BOOM. You're done. iPhones try to act like it's "just a website bookmark" because they want everyone to go through the App Store but really it functions just like an app... Full screen, moveable icon on your home screen. All of it.
Enjoy.
Install the Channel 3 app from the Google Play Store.
Also DiRT & GRID (which currently aren't in the library) which I would put before Madden; As for Madden, just pick one. They were all pretty solid until about 2019.
I lacked variety so badly on 360. Honestly after MW2, GTAV, and UFC .. I don't remember playing much else & had to search to remember what all was even on this system (so I didn't accidentally put an Xbox One game instead).
Top 10 Xbox 360 Games
Rank your top 10 games (and only 10!) for the Xbox 360.
admittedly I have played a lot less Kart & a lot more other things so I'm moving in a positive direction. I guess. Once the Batman games drop on Switch though, all my attention is moving there. Hogwarts being something for the kids & my wife, feel like she'd enjoy all that that game is about.
Backlog (want to play)
Air your dirty laundry here. What has gone into your backlog??
Never played TotK but have a friend who messages me often about it so I feel like I know a decent amount to say this game.
On the flip side, GTA would let Earth dance around on it's naughty side a bit.
From podcasts and conversation, I think Animal Crossing would dabble in the positive side of things.
I have to include Kart in there, know why? The grass is always green, trees always green, environment always holds up no matter what. What fuels those karts anyway? I mean they never run out of .. whatever powers them! Plus, we literally just had a World Tour event racing in cities around the world .. without even boarding a plane.
Fall Guys is just fun. It raises the issue of "if you don't take care of the tasks at hand, slime can get you. Rhinos are super mad, almost heat seeking missiles. The environment fights back!
Last but not least, F1 has set a target of being Net Zero Carbon by 2030. Sounds like a positive move for the environment if you ask me, & feel like that's something Earth would get on board with!
Green Games
If planet Earth played video games, which would be its favorites? These are the games that celebrate our planet, by showing the beauty of nature, raising awareness for climate issue, encouraging sustainability, etc.
There's probably more. Everything Mario + Lego (minus MK64) was done w/the kids. CoD was a stretch in college + early days of being in the Army & playing with friends back home to "hang out" .. and everything else was childhood hahah
Completed
You did it. You beat the final boss. These are the games you have finished.
I feel like there might be more but .. this is a good start 😂
Channel 3 Made Me Do It
Separate from games that Cr3w recommended, these are games that you only tried for the first time and/or continued to play thereafter because of C3 activities. Not "I tried it before and tried again now," but truly tried for the first time.
1-3 are my favorite Mario games (right now). Got a lot of playing during quarantine for 4 & 5. Nostalgia 6. Underrated game 7. 8 often imitated, never duplicated. Love 9 & 10.
Would love each person who appears on the podcast to complete this list AFTER their episode airs, listing the 3 games mentioned (plus honorable mentions) in order. Will be fun to see the most listed games! (AGAIN: Do NOT fill out this list unless you've been on the What are your 3? podcast)
List the games that you missed out on during their first pass that you hope to get a shot at someday. Maybe an upgrade, remaster, re-release, retro - whatever. You didn't get to play it but you hope to someday.
I played Modern Warfare 2 so much, the disc broke. Among Us costs $5 on Switch. The rest are games that my kids wanted to play at the same time (rather than share) on their Switch & there happened to be a sale.
Multiple Purchases
What games have you bought multiple times? Whether across system generations, upgraded versions, broken copies, digital and physical, multiple family members, whatever. List them! Inspired by @connerf
The only one that I'll comment on is Smash. I'm no good & it's not my style of game. I'd love to be as good as TDG players & the fights they have, but it's definitely a game I'll spectate rather than play. Feel like I'm too late in trying to get into it now & there's so much going on with it.
Abandoned
Not currently playing, and don't plan to come back to it... You stopped playing it because it was too hard, not enjoyable, too long, life happened…
I rarely buy games that I end up not liking & these are ones that I just .. did not like. Smash I should probably give more attempts to so that I could learn the ins & outs of it but .. definitely not high on my priority list as fighting games have never been my thing.
Hated
Your LEAST favorite games of all time. In your opinion, these are the worst games ever made.
A little different from your Favorites, these are the games you'd tell a friend to check out. Maybe they're underrated, maybe they're cult classics, but these are the ones you're always mentioning to people.
First, while Fall Guys didn't come out in 2022, it did come out in 2022 on the Switch .. so it's completely new to me as I had no other way of playing it prior to its release.
Of course Mario Kart is going to make the list, & as everyone is saying it's bc of the booster courses. 16 new tracks!
