Post 2.0 Cyberpunk 2077 has come closer to that dream game I saw back when the demos were first showcased. Better combat, better design decisions, a broad expansion of the world and universe with Phantom Liberty, AND on top of that a greater depth of cusomization has me playing it over 150 hours now. A great game, and should be seen as a staple for modern gaming technology for how damn beautiful it looks. Janky moments and Ubisoft-like quest design is the biggest issue with this game to date, but what qins me over and earns the 5 star treatment is the aesthetic of the world, characters, and main story.
This is one of the best live service games I've ever played. Constsantly changing, a fun and fluid gameplay that makes spreading managed democracy fun.
An oldie but a goodie, Max Payne offers a fun bullet time mechanic and an almost lovable noir theme story. However the audio issues I had requiring me to get an unnoficial 3rd party patch and the goofy facial features sucked me out of what's meant to be a serious and dark story.
