it's destroyed in the meantime)
"How do you dye the roots?" (Main hero is humanoid and has blue, green, pink, or purple hair.)
