The LAN's throughout high school, the revolutionary matchmaking and playlists, custom game lobbies, jackal snipers on legendary... CE and 3 were also part of this golden era, but the maps and Battle Rifle in 2 will always be on top for me.
Halo 3 is where the relationship between Chief and Cortana goes to the next level. It’s touching and emotional and the gameplay is the tightest in the series. Halo 4 isn’t even available to select tho?
This was truly something special. Even in the Master Chief Collection 15 years later, the multiplayer lobbies are jam packed. Playing the campaigns for the first time was incredible, and finishing the fight in Halo 3 left me with a sense of completion. Definitely my favorite FPS game of all time.
Iconic. Made me wish I had an Xbox. Best game for running a cord across the house and having a LAN battle with some friends. Lots of pizza bagels and fights about screen watching. Later owned it on PC and loved the single and multiplayer.
This is by far the game I have spent the most hours in, of any game. LAN parties in high school. Playing the campaign. Nothing compared. Even though I spent a lot of time in MW3, it doesn't touch this masterpiece.
No question. GOAT. SO many memories with this game. Including trying to log in to play at 12:30am the night of launch... just trying to get ONE game before I went to sleep since I had school the next day and part of the agreement with my Mom for getting it at midnight was getting up for school. >.
Been awhile since I've played any of these (except Infinite), but Reach was at the very least high up on my list..... I need to replay this whole series 😄
