"Halo.... But I also loved tons of other games on this system. The fat controller was okay when I was using it, but going back to it is mind boggling haha."
"Halo. I could end my review there and that would be explanation enough. Whether it was LAN parties with Halo 1 or Xbox Live with Halo 2, so many countless hours spent on such an amazing franchise!
Plus it was home to my second favourite game of all time - Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic."
"There are only a handful of times in my life when I was surprised and speechless. This is one, you will see a common theme in my reviews I am always a Gen behind. 2005 my 16th birthday, the sweet 16, get to go to a Japanese steakhouse (badass I know) well we do dinner cake the whole nine. Then my parents pull out a gift bag. I open it, there is an Xbox controller and Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30! No way I look in disbelief does this mean? My parents nod I had an XBox waiting for me at the house when we return! Hell yeah I am on cloud 9 my best friend and I stayed up past bed time (yes, parents were strict) to beat that games. Also loved Halo "
"The OG Xbox was a chonky boi without much appeal. The option to listen to your own tunes in games like Fusion Frenzy was a nice feature, but given that only certain games allowed you to do this, the primary reason for owning an Xbox was Halo. "
"The original Xbox was a total wash. There were some fun games and it was nice to see another contender step into the console market after Sega rode off into the sunset. Thankfully they understood the 2nd time around that bigger doesn't mean better. The console was massive and the controllers were disgusting. Thankfully they brought out the S which made gaming more pleasurable. "
"Halo. That's it. My brother & I played Halo once at my cousins & next think you knew, my parents were buying him an Xbox. We didn't do much more with it as we weren't OG's to the online playing thanks to the lack of internet service at my parents house, but this was such a great system to have even with the little games my brother owned. Thankfully we didn't have to play with that largue, bulky controller too much once things were slimmed down."
"Controllers were huge. Another system that I could only play if I went to a friends house and those friends only wanted to play Halo. I suck at Halo. Not a great experience with this system"
