Luigi's Mansion 3
This was the game that I wanted a Switch for!
Luigi is my favorite character in the Mario-verse and I did enjoy the original LM game though it could have had a lot more playability for players. This game came through in a lot of that for me.
It's nice seeing some familiar characters in other ways in the game, and the power of the vacuum is better. There are more puzzles when finding ghosts, coins, and other things.
I'd LOVE to see a sequel to this game OR just more games as Luigi as the main protagonist.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
My whole family ... 2 kids, wife and myself (even 2 foster kids) will play for hours. Sitting in the living room and flying our Dodo planes to each other's islands. We trade furniture and fruit and vegetables. We gift bells to each other to help the building process ...
Seriously, if you don't like family time, problem solving, economics, and other skills for life than stay away from this game. it'll teach your kids things and then they'll start thinking for themselves and be productive members of society.

Animal Crossing
My Wife and I hadn't been together that long when we bought a GC and she convinced me to buy Animal Crossing. BAD IDEA! She would race home from work not to see me, but to play that damn game. She would trick me into watching for hours while she talked to animal people, built things, made bells, and all sorts of things. Saying she loved the game is an understatement. Thankfully (?) she got a promotion at work and Animal Crossing took a back seat.
And then ACNH came out and .... well that's a different review.

Target
I am really not good at this game but damn do I love getting on every day and playing!
The image pic is always challenging but leaves enough detail that even someone novice at a game can work through and make a well estimated guess.
IF I have a nitpick it is only that my old eyes have to lean in and work hard to see the map (this is in regards to mobile play). But that critique is more about me than the game.

The Jackbox Party Pack 7
Worst part of this game is the need for so many people to really have fun. One other down side is that there is also a limit on players.
BUT … this can really get us laughing and rolling. Great for our friends group when we wanted a relaxed way to hang out and game. We even mix in our teenagers for some really odd fun 😂

PAW Patrol: On a Roll
My twin boys LOVE this game and their older siblings will play along and help them make driving. It’s a simple game for kids but does a great job teaching gaming skills and building on fun with characters they know.

Paper Mario
I can’t get enough of this flat dude and the way he slides into spaces. The fights are fun in the turn taking style while still creating challenge. I’ll keep playing these games as new iterations arise.

Lemmings
I almost forgot about this game. My wife and I used to spend hours and hours playing and swapping turns.
Nothing fancy but solid fun.
