This was odd for me because graphics are way down on the list of what i care about in a game. So if I think about games I thought looked cool when I played them i get these games.

I'm awful at 3D platforms. I struggle with the controls and often give up. These 3 stand out to me. The Stilled Lands in EoW are great platformers and I have not had any difficulty moving about. Kirby is on here because my youngest loves it. And even though I struggle with Mario 3D World I did play most of the way through it with the youngest and the memories are what stands out.

The decathlon covers the spectrum of events so we need to cover as many categories of gaming as possible. Decathletes are not specialist in any event and balanced in all.

My list will be for a Nintendo Decathlon as that is the system I have/know. This list includes a platformer, racing, sports, fighting, shooter, RPG, family friendly, motion control, collectathon, and puzzle.

Yes, there are more than 10. But since I have a goal to play, and hopefully beat, all the main Zelda games i will use this list to keep track and give my rankings. Those above Kart and SSBU (which are on this list since I main Link and Zelda respectively) are ones i would play again and those below I probably will never play again if I ever beat them.

These are the games I've played. Remember I went from the NES to the Wii so there is no need for "what about ..."

UPDATED: TotK is an excellent game, but it hasn't passed BotW for me yet. I will give my full review after I get even further in the game.

Update #2. TotK review is given. But this is my list not about the kids (see review). I still have BotW over TotK. This is based on which game I would probably go back and play down the line. Breath felt more like a game with end goal. In Tears I find myself all over the place and it feels like story is a secondary aspect to the open world aspect.

UPDATE #3. Had to make some adjustments today

Update #4. Ive got my 10th Zelda game, LttP. I've made it to the dark world and rescued the first maiden. Yep, that's where it goes.

Update #5. Echoes of Wisdom is fantastic. I haven't beat it yet but played enough to place it high on this list. I could see this being a game I go back to again and again. It reminds me so much of when I played Zelda II as a kid. I have it at 4 now because I ha ent beat it yet but could easily see it on the level of Zelda II and BotW.

Update #6: Echoes definitely delivered and cracked the top 3. I have it in 2nd right now because I want to play more of it. Any game that leaves you feeling that way is definitely a great game.
