Elden Ring is hard but very much worth it. I think about diving into previous “souls” games since I hear they are harder (biggest thing being no jump).

Overwatch 2 is hard but I still think everyone should try. It’s hard because of the learning curve. After that it gets more fun and easier to adapt.

Rouglike games are by far the hardest I have played. Only one I “beat” was Cult of the Lamb and I had it on the easiest difficulty. I want to keep trying more rougelike games because it’s such a fun grind.

Remnant 2 because I still have one clue where the story is going but it’s still fun.

I have played a lot of older games that were harder but I think some of the difficulty in my head were mechanics at the time. I think games nowadays that are hard would be impossible back in the day.

So I got the Souls bug too and here's my personal experience.

Sekiro: great story, challenging gameplay with interesting stagger mechanics. Stopped after about 10 hours.

Dark Souls 1: dated and aged, wouldn't spent full price on but worth it for the historical review.

Dark Souls 3: definitely aged better out of the three Dark games. Still playing, stuck on a tough boss.

Bloodborne: tried it, didn't like it. May try again.
