Enjoy.

Arcade layouts have changed, but they'll always be a great time. I have life long memories beating the Simpsons with 3 friends, playing Dance Dance Revolution when the crowds gathered, and battling it out in Marvel vs Capcom.
Strange controller aside, the N64 sweet the stage for the next level of gaming. Super Mario 64 graphics were unheard of. We also all learned to play 4 players on one TV. Banjo Kazooie, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, the games that came from this system are all time hits.
I bought my first gaming PC last year just to be able to stream Switch games. It's a low budget PC with still only 60 fps, but I finally understand the hype. There's something really enjoyable about sitting right in front of your own personal screen and playing almost any game you want. I've also upgraded it twice, something I never thought I'd be doing. Outside of Nintendo systems, I don't see myself buying a console again.
This system came out of left field I think for everyone. The Wii mote could've definitely become a gimmick, but Nintendo did a great job making games that made the Wii mote useful. Wii sports alone made the Wii experience great. Two games I remember fondly are DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi and Red Steel. The introduction of the Mii, and the ability to play GameCube games and still use the GC controller all make this a 5 star system. PUT ON THE WRIST STRAP!
I was blown away the first time I used the Oculus Quest. It is insane how detailed and precise the movements are with this system. Beat Saber and Suoer Hot are my two favorite games of the system.
It's 2004, you're in 7th grade, and until this point mobile gaming with friends included a link cable. Now, all of a sudden, you can play the new Supe Mario 64 mode with your friends who are in a separate room from you. Eventually, you'll also play Mario Kart DS. TGR Nintendo DS can now almost be seen as a precursor to the switch. Large titles in a mobile device.
I am not a sales numbers person. This is Nintendo's best system ever. It is an absolute genius development to be able to play full on games on a mobile device. The switch is versatile, offers a multitude of exciting games, and is a must have for any parents who want to introduce games to their kids.
As a loyal Nintendo customer, it is difficult to say this, but the Xbox 360 may be my favorite console. Call of Duty, Halo, and Gears of War were some of my favorite series to play. The 360 controller is still the controller I found most comfortable. It was sturdy and felt like you could really put it to work. The later Kinect that was released was a great early version of augmented reality games.
I think my opinion on NES is similar to others' opinions of the N64. It was innovative and made big changes, but I don't think most of the games hold up really well at all. The SNES improved everything and completely holds up today.
