This is a strategy game in which players use elements of nation-building to help a 15th-19th century nation take over the world. Players can engage in diplomacy, manage resources, and make political decisions that affect their nation's statistics and overall strength. Players can also wage war on other nations; battles are depicted by two soldiers slashing swords or shooting rifles at each other—cries of pain and gunfire/clashing sounds can be heard. The game contains brief references to sexual material (e.g., “Her songs had countless instances of thinly-disguised innuendo and references to unconventional sex acts” and “…personal matters such as sexual intercourse . . .”). One passage references opium (e.g., “[U]nder the influence of an ever worsening and consuming opium addiction.”). The words “bastard” and “damn” appear in text.
