The swearing one is another favorite. @laughatbrian Facts gets a lot of use from me too. @jedijohann's hug is another top tier gif. And so many more. The fact that the community makes our own makes them so much better. I have a lot of fun making them, Table flip and Banhammer were both fun and frustrating to create. But my two popcorn gifs might be what I'm most proud of. It sadly had to be split into two different gifs due to it being too long and too awesome. So I'm attaching the whole thing here too to share the epic popcorn journey that I managed to get made without the kids yelling at me demanding to know what was taking me so long with their popcorn. Yesterday I started an overnight smoke for the pork butt and made a Spiced Rum BBQ sauce and a Carolina Gold sauce. Made a quick trip to Home Depot to get more charcoal since the WSM decided to be a fuel hog overnight, then got the smoker up to temp again for the 5 racks of ribs I smoked today. While those were going my wife made mac and cheese and a charcuterie board. Rounded out the spread with some burgers and dogs for those who didn't think they had enough meat options. If anyone left hungry today, it was their own fault. "

"4th of July two years ago was probably the biggest the food spread got. I smoked a pork butt and 4 racks of spare ribs. Grilled corn on the cob. Made burgers and dogs. A buddy of mine brought a brisket. My wife made various salads. I made a homemade BBQ sauce and a Carolina Gold sauce for the pulled pork. Started the pork well before the party on the lower rack of my 22" WSM, then added the ribs to the upper rack 4 hours before I estimated the pork butt to be done. Timing worked out perfectly. Pork finished, had ample time to rest while the ribs finished up. No one left hungry. "

"This story is also about Duck! For Father's Day two years ago all I wanted to do was to smoke something. Guests were up in the air, and after some back and forth it wound up just being me, my wife, and kids. My wife was pushing for me to smoke a turkey, which I wasn't particularly excited for (turkey is low on my poultry tier list), and I figured I would since we had one in the freezer and it would easily feed a bunch of people. But once we found out it was just us, I opted for a duck. And it was the best choice. I did a bunch of research online since I hadn't smoked a duck before, found a good looking recipe for seasoning and glaze, which I then tweaked some, and I went for it. And it was the best thing I've ever smoked. Kids loved it, and they're normally meh about duck. Wife loved it too. Skin came out great, duck was juicy, flavorful, perfectly smokey. I went from excited to smoke something, to kinda meh about the turkey, to excited about the duck and finishing with it being even better than I had hoped. Total success."

"I've been trying to think of a disaster story all week, and couldn't. Which I'm not saying to brag, because I'm sure I've got one buried int he grey matter. All I could think of was the story my dad told me of his biggest grilling disaster. And since that's all I can shake out, that's the one I'll tell even though it was before I can remember (and possibly before I was born). He was cooking a duck on his grill. He had the electric rotisserie going, everything was looking good. Duck was close to done, and Jeopardy was on. Now my dad was always a big fan of the gameshow, and would not miss Final Jeopardy if he could help it. So as the show was coming to a close, he thought the duck would be fine for a bit while he watched. After the answers were given and the winner decided he went out to check on the duck only to find his grill on fire, flames almost reaching the house. The duck fat caught. His bird was incinerated. His house almost caught fire. My mom never let him cook a duck again, which is why I never had duck my whole life until my wife (girlfriend at the time) made one for Easter one year. And now I really want duck..."

"I’m voting BG3 mostly based on my “BG3 deserves every award it’s eligible for” attitude. However, I had a hard time and almost picked TotK because LoZ games always have bangers. All that being said, while I love music, most of the time, while playing a game, it doesn’t stand out to me. Which is sort of the point I guess. Done well it should feel like part of the scene you’re experiencing. If it stands out too much, it takes away from everything else. Too little and the game feels lifeless. So with that in mind, I’m happy with my BG3 vote because playing through the game I felt the emotions I should feel during the times I should feel them, and a lot of that is due to a soundtrack that hits the right notes (pun *absolutely* intended) at the right time. "

"I’ve seen 311 almost every year since I was 15. They played at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ August 15, 2003, and it was the best show I’ve ever been to. The venue was amazing. Just a stage set up in a big ass field. Beautiful summer day/evening. I drove my sister and her friend (who was basically my older brother at that point) in my Wrangler with the top down. Perfect summer vibes. We get there and luck out into parking right in front of the entrance. Kick on the radio and tailgate, made friends with some people who swapped beers for permission to sit on the front bumper while they waited to go in. Something Corporate was the first opener, followed by G-Love & His Special Sauce. Both had good sets. 311 takes the stage and the light show that went along with this concert was amazing. 2 encores, played all the hits we really wanted to hear. When we leave, even though I’m right by the entrance, I’m able to pull out and sneak around all the other traffic. Not a thing went wrong the whole day. Just an amazing show/experience. Top tier summer memory for me. Close second was Weezer/Flaming Lips and PNC Bank Arts Center. They co-headlined, and it was excellent. And while I’m adding extras here, Flogging Molly at the Electric Factory in Philly 2004 holds another special place in my heart. First date with my wife. Best friend was supposed to come, but had to cancel last minute. I had just met my future wife, we weren’t really dating yet. Told her I had an extra ticket and I guess she thought I wasn’t to bad since she said yes. "
