Spider-Man 2 has an amazing opening start of the game with your battle against sandman. After that the game feel a little stale for awhile. While i appreciate them giving you the option of playing as either Spider-Man in the game, it sometimes would make the game harder to progress through. This game felt more gear towards Peter Parker being the story, and the miles morales missions and interactions didn't seem like they always fit with the game. It felt like it wasn't a 2 Spider-Man game, but a Peter Parker Spider-Man game with them finding ways for Miles Morales having to be super involved since he exist in this universe.
Kraven always felt like just a placeholder "main villian" as I was playing the game, because I was more waiting for Venom to finally show up. Once Venom showed up, the game really took off for me. I wish there would have been more Venom in the game and more symbiotes. Mary Jane turning into the Scream symbiote was awesome and they should have included more symbiote "bosses" leading up to your fight with Venom.
I love the teases they have set-up to potentially be followed up on for the next game with Doc Ock, Carnage, Norman Osborn looking to take down Spider-Man, and the Spider Verse/Spider-Man 2099 mention. I liked the introduction of Wraith into the story and universe. Mary-Jane is OP with that gun of hers.
Spider-Man 2 is a very solid game, but I don't think it can beat out the 2018 Marvel Spider-Man for me.
I never played this game until joining C3, and after a playing it for a few quests I can now conclude that this is not a good game. I would understand why people who played this around the time it was released would think its a good game.
It’s not what you would have guessed the follow up to SMB would be, but it’s still not a horrible game. Each character having their own abilities is cool, and the final boss fight against wart is better than the final fight against bowser in SMB.
It’s a different style of FNAF game with you now being able to run around and explore instead of sitting in the office (point and click). Had some bugs in it that made you laugh or get frustrated, but overall enjoyed it. Got 3 of the 5 endings, including the “Good ending”. Enjoyed the story as it continues from Help Wanted VR. Will be going back to beat the Ruin DLC soon, and might do the other two endings as well.
I did enjoy this game, and the visuals and music was just as good as the first game. I think it is a solid follow-up, but I enjoyed the Blind Forest more.
It’s a 5 star game for the bluey fans, but in terms of a video game it’s probably close to a 3. A super easy game to let your kids play on their own or together. Short and simple. Mini games are fun enough to entertain for awhile, lots of costumes to unlock and dress up as, and just fun to explore the bluey household you see in the show. A few bugs when trying to play mini games that caused me to have to restart a few times.
Just beat this last night. I am glad they made another 2D Mario game. This game was fun to play and I like how they let you know the difficulty of each level. My one complaint would be the characters. I would have rather they had given each character a special advantage over the other ( Luigi jumps higher, peach has the float jump, etc.) to make you want to use different characters in different situations. 4.5 stars would be true rating for the game, so I’ll round up until we can do half stars.
4.5 stars would be my actual rating if I could, but I rounded up. This is a very solid game and I enjoyed it. My only complaint would be that the story felt short. I would have liked more story building with miles and uncle Aaron (other than just the mixtapes). It took the first spider-man game and built off of that and did enough different to make it not feel exactly like it.
An amazing game that lived up to all the hype I have heard about it. I enjoyed this game so much from the main story to side quests that it didn’t feel like I was ever wasting time trying 100% the main game.
Much easier I feel like than Pokémon yellow was as a kid. Still have to finish the Pokédex, but even that I feel hasn’t been that bad. It was weird catching a Pokémon without battling it first. You get to battle a few Pokémon before you try to capture them, and I feel like it was easy catching the legendary birds. I like that you can transfer Pokémon from Pokemon GO to this game.
Never played the first Overwatch. I could see how people would pick this as their favorite game. Very team based gameplay, which can be fun and frustrating at times. Probably will only be played casually, but it is fun.
This game was very solid overall from the gameplay, to the visuals, and the music. It also is not a very long game which I liked about it. This was a game that I found out about on C3.
The Wii remote & nunchuck made this game like some others games not that great to play. Get the classic controller or gamecube controller when playing.
This is the fighting game I have probably played the most of, but I am still not that good at it. E. Honda and Chun-Li were they characters I remember doing the best with.
Warzone started off very strong and was something I played everyday for about a year. Rebirth Resurgence and the first Halloween events were good. Game just kind of fell off after awhile with some of the special events they started adding.
In the Arkham trilogy, i would say this is my least favorite of the three. I did enjoy the option of getting to play as nightwing in a mission. Still a solid game, but not as good as the previous two.
This was the first Halo game I ever played, and it was very good. Definitely something I think you can pick up and enjoy without knowing anything about Halo.
It was a decent game and one I think worth playing. Tried a little too much to copy BOTW it felt like. The cyber space levels were they best part for me. Make sure to switch difficulty to hard just before the final titan battle for the final boss ending. I would like to see a retro style sonic game next like how they did for TMNT shredders revenge.
I only played online, but i loved this game. Conquest (i think that is what it was called) was the only online game mode i played. I loved capturing a point and then sitting up far away sniping everyone trying to come that way, or get into a tank and driving around trying to capture everything.
A shooter game, but with paint? Sounds like something Nintendo would make and not be good, but it is actually amazing. Quick matches, the online game modes and map changes very frequently, and they have fun splatfest evens that make you want to jump back in and play even if its been weeks. If you have a switch this should be a must have game, if you like shooter style games.
We got a solo campaign in this one, but I felt more disappointed with it by the end of the story. When this game first came it was not good at all as far as online play, but it eventually grew into a really good star wars fan game. Just needed to add Ahsoka.
When I think of hockey games, this is the first one that comes to mind. As a kid I never understood if have a skinny, medium, or large person made a difference, but I always tried to balance out the team.
My oldest kid and I enjoy playing this game even if we are just running around doing absolutely nothing. Fun game for kids just starting out playing on their own.
The fact that you do not have dig out your other consoles to play these makes it great, and to be able to play handheld helps you be able to get more playing time in.
It was fun unlocking all the characters. Online matchups are a nightmare though, and why I haven't played this game in months. Mostly just play with my oldest when she asks.
My wife started playing this a couple of weeks ago. Now after avoiding this game for years, I have now played it everyday since she started. We play duos every night after kids go to bed.
I loved this game! I got this game just right when the pandemic started, and I feel it is very underrated in terms of people talking about Good Mario bros. games.
Motion controls were interesting at first, but became more of problem. Once I found out you could use a GameCube controller to play it made the game much better.
Ken Griffey Jr was my favorite player growing up. My dad and I tried to play a complete season together one time, he would play a game and i would play one. I think we got close, but never was able to finish the season. It was weird when i was a kid why none of the other players had their "real names".
Only Assassin's Creed game I have been able to finish. The american revolutionary war was something we always went over in history classes in high school, so the setting of the game is what made me want to play it. The ending was horrible in my opinion.
Call of Duty was always more of a campaign first for me, then multiplayer. This one I just could not get into the story, but I did enjoy the online play. Zombies was good.
