That's all I'll say - Like with all three of these, I don't want to spoil anything. 3. A Little To The Left One of my favorite puzzle games out there - in this game you play "neat freak" who is simply trying to keep their house in order, as your terrible cat-baby knocks over pencil cases, sabotages your book shelves, walks all over your desk, and generally does things that every lovably horrible cat does. "The tropical setting made this one of the most beautiful, and most bio-diverse, regions. If I were to choose three old starters I'd love to see reimagined with a tropical theme, I'd go with Bulbasaur, Fuecoco, and Mudkip. I REALLY wanna see a regional variant of Totodile, and the idea of a Bulbasaur with a coconut on its back is SO cute. That said, Venusaur's island-themed variant wouldn't bring much variation, and the opportunity for Skelederge to wear one of those "island fruit-hats" is impossible for me to pass on - and there won't be two croc starters. If I were to request one BASIC new feature in the game, I really want the ability to customize Pokeballs. I'm fine with the patterns being the same - but I'm tired of the blue and red Great Balls. Let me change the blue to red, and those red lines into gold - or whatever variation the player decides. Ever since the 3D games started showing balls when you toss em, I've started color-coordinating which balls I use to catch which Pokemon. I'd really like to stop catching blue pokemon exclusively with Great Balls."

"BroForce" is easily in my top 3, when it comes to side-scrollers from the past decade. This ONE game features EVERY buff badass from 80's/90's American cinema and television, and you can play as any/every one of them. (Just look at the cast, in this pic) There's NO guide, either: Nothing to tell you how the game is played. So, much like Tunic, it's up to you to explore and see what's possible. Example: Late in the game, I tried jumping off a building and grabbing the side of an enemy helicopter, and it was totally possible because of course it was - I'm a badass, Bro."

"It's REAL hard to choose this one. Wario Ware is my shit, Pokemon Ruby rocks butts, Fire Emblem on the GBA literally changed the game... but when I think about what I would play with my pals at school, Advance Wars takes the crown. LARGELY because it was the ONE major Nintendo release that allowed multiplayer with ONE handheld. I remember off-periods at school where we'd pass GBAs to each other, and finished homework between rounds. To me, that made it the best GBA experience I could have at that age - learning to balance fun with work AND goof with friends all at the same time. The Switch remake is lacking a bit, but these original games friggin slapped."

"I’m pretty sure Tears of the Kingdom was supposed to be released on the next Switch - and that this is our first look at the Switch 2. I mostly say this cuz adding a camera to the back feels like a natural evolution; one that offers something competitors cannot (you can’t exactly lift a PS5 and take a selfie). I imagine it’ll also have a camera above the screen too, so you can record yourself as you play. I think the back camera will mostly be used for QR codes (so folks don’t have to manually enter codes for game-related gifts) and also augmented reality - but I could also see some other fun ways to integrate it.
