Probably my favorite Atari that my uncle had. First, it had some backwards compatibility, which was crazy at the time! My two favorite games were Basketbrawl and Ninja Golf. They weren’t the bets games, but I loved the ideas. It was kind of like NFL Blitz, in which you are playing sports but you are fighting too. I wish this is a concept someone would bring back!
I actually only ever played one game on this system, but it was a great game! My uncle had the Atari systems and he had Ms PacMac. One of my favorite games ever!
Sega was so successful with the Genesis, but they took a huge step back here. Probably their biggest flop in terms of systems. It actually led to a huge number of layoffs in the company. While there were some great games, it was not great.
The system itself was not great, but it still had some really sun games! Hours of Sonic Adventures and Crazy Taxi. If you’re looking at sega systems, go for the genesis.
I love PlayStation! This is a really solid machine! I have two problems. One, it’s huge and not a fan of the design. I also almost only play my switch at this point.
First Console that we owned in my house. We had one game, or was it two? Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt! We were only allowed to get it out on special occasions so when it came out, we played for hours upon hours!
I didn’t get a DS until a few years ago. Since then, I’ve made my way through the Pokémon games. The Switch has partially made these obsolete but they are still solid little systems to take on the go.
I actually loved this system! My uncle had all the old Ataris and Nintendos at his house. We thought it was the coolest thing that you could flip it! Only ever played a Batman game on it, but had a blast as a kid!
Very very fond memories of this system, mostly due to introducing me to Sonic Games. I know I’m weird, but Sonic Spinball was my favorite game on this console!
One of the greats! Nintendo pumps out the best systems year in and year out! And they hold their worth for decades!! Super Mario alone made this console worth it!
This was not my favorite system and I was a huge Nintendo it at the time, but I spent countless hours playing frogger and Spyro. What else could you want?!
Literally nothing bad to say about this system! We’re the controllers weird looking? Yes. But I absolutely love them! So many gamechanging titles came from this era!
I know this system had its issues, but it gave us Wii Sports! One of the only games my whole family would play together. That alone is worth five stars!
I have done limited gaming on PC, but I use it to stream. My one downside is I’ve been waiting to build a new one because of prices…. They have been ridiculously overpriced!
This is the one Nintendo system I never owned for myself. I played quite a bit with my cousins. I felt the handheld screen was too gimicky for me to really want to buy it. A lot of good games later on with this system.
Huge jumó from the original Gameboy to this! Just the size difference alone made it worth it! Although I didn’t use this for very long before the next advancement came out…
My first system and we loved it! We only had Tetris but that didn’t matter. This was how we spent long trips in the car. Later on we got Pokémon games and this bad boy played them flawlessly!
This gets the same rating as the first one. Amazing piece of technology and we’ve had so much fun with it. Again only knock is if you can’t cast it, very minimal fun with groups.
Absolutely loved my quest! It was the first real VR I had ever played and it was a blast! Beat saber, Star Wars, and so many other amazing games! My only knock is that I can only play solo for so long on it. And if you are in a group, you need to be able to cast it to a tv or it’s not very fun.
Probably my favorite system I have ever owned! I love the Dock/Handheld combo! It is going to be interesting to see how Nintendo follows this up, but for now they are going to just ride this one out. And I’m okay with that! My only knock would be that Nintendo has tried to keep up with trends, like Fortnite, but the Switch just doesn’t even come close to the other systems in playing these types of games.
