Absolutely nothing compared to the sweatiness of halo and COD from 2005 - 2013. Of course 007 makes the cut. Destiny was one of the first FPS/MMOs and it was absolutely stunning.

RPG fan at heart. FF7, 8, Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, etc… are all phenomenal games in their own right.

But the competitive side of me craves games like Halo and COD. Honorable mentions could be a list of 20 games in itself.

Pokémon has always stuck with me and it especially means more now that my daughter is a huge fan and plays the games as well

FF7 Takes the top spot simply because of the amount of prequels/sequels/spin-offs they’ve made that are very well done and add to the larger story.

Also, don’t sleep on the Star Ocean games. Honorable mention to Legend of Dragoon and Xenoblade

Spider-man 2 is officially done. I loved every bit of it.

However, FFXVI just edged it out in terms of overall story. The more mature story-line of FFXVI just appealed to me a bit more. Although I don't think FFXVI will win game of the year, it absolutely deserves best music and best performance.

Paw patrol because it is just so simple. The instructions are verbal so minimal reading required and lets the kids get familiar to the controller. Mario kart with auto acceleration/steering makes it so much fun to play with the kids

Elden ring and all the dark souls games. If I wanted a difficult game with no story, I’d go play Rocket League against SSL players.

Alright… I’m being optimistic. This game hasn’t come out yet, but MW2019 was the best COD game in the last 10 years. If this game is the same thing, then it’ll be the GOAT of 2022.

I know Fall Guys didn’t come out, but it did for F2P and it’s been the best “party up” game

FF7 has been the greatest RPG franchise ever made. No debate… MW2 was the greatest COD ever made. Halo 3 was the sweatiest I’ve ever been in video games.

These 2… I started playing them. I did enjoy the story, but multiplayer games have been my primary focus. Rocket League, Fall Guys, Halo, and Fortnite. Then with MW2 coming out, I’ll never get to these games and their sequels
