Ghost of Yōtei is an upcoming video game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The player controls Atsu, a samurai woman, and takes place around Mount Yōtei during 1603. It is the sequel to their 2020 game Ghost of Tsushima. It is set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5
Ghost of Yōtei centers around the theme of "underdog vengeance", following the female protagonist Atsu (portrayed by Erika Ishii). The story is set in 1603, 400 years after the events of the first game, and takes place around Mount Yōtei on Japan's Hokkaido island. Developers have noted that players will have more control over Atsu's narrative and choices compared to the first game, Ghost of Tsushima.
