“The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.” - George Carlin
Your favorite subpar 90s cranking, splat splooshin’, blue shell aficionado! Memer by weekday and streamer by weekend; trying to keep you as minimally entertained as possible!
Tested this out on stream tonight, I enjoy the F2P aspect and the story mode is fun so far. Each character has their own unique skills/weapons along with a personality and backstory. The anime style and character design is really good while being a fun shooter. -1 star for longer cutscene/dialogue but it is setting the world in the first Chapter. If this isnt already appealing for you to download then note anime jiggle physics are a solid selling point in this game lol
4 stars because this game was released right before my 2nd deployment and the guy across the connecting shipping container from brought this and his PS3 we would spend hours just messing around on it when we were in our off time
Love the concept of the game, when I had it on PS3 it was during a dark period in gaming for me so didnt dedicate too much time to gaming as I wanted. I know the "open world" was headed in the right direction but wasnt quite there. Will have to try this again
Have you ever wanted to rule as a king, president, or tyrant? Well now is your chance! The game is exciting at time and can enjoy the sim city vibes. At times it can get repetitive even across different campaigns. Overall a great way to pass the time and rule with an iron fist
Updating review: +1 star to 4, why you ask? Well if you haven’t tried DMZ give it a shot. I am enjoying doing 1 mission per extraction and taking out AIs. I have gone down to a few squads but soloing has been a good break. Almost feels like a pick your own adventure video game!
Are you a Counter Strike fan? Do you like World War II? Well the search is over my friend this game is for you! A blast to play solo q or with friends.
maybe its nostalgia, but coming back to this series for the first time since Halo 2 I am enjoying the online. Now I never turn my nose up at trying a FTP title, so I haven't touched the campaign. Overall, every match I have played win or lose I am have fun. I would compete in more tournaments on Channel3 when they come up.
ABD “Always Be Dunkin” I used to play LoL years ago and I was terrible at MOBAs but this one I can get behind. Yes some Pokémon are OP but solo queue or with friends I have fun!
Here is where I will stand, I got this game when it first came to steam in alpha/early access. The game to me was just unplayable. The only saving grace was the sandbox area so you could see how the soft physics worked and crash your car over and over. I am all for using a community to help build a game, but it took so long to even see what the intention was for the developer. I last played in 2016. So I will redownload and come back to see what has changed in 6ish years
Wait there is a shooter on switch?! This game has me hooked and I am so disappointed I havent been playing this since Splatoon 2 (cuz I didnt have a Wii U). Hands down if you like fast paced shooters with a cartoony feel, look no further. If you enjoy Overwatch and need a change of pace, then hop over the ranked mode has the matches you are looking for in a shooter with an escort, control, and push style matches. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone with a Switch. It has all the classes of weapons from tanky rollers and buckets to support chargers (snipers). Its a the thrill of a shooter in a fun form where the matches are all under 5 minutes. Grab a copy today you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!
This game is #1 in the franchise IMO, you had racing and a mode to see how much destruction in a crash you can cause, even in multiplayer. All in all for racing games and replayability hands down the winner
Alright so 5 stars, yes there are limited number of car and limited number of tracks, but I spent so much time on this game. Whether it was trying for a new record or trying to see if the traffic lights actually worked I had a blast playing
So lets be real if you haven't played this you are missing out. A side scrolling survival that shows the dark side of war. 98% of War Games show the honor and glory of war, here your decisions matter. You are a civilian caught in the war, you can help other or turn them away. You need to steal or dodge sniper fire to gather food for your child. I have about 90 hours in the game but every play through is different. I have yet to survive the war, but maybe that the point.
3 for me, graphic are great and I can see why it is loved. I havent played the story only online. It continues to remind me why I dont play CoD on a regular basis, I'm terrible and a burden to teammates.
I bought this game on sale on steam, like I always buy every time 😂. Anyways, the storyline of this game is nuts, you take a crazy adventure to Rook Island get kidnapped some friends die others captured. You have to overcome your fears and be the hero. There is so much to do as a an open world too. Capture outpost, help locals, hunt; the list goes on and on. This game hooked me on the series, I need to pick up 5 and 6, I am usually behind on games. I would 10/10 recommend this if shooters with engaging storylines is your game. So customize that weapon be a hero and try to keep your sanity
This came out after the blockbuster hit The Fast and the Furious but before Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and 2003s hit Need for Speed Underground. The street race vibe with Nu-metal and Rap hits goes hard. Run for the cops and win races nothing sweeter
I will give most free to play games a shot, and this one got me. I Was a huge TF2 fan 8 years ago and fell off. This takes me back to it and I couldn’t be happier. I love the objective matches with class based hero’s. Even if I’m not good I haven’t gotten frustrated in matches….. yet (only 45 matches in)
Alright so I pick this up on sale in the Nintendo eShop. After about 45 minutes of play let me tell you, I think this is great. It is a nice side scrolling puzzle game with the morbid yet intriguing overtones. I enjoy the fact there is no tutorial so you just have to figure it out and go.
Are you even a real gamer if you never played this game…… Do you like open worlds? Do you like GTA? Do you like The Simpsons? Well if the answer is yes step right up! This game had it all and I enjoyed every minute of it. I would give up my second born for a remake or a good remaster
Who doesnt love Pokémon amirite!? First Game Boy game I ever bought, so worth it! SO WHY 4 STARS BROMEIN? Tall Grass that is why............... They said stay out of the tall grass because it is dangerous and full of wild Pokémon, I spent 3 hours of my 10 year old life trying to figure out how to get a starter Pokémon only to get called an idiot by my cousin who said just step in the tall grass. Who come bebopping along as soon as I step into the grass? Professor Oak and a wild Pikachu get outta here with that BS!!!! Seriously I loved the game just the beginning was so frustrating.
Spend 16 days preparing FTW, winter was coming and we had no other options, but wait someone jumped into action. Thank God we thought. Only to see the crock pot go up in flames and it slowly spread through out the base camp no end in sight. All was lost, ALL WAS LOST.
So I am only 4 hours in, the biggest turn off for me is the monetary sequence, it seems kind of pointless or maybe I don’t understand. This is my first game back since Blazing Blade. It may have the name but not the feel. This title feels something to be desired
This is the first MMORPG I ever played and at the time we still had dial up, so I had to go to a friends house to play and we had to alternate hours on whos account we played. Glad to see it is still kicking, its a blast
This was a fun little pandemic pick up. It’s quick and quirky, I had a blast solving the puzzles. There is a demo on the Nintendo eshop if anyone wants to test it out. I would 💯 recommend this to anyone that likes the idea of blocky 3d explorer meets puzzle solver. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! It’s has replayability if you beat it but didn’t 100% it
Since he was a young boy Jebediah Kermin has looked up the night sky and dreamed big. Now at the hands of Mission Control he is dreaming of home as he tumbles past The Mun on a trajectory sending him out the Solar System. How could Mission Control do this?! Spoiler Alert, you are mission control! This is where physics meets gaming and it’s as close to rocket surgery as it gets. Build rockets, planes, rovers. It’s a blast! Beware in career mode once a Kermin is lost they are lost forever….. only 4 stars due to tutorial does not give a good explanation of orbiting and projection for moon orbit; also building can be tough sometimes.
Even wonder what it’s like to be a grass roots racer and make it to the top? Well this game is not far off, career mode you start in feather-lite modified old school circle and road tracks. You have to earn your way up to the Cup. The addition of Grudges and Alliances add an element that make you think how should I race? Bump and bang trading paint? You are gonna have some enemies (that’s how I race lol) over all I thought it was a fun and exciting game that I have yet to find since from a NASCAR game I have tried
100x better than ETS, map spans from UK to Poland, Norway to Italy; it’s massive. Start as a loaner move cargo and collecting cash. Once you have enough buy your first truck mine was a Benz make bank then got a Volvo. You can expand your company to as big as your want with garages all across Europe. Hire drivers to make your runs and then you can free roam or move cargo. It’s like a virtual pyramid scheme lol
I stumbled across this game during the pandemic. I was looking for a flying combat game that isn’t Ace Combat, IL-4, or War Thunder. Now from appearances it looks cartoony and easy, well this is far from the truth. You are task with recruiting a crew and carrying out raids over Europe in WWII. Their lives are in your hands, upgrade the bomber, train your crew, and upgrade gear for survival. There are no do overs if you lose a bomber or a crew member, they are gone. When you return to base its new crew or new bomber. This is war. It is a somber reality each member lost is memorialized on a statue on the title screen. I would recommend this game to everyone!
Get your motor running and head out on the highway! Looking for adventure, for what ever may come my way, born to be truckin (Steppenwolf plays in my head) the US version of ETS2. Relax and explore the west coast / southwest in a Kenworth, Peterbuilt, or Freightliner. Tons of cargo and road to explore
Ugha Bugha! Protect me o wise mask! As the first kind of 3D platformer I played as a kid I was terrible at it but it was fun to pass the controller around with my cousins on a Saturday afternoon
Let me set the tone, basketball was not basketball when this came out….. it was all about street ball, AND1 Tour was all the rage with the likes of The Professor and Hot Sauce. This game nailed the concepts and with the throwback of some classic NBA players it was the ultimate fusion. Sprinkle in DJ Bobbito and you bake yourself something mighty special. 15/10 would pull droppin Dimes again!!
At the time this game came out rugby was on the rise in the US. Even though the Eagles were a joke, youth rubgy was blooming. I loved baseball, football, and soccer games, but this was different. I got to play as my favorite teams from around the world in a sport I played, lived, and breathed. The gameplay was great and flowed like a match should
Step aside fall guys this is the original “show”! Talk about a free for all fun title with a ton of mini games. I never got bored of it. Fuuuusssion Freeenzyyyy!!!
I'm pretty sure I got kicked out of my first band because of this game. Seriously, I rented this game in the summer of 05 and made my band mates wait for like an hour. I forced them to watch me try and beat the last level/boss, I couldn't do it, so we practiced. A week later I was replaced on drums, cuz I wasn't focused enough, hell I was only 15 lol. For a shooter on GameCube, I thought it was great, I had fun for the week I rented it, but alas I couldn't beat it. If anyone has beat it, let me know how the outro was.....
I felt the story mode was two short, maybe 3-4 hours of gameplay with breaks. I will say the co-Oo gave it replay-ability and was a lot more fun with friends. The concept of saving the future by going to the past was cool. The biggest pull for this game was the multiplayer, even if you couldn’t play on line you could play with friends and bots, it was a laugh fest. You could even build your own maps which was so much fun, probably spent more time making them than playing. 4/5 would shoot the loose moose again
#1 in the series 💯 this game is amazing AND the fact they did an HD remake stays it all. I have spend so many nights only to get my civilization crushed, you may not have heard because Winners write history. 10/10 would fight to be defeated again
Just started play this, I see the draw and how it gets kids active. Item management pisses me off, my backpack fills up to fast without warning. Also if you are new the gyms and wild Pokémon can be way too OP for you to attempt
First Pokémon game I touched, immediately love it. My cousin had blue for the game boy and we went on a 3 hour trip with his parents. We spent the next 6 hours (3 down/3 back) trying to catch em all
This is the icon global dominance game for me. It was just brilliant, use good strategy or try to crush your enemies with sheer will power and strength. The resource aspect was huge. Spend tons of hours with my friend on his computer playing
I started here, never touched the first one. So a little of the story was lost on me, but this game is AMAZING!! This is the one of the best puzzle games I have ever played. The ability for multiplayer makes it even more amazing!
Do you like risk? Do you like turn based global dominance? Well this is for you! It has the tabletop turn based appeal with a travel through time to the modern age. I gave 4 because it is REAL slow to start when playing computers.
So let’s set the mood, you are a teenager obsessed with video games and World War II. You have played the Medal of Honor series at your friends house and Battlefield 1942. All of it focuses on the landing at Omaha Beach, which isn’t your thing. What do you love about WWII? Airborne Operations! Well you are surprised with this game and an Xbox for your 16th birthday. So let’s take your normal FPS and add in tactics. Seriously you have to command not only the fire team but the assault team as well. Shoot, move, communicate!! Flank and press or die like the rest. The added elements of tactics and battlefield awareness make this game wayyy ahead of its time! I would 💯 play a remake of this game!! 13/10 would slay nazis again
This will forever be one of my fondest gaming memories when it comes to multiplayer games. My best friend and I would stay up for hours when I spent the night at his house. The simplicity of worms as characters with the complexity of angles, weight, map size, and rising water. This game was amazing!!
First off probably made me better without knowing it. Subliminally push me toward why I have the career I have, one of the few who solves for x on a daily basis. For a math game it was a blast!
Couldn’t play Grand Turismo? Games had to be educational? Well then let’s slow down the speed turn up the adventure and bam Putt-Putt is the slap in the face you need to wake up your brain activity
First game I played on GBC, it’s Pokémon that’s really all that needs to be said. I know there is a lot of people who don’t like the repetitive feel but I thought it was a great game with a new Gen of Pokémon
Alright so this was my first ever game on the GBA. Fun fact, I would hang around the nerds in Middle School, you know anime club / Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards. Spoiler Alert, not my thing but one kid said hey check this out and introduced me to fire emblem. Maybe it’s cuz it’s combat but this turn based RPG stuck its claws into me and no looking back. I have always chased the high of this game, the rest of the series wasn’t for me
Well if you loved James Bond and didn’t have a 64 or not allowed to play goldeneye, then strap in for Spy Frickin Fox. With his trusty secretary Penny Monkey you are handed the mission of saving the world from Mr. Kid and his evil plan. Honestly who likes goats milk, Seriously!? Save the cows, save the dairy, save the world. No child should have a dry bowl of cereal!!
I remember finding the game in a box of Chex, a video game in cereal amazing!! Couldn’t wait to load it up on our family’s first PC (old school Toshiba). Of course I couldn’t right after breakfast, this was when “computer time” was regulated. Once I was allowed I popped that bad boy in and my mind was opened to the world of FPS. You are a spaceman sent to a base on an alien planet. The graphics seemed amazing and the adventure unreal at least to this 7 y/o. I would spend everyday grinding and learning how to play. To this day it is one of my fond memories that come back at random times and I sit there and smile.
Fútbol is life! Honestly mixing rc cars and soccer seems crazy but works. I personally enjoy snow day (hockey). There are masters of their craft at this game and then there is me 😂 I only give it 4 because sometimes rando matches can be so toxic
First off what’s not to love! This game is E for Everyone is a Winner! I’ve had fun playing with family or throwing beers back with the boys. If you have a switch it is a must buy! See ya on the track…
I give it a 5 because it has its hooks in me and there is no way out. I enjoy this game it is a breathe of fresh air for shooters. Wish I would have taken the time to play it when I heard about it in 2018, missed the bus by 3 years. It’s a great way to connect with your teens or with adults. I have build a few friendships due to the game
This cash cow is being milked for all it is worth. I like the concept of multiple characters and the classic GTA open world. Love the therapist report you get at the end definitely has replay capability. Disappointed in the online play.
