Most capable yet most difficult to keep up with.

PlayStation 2
This system rekindled my gaming obsession. I went from the Genesis to this. So many great games and the graphics were amazing for the time.

GameCube
God I loved this system. Outside of the Switch this might be the best.

Sega Genesis
I had the Genesis and not Super Nintendo back in the day. Loved the system and games. I think the D-pad was great, especially for Mortal Kombat moves.

Nintendo (NES)
This is what started it all for me. Some great games and good times. Rarely did I beat a game on it though.... The OG!

Game Boy
I still have the Tetris music in my head. I still have the system even though the screen is a little worse for wear. Groundbreaking stuff back in the day!

Xbox 360
Best XBox. When I had friends to play games with this was amazing and a great environment. Never had a red ring....

Nintendo DS
Another 5 star system from Nintendo. Great form factor and amazing games. Backwards compatibility was key also.

PlayStation Vita
Ahead of its time and not properly supported. I liked it for what it was but there is a reason it is in the past.

Nintendo Switch
This is THE system. It is now my primary/only system. Perfect mix of on the go and in place. Perfect dad system as well.
Only quibbles are better battery life and MOAR POWER!
