“Destruction Deck” is the correct term, right?

I do base decks on strategies, but more often than not I also try to thematically suit a Marvel reference. This is my “King In Black” deck. (I’m likely gonna tweak cuz they ruined Beast)

By the way: the actual “King In Black” story rules, as does the Venom series that builds up to it. Cannot recommend it enough!

I love that thanos variant

Thank you! I honestly forgot it was a variant. haha But I dig it too!

I’ve always been on the edge of getting into reading comics, but honestly feel overwhelmed at how to step in with all of the stuff out there. King in Black made me really want to look into where to start to read that. It sounded awesome.

I'd be happy to toss out some recommendations, when it comes to titles!

I also have plenty of advice about how to jump into comics!
I think it's always important to start by asking: Do you have a particular objective when it comes to reading 'em?
By which I mean, are you looking to:
A. Follow a particular character / team?
B. Immerse yourself in the universe, and learn all the corners of it?
C. Build up to a particular event? (Like King In Black)
D. Read the best individual stories that a universe/multiverse has to offer?
E. Dip your toe into Marvel or DC (or another universe) and see which you like best?

There are NO wrong answers here! Think of it almost like different "builds" for what kinda nerd ya wanna be haha. Knowing what end result you want helps determine the best place to start. Also saying "I dont know yet" is a totally valid answer.
