Xbox Series X/S
This closed the gap between PC and system, especially offering a digital version being more cost efficient.

Xbox One
Good, not great. I preferred PlayStation over Xbox for the Exclusives starting around this time but continued to purchase both.
0
PlayStation 4
PlayStation continued its PS3 success with this. Great exclusives and top tier gameplay separated itself from the competition.

PlayStation 5
Top tier performance and amazing exclusives. It stepped up this generations gaming systems.

Xbox 360
Halo makes it 5…Red Ring of Death makes it a 4.

PlayStation Portable
It was decent for the time it was released. Sony should’ve tried to make this happen a little better.

Oculus Quest
I’ve played this with friends and it’s a good time for a few hours. After that, it become repetitive.

Super Nintendo (SNES)
Nintendo really broke ground and continued to develop gaming into the future with the SNES. Mario kept running and won the competition against Sega.

PlayStation
A big part of growing up and playing sports games with friends

Sega Saturn
Sega never really figured out the CD portion of gaming

Nintendo 3DS
My favorite portable system until the Switch. Great games and exclusives

Wii U
The Wii U crawled so the Switch could run

Oculus Quest 2
Fun time until the hangover hits from the VR

Mobile (iOS, Android)
This was amazing for staying busy while pooping, then the Switch changed the game.

Game Boy Color
Family vacations were tolerable playing Pokémon in the back seat. Hooking up with friends systems to trade Pokémon was a good time and changed the game for me.

Wii
Fun time when I wasn’t throwing wiiMotes through my tv

PlayStation 2
Possibly the best system in history. GTA San Andreas was a wild time to play with friends.

Nintendo Switch
The perfect family system. Great for all ages and easy to travel with. Nintendo hit it out of the park with this system.

PC
I used to make jokes about the “PC Master Race”….then I built a pc. It’s impossible to go back to console after being able to fully control the output you want on your system.

Nintendo 64
Mario 64, Mario Party, Conkers Bad Fur Day. So many classic titles and groundbreaking tech for Nintendo that changed the game. My childhood wouldn’t have been half as good without this system.

GameCube
The dreams all came true for 10 year old NotJosh when I received a GameCube for Christmas. My favorite versions of Mario Party and Mario Kart both come from this platform and the controller is still top tier in the NintendoVerse. Without this console, my love of Nintendo games wouldn’t have grown into what it is today. I acquired another console about a year ago that is still getting playtime.
