Dead Space 3 is a 2013 survival horror action video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The third and final main entry in the Dead Space series, the story follows series Isaac Clarke and his allies as they explore the planet Tau Volantis to discover the origins of the growing Necromorph threat. Gameplay has Isaac exploring the environment, solving puzzles, and finding resources while fighting Necromorphs and hostile human Unitologists. The game also supports online cooperative multiplayer, with the second player taking the role of new character John Carver.
