Campaign was decent and the multiplayer was fun at first. However the gun balancing and map variety is not the best. SBMM makes it difficult to enjoy the game and there is not a lot of fun game modes either.
It's an amazing game and one of the most memorable Playstation exclusive games ever. Variety of enemies, interesting and fun weapons to choose from and memorable bosses.
As a fan of horror, I was excited to play this game. Mainly due to the cast and the creators of the game also made Dead Space. The first half of this game was pretty cool. The close combat system they made was a cool concept. However they didn't really expand into their combat system. It became very stale after a while. The healing system and inventory system are not well designed either. The biggest problem with the game is the story. Majority of the time I had no clue what was happening due to the lack of story. You barely interact with other characters including supporting and antagonists. The ending was the awful too, especially due to the fact that you have to buy a dlc to get the ending only to learn that the ENTIRE STORY DLC WAS POINTLESS. The boss fight for the dlc ending was poorly designed as well. Took me two hours to beat a boss who could teleport, stun-lock you, has a one shot move that you can't block or get out of the way, and can interrupt your attacks as well for an ending that literally did nothing to progress the story at all.
Lethal Company is a fun co-op horror game that is centered on workers exploring dangerous moons to find scrap to sell to make their job quotas. Failing to meet the quota will result in you getting ejected into space. It's a simple concept but it is done so well for a game. The best part of the game is that it's goofy and has the best proximity voice/chat I have ever seen in a game. There's always something fun and chaotic happening in the game from giant eyeless dogs attacking you to landmine. It's hilarious to play, especially with friends.
Phasmophobia is a fun horror game to play with friends. Creepy atmosphere and proximity chat is fun to mess with. The only issue is that this game is better to play with friends, not alone.
The Last of Us is one of the greatest narrative games to have been made. The storytelling is done so well. This game really highlights how well video game can tell a story.
Monster Hunter Rise is probably my favorite monster hunter game. With the expansion recently, Monster Hunter Rise provided some of the best monster fights in the whole series.
As someone who has never played the original Resident Evil 4 game, I now understand why everyone loved RE4. This game was fun to play while stilling providing that classic horror of Resident Evil. Average game length is about 10-12 hours.
Apex Legends is a great battle royale that has very fluid movements and interesting maps. Only issue I have is that there's a ton of in game issues and bugs which makes playing the game frustrating.
The zombie mode in Black Ops 3 is amazing. Great maps and incredible easter eggs. Multiplayer is pretty fun as well minus the loot crates. The campaign story was meh though.
