Love God. Love my family. Love games.
Tabletop Pendulum
Pendulum is not a bad game, but it fits directly into that category of games that just aren't for me. One of the main themes of this game is time and how you utilize it. Well when I play games, I'm highly logical and I think about everything. So I didn't like how this game sort of limits that aspect, hence why I'm currently selling this one...

Tabletop Dice Throne: Season Two
My favorite part of this game is skill level doesn't matter, it is all based on dice rolls. Now, strategy matters. Sometimes you go for the big roll, and it burns you. Sometimes it pays off. Even though the characters have very different play styles, none of them are overpowered. They did a great job of keeping them even! Great addition to season one!
0
Tabletop Dice Throne: Season One
Highly recommend this game if you haven't played it before! It can be described as Battle Yahtzee! You can play 1v1, 2v2, 1v1v1, etc. Our favorite is 1v1, but it is also fun with more people! The coolest thing about it is it comes with like 8 different characters, so every game you get to be someone new and have new matchups. No two games are ever alike in that regard!
0
Madden NFL 2004
I absolutely loved this game, but I only played as one team. Vick was always one of my favorite players (not the nicest guy irl however...). He is the reason I almost always play as teams with a running qb. I would take that over accurate thrower all day in these games. Try and come at me with a qb spy...
0
Tabletop Don't Wake Daddy
My grandparents had this game and we would play it while at their house (partly due to the fact they only had like 5 games, most of which were missing pieces...). The concept is kind of fun, however it is a game we got bored with quickly. I have tried it with my son, but he is not a huge fan...
0
Tabletop The Quacks of Quedlinburg
Some people hate this game because of the randomness of drawing tiles, but we love it! There is still strategy, but the randomness makes it a fun game for all skill levels! Definitely a game that kids can play and understand as well!
0
Killer Queen Black
Absolutely love playing this game! First played it at a Bar Cade where they have the 10 person machine. Most fun I've ever had at an arcade game I think. Got the version on the switch and it's a blast, as long as you can get enough people! Need at least 6 in my opinion!
0
Tabletop Simulator
Im still on the fence on this one. It was 3 stars, but I bumped it up. I've used this a little bit, and it's not for me. I love board games. A lot. We play board games. A lot. But half the fun of playing board games is being together around the table. So while I had fun playing online, it just wasn't the same.
0
Tabletop Hickory Dickory
Played this with some friends about a year ago and really enjoyed it! The friends did not, which is why they gave it to me... Their loss is my gain! It has some interesting components and I'm all for it! Some definite luck, but a lot of strategy as to when you move your mice off of the clock. Definitely a game worth a play! Only con is it can take some time forsure.
0
Tabletop Mysterium
Came across this game on Amazon Prime days. It was on a huge sale and you could play with 6 players, I was sold! We've only been able to play it once so far, but I loved it! I was the ghost (spirit?) and I loved giving the clues! Definitely recommend giving this one a try!
0
Tabletop Namiji
This is a super chill, relaxing game! You can't really screw over other people, so you just play your own game. Cool art style and a very unique game play. We have played it with 2 and 4 players and both were fun!
0
Tabletop Great Western Trail
I played this for the first time a year ago and while I had a great strategy and won, it was not an enjoyable time. The game took wayyyyyyyyyy too long! By the end, none of us even cared who won. We were taking the quickest turns possible just to finish. Gameplay was a fun idea but timing threw it off...
0
Tabletop Twister
If I rated this game as a kid versus now, it would be very different! I still play this game periodically with my son, but man do I hate it! It's fun to see him do, but it's painful to make myself stay in those positions without touching the ground. Pure torture.
0
Tabletop Deep Dive
This is another game we found while looking for new games that could be played by 6 players. We have had a lot of fun with this one, ranging from 2-6 players. There is that component of luck (have to pick random tiles) and sometimes it seems one person is getting way more unlucky. But it's always a good time!
0
Tabletop Coup
We are always looking for easy games to play with 6 people. We won this at a gaming con this year and it's pretty fun! It's a bluffing game and very easy to learn! The only problem with games like this (and king of Tokyo) is that once someone dies, they're out for the rest of the game. Luckily the games are fairly short.
0
Tabletop Five Crowns
Five Crowns is a mainstay around here. Once we stopped playing the horrible Phase 10 game, this quickly took its place. Very similar in play style, except this game takes half the time! Still going for sets and runs, with the added twist of changing wild cards! Easy to play, great family fun!
0
Tabletop Blood Rage
I didn't hate the game, but it was not my favorite. I did give it four stars because it was a really cool looking game, I loved the minis (as a 3D printer, I love good minis). But past that, I enjoyed it but wasn't my favorite. Hence why I have my copy of the game for sale.... Haha
0
Tabletop Magic: The Gathering
My buddy got me into MTG about 5 years ago. As a kid, I played Pokémon and yugioh, but always thought MTG was super nerdy.... And then I played it for the first time and was hooked! We did a draft and that's how I got my first cards. I never realized how strategic it gets when you build decks, but some of the best decks just keep building with every card they play. My first decks were a bunch of the same colored cards thrown together haha
0
Tabletop Ark Nova
My favorite part of having friends who have board games is the fact that they have so many board games! They probably buy too many, but that's their problem.... Ark Nova is one of those games! I would never buy it because my wife would not enjoy it, but man is it fun! Fairly complex gameplay with lots of options on your turn (why the wife would not like it), but it is absolutely a blast!
0
Tabletop Heat: Pedal to the Metal
I remember seeing @ohtwotwo post about this game and needed to add it to the library. We played this game for the first time at a gaming convention two years ago, and our friend immediately went out and bought it. It is a blast to play! It's interesting to see the components of how they deal with making the cars slow down around corners and such. If you like racing, this is as solid as a board game as I have seen out there for racing!
0
Tabletop The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle Earth
Played this game at a Gaming Convention in October (my friend actually won the game at the end of the convention). I love all things LotR and this is no exception! Solid gameplay, where neither side seems over/under powered. Builds upon the lore of the movies without being too gimicky in my opinion. I played as Sauron and was able to catch him before he made it to Mount Doom. Highly recommend!
0
Tabletop Truffle Shuffle
My wife and I happened upon this game at a board game store and it was on a sale rack. We are always looking for 2 player games so we gave it a try. Very easy game play! You take turns taking truffles and trying to make sets/runs. You have to be strategic as to which truffles to take as they will open up new rows of truffles (face up and face down). And no, it has nothing to do with the Goonies...
0
Tabletop Cape May
This is a pretty fun game (We got it for Christmas, so have only played it about 4 times so far). We have played it with 4 people and 2 people, both were pretty fun. Sometimes games like this aren't as fun as a 2 person game, but this one holds up. The first time we played it, it was a lot to take in strategy wise, but pretty easy once you get going. Definitely recommend!
0
Command & Conquer: Red Alert
The command and conquer games were the best! Red Alert was the first one I played, and we had a blast with it! These are the type of KBM games I enjoyed, like AoE as well. Do these games hold up the best, maybe not. But the gameplay is still just as fun!
0
NBA Street Vol. 2
These games were the best!!! Absolutely loved building up your special and using it for the best dunks!! NFL street games were fun too, but these games were the best!
0
Potion Explosion
Not a game I like to play online, you lose the fun aspect of collecting the marbles. Yes, you still have the marble aspect but it's not the same on a screen. Very fun game in general, but find the tabletop version.
0
Tabletop Wyrmspan
I honestly like this game more than Wingspan! I feel like they shored up a few things with wingspan that I wasn't a fan of and improved upon it. The game doesn't feel as massive as the original game, which makes it much easier for beginners to play. We played it this last October at a gaming convention. Highly recommend giving this a try!
0
Tabletop Sky Team
At the moment, this is our favorite two player game! It has such interesting components. It has the randomness of dice rolling, and you have so many things you have to do as you progress, but no specific order you have to do them in. You can't share your dice, but you can strategize about what needs to be done. No two games are ever the same, especially as you progress they add in additional hazards to throw you off!
0
Tabletop The Fox in the Forest Duet
One of our favorite 2 player games to play! My wife loves cooperative games, so this was a natural choice for us! It allows you to work together, but you still have to play your own hand without talking about what cards you have. You win/lose pretty equally in this game so it's definitely not too easy! Highly recommend this one!
0
Star Wars Battlefront (2015)
The online play was very glitchy, which definitely took away from the fun. BUT the game was still a blast to play! I love all things Star Wars so playing games like this is like Nostalgia overload! It lets you relive so many great memories from your childhood, that alone made this game worth it! And made it fairly easy to overlook some of the glitchy game play.
0
LEGO Fortnite
I spent a few hours playing this game when it first came out and had a lot of fun with it! The fun wore off however, but mostly because I would rather play Fortnite than Lego Minecraft. If it's still around, I plan on playing this with Liam. It would be easy to have him just run around.
0
Ori and the Blind Forest
How have I not rated this yet!?! This game is amazing! I heard such great things, so I was afraid it was going to be a letdown... boy was I wrong!!! Not only the gameplay, but not many games storylines suck you in like this one! 100% recommend!!!
Lists: Next Up
0
Enhance
I love the concept of this game, however I don't love spending the time it takes to do it well! I'm also chasing that lucky tagline, which somehow evades me.... But the game itself is a lot of fun!
0
Lego Worlds
Im somewhere in the middle on this game. I didn't hate it, but it didn't draw me in. I love the concept of the game, just as I love Minecraft. I'm hoping to give this another try with my son, and I'm hoping I can edit my rating depending on how he likes it.
0
Tabletop Beer & Bread
By far one of our favorite two player games! In this game you earn points by baking break and brewing beer. My favorite part of the game is what makes it unique, you do not score points for all beer and bread. You only score points for the lowest of the two, so you must make sure to do both!
0
Tabletop Splendor Duel
Splendor itself can be played with two players, but this is a fun twist on the original game! It shares many similarities to the original game, such as using gems to buy cards, however you collect gems in a very different way. I highly recommend this game if you like two player games!
0
Splendor
I really enjoy this game, but playing it digitally is not as fun as playing the board game. You lose a lot of the fun in my opinion when you are not sitting at the table. The gameplay itself is still solid, so if you like digital board games then you will like this one as well.
0
Tabletop Sushi Go!
Really fun little party game! I snagged a copy at a garage sale for $1 having no idea what I had stumbled upon! It reminds me a lot of a cooking game that's a mobile party game, very silly artwork and gameplay. It is very much a game that gamers and non gamers alike can play together.
0
Call of Duty: World at War
Dont necessarily love the gameplay of the main game, but this is the game that brought us Zombies!! Zombies was a mainstay in my weekend gatherings with my buddies in high school. Countless hours playing those levels over and over again! Not the best zombies, but the OG!
0
Tabletop Gloomhaven
I had some friends who tried to get me into Gloomhaven. I like the idea of the game, but the sheer length of playthrough turned me off. I like to differentiate my games, same reason D&D took a backseat for me. The one thing I do love about this game is the setup and scenery of it. I used my 3D printers to make a ton of scenery and gave it all to my friend. That part is very cool!
0
Tabletop Here to Slay
I love these types of games (Unstable Unicorns, Exploding Kittens, etc). The art style is beautiful and the games are always good for a laugh. This game was no exception! It's very inviting to non gamers, however there can be strategy involved and there are a lot of different cards and abilities. But very fun game for gamers of all levels!
0
NBA 2K24
I bought this game for one reason and one reason alone, the Black Mamba. He was my hero growing up, and this was a must buy. The game itself is much the same of any 2k game, which is fine. I get bored very easily with it. But I love having the final connection to a man I looked up to for years.
0
FIFA 23
Not exactly sure, but out of all sports games, FIFA games are my favorite. The other sports games seem to get too repetitive for me, but I've never had that problem with FIFA. I don't own this game, but I play with my nephews (huge soccer fans). Naturally I get my butt kicked but it's easier to hang in these games than other sports games when there is a skill gap. That's one reason I like it so much!
0
Tabletop Connect Four
This (and tic-tac-toe) are some of our go to games at our house! They are simple and while there is strategy, you can play it without a strategy and have fun with it! My son loves it therefore I love it!
0
Tabletop King of Tokyo: Power Up!
So the expansion is pretty good, however I prefer playing the original game honestly. The added elements of the cards is a fun difference, but honestly I feel the original game doesn't need the extra twist. And the new character is not worth buying this in my opinion. Do I regret this game? No. Do I use it much? Also no.
0
Tabletop Splendor
I enjoy this game quite a bit! It's another game that could be considered a gateway game, easy for beginners to jump in and play. My aunts (mid 70s) play this game every week together. While you can play this game with two people (huge plus as the wife and I play games together a lot), there is a Splendor Duel which is worth checking out as well! Highly recommend!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
My review is a little biased because of the joy I'm getting playing through it with my son! It's been a blast so far! It's a huge switch on fighting in Zelda games, so that's taking time to get used to, but we have had fun trying different combos of echoes to fight different monsters. My main issue with the game (and I knew this would be an issue before I started the game) is sorting through all those dang echoes!!! I obviously use the same main ones, so recently used takes care of that. But dang, when I have to find a less used one, it takes a minute.... Other than that, we are having a blast with this game!

Tabletop Escape: The Curse of the Temple
Cannot recommend this game enough for a group! It is the most intense 10 minutes of gameplay you will ever have! There is a timer that counts down for you, so games never last more than 10 minutes! If you haven't tried this game, try it!
0
Tabletop The Fox in the Forest
This is a great 2 player game! It is a trick taking game where you either want to take a lot or not very many tricks. Nice, easy game for two people to play! Games take maybe 25 minutes. Highly recommend!!
0
PowerWash Simulator
One of those games that is fairly relaxing and satisfying, but I got bored very quickly. I don't play a lot of games that aren't multiplayer or very story driven, so this is not a game that I would sink tons of hours into. I will say my son would probably enjoy it.
0
Gorilla Tag
I enjoy VR, but can't do it for a long time without it messing with me. With that being said, I did not have much fun with this game. My students begged me to download this game, so I obliged. The visuals and movements just seem so awful. I played a total of two games and did not go back.
0
Classic Sudoku
Anytime a game actually helps your brain rather than just wasting time, I'm on board!!! I've used Sudoku in my classroom multiple times and will continue to do so! There are also leveled Sudokus so you can continue to challenge yourself!
0
Palworld
In one word, ehhh. I love Pokémon. Absolutely love it! So I was excited to at least give this game a try. However, I feel like this game took a lot of what I loved about Pokémon and just took it out of the game. Give me any retro Pokémon game over this.
0
Disney Speedstorm
Some people really loved this game when it first came out, talked about how fun it was. I gave it a try, mostly because I love Disney characters. However, whenever I play a game like this, it immediately gets compared to Mario Kart. And I would much rather play Mario Kart than this game. That's all you need to know.
0
Crossy Road
One of the few mobile games that I really enjoy (although don't play that much). I played this game a ton back in the day, and even used my skills to win some jackpots at Dave & Busters! Simple game but always changing. Never the same thing twice.
0
Strands
Decent little brain puzzle game. Some days are fun, other days make you want to throw your phone across the room (similar to the other games from NY times). Not my favorite of the bunch.
0
Super Mega Baseball 3
I don't own this game, but I played a few games with @malfurious last year in Chicago. I did enjoy the game, and I especially liked the leveling the game automatically does with the ego. He was much better than me, but we played a close game and I ended up winning. Most baseball games I wouldn't have stood a chance.
0
Kirby Super Star
I've actually only played this game once and that was for the Time Trial on C3 a couple of years ago. And it was an absolute blast! I remember going back and forth with @rey that week. Everytime I thought I would have him beat, he would drop a ridiculous new time....
0
Brawl Stars
Really the only knock for me is the mobile gaming aspect, something I'm not a huge fan of as I try to stay off my phone. The gameplay itself was pretty fun, honestly a game I would probably play quite a bit of if I got it on my switch.
0
Bejeweled Blitz
Another one of those mobile time wasters, which I don't need help doing.... It's fun for a bit, but there's not enough variance in future levels to keep it fun and entertaining for me. Got bored quick and deleted from my phone.
0
Tabletop Forbidden Island
A fantastic cooperative board game! We love these types of games around our house. My wife does not love super strategic board games, unless you are working together. Some cooperative board games tend to let certain people take over, but this one is not like that. Great game to play with a group, even beginners.
0
Farming Simulator 23
So we haven't bought the game yet, but have a played a small amount. But my rating is based off the ginormous amounts of YouTube videos I have watched of this game with my kid. He's obsessed. I don't think he's quite old enough to handle the game, but definitely will in the next couple of years!
0
Madden NFL 2002
I actually loved this game, mostly because of who's on the cover! I loved that team and I loved a game sporting my team on the cover! Looking back, obviously the gameplay and graphics were not great, but my brother and I played a lot of games as our Vikings!
0
Need for Speed II
I've never been of realistic racing games (Gran Turismo, etc) and I'm horrible at them, but the Need for Speed games were a little more down my alley. This was the first Need for Speed game I played (my friend had a ps2) and we had lots of fun with it!
0
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
The game itself is fine. Nothing special but not bad. But when you have Mario Kart, a game has to be great in order to compete and this one didn't. Therefore it gets 3 stars because it didn't do anything to make me want to play it again. Plus, I'm playing Sonic games to run around, not drive...
0
Kahoot!
I use Kahoot for my classroom all the time and I love it! The only knock against kahoot is when you make points based upon how fast they answer, kids tend to randomly select rather than actually figure out the problem. But other than that, great way to get people interested in whatever topic!
0
Monopoly GO!
The best part of this game? The commercials with Chris and Jason Momoa. I downloaded the game and played it for a bit during all the hype on C3. It's just another time waster, mobile app, which I don't need. It was fine, however couldn't see myself playing it over and over again.
0
The Jackbox Party Pack 8
I have only played this a few times, but had a blast the times I have! We played this in Chicago with the Mario Kart Cr3w and it was a blast! I think we will have to do it again!
0
Zynga Poker
I spent a lot of hours on this with friends back in high school. We would all get in the game together and be chatting through messenger about what cards we had. It was most definitely cheating, but hey, we had a good time doing it!
0
Block Blast
Again, another game that I just don't quite get the hype over... My students were in love with this game and got me to download it. I played a few games, it was fine. Definitely a solid time waster that involves at least a bit of thinking, but definitely not one I spend much time on. I think I've played a total of 5 games of it.
0
Tabletop 7 Wonders Duel
This is not my favorite two player game, but we have had some fun with it. It keeps similarities to 7 wonders (collecting cards as resources, buildings, etc.), but it is done in a different way. Cards are laid out in a pyramid like shape and you take turns grabbing available cards. This can lead to certain "overpowered" cards ending up all in one person's control. However still a fun two player game!
0
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0
I loved Warzone. Absolutely loved it! We had our squad that played together probably 4 times per week. Then the game just got broken and we got wrecked by sweats night after night. Warzone 2.0 came out and we decided to jump back in. In my opinion, they made it worse. It just didn't feel the same.
0
Tabletop 7 Wonders
First time I played this game, we got through half a round before I even realized we were playing! Putting that aside, very fun game! Very unique game style where you pass cards around and select which ones you want. Very fun game, as long as you enjoy that type of play style that is heavily related to what people pass or play from the cards.
0
Vampire Survivors
I was excited to try this because it got all sorts of hype. I was disappointed. Not necessarily because the game lacks anything, but it's just not my style of game. Games like this (and most mobile games) just don't do it for me. I don't just want time wasters, if I did, I would just scroll on social media. So not my type of game, but I know a lot that love it!
0
Diablo III
I will start by saying Diablo is not necessarily my type of game. Too much just hack and slash type of game. However, I did play a little bit with a friend of mine and it was a fairly sit back and chill type of experience. I didn't hate it! I've played a few times since, never going to be an everyday type of game but I'll pick it up from time to time.
0
Tabletop Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle - The Monster Box of Monsters Expansion
First and foremost, this expansion brought me my favorite character in this game, Luna Lovegood! When I play games like this, I love the ability to draw extra cards which is what she can do. It also took already existing villains and made them more difficult. Great expansion!
0
Mortal Kombat
I've never been a huge fan of fighting games, however this one was enjoyed by myself as it was one of the first games I played with my cousin. I sucked at it, don't understand any of the combos some people can do, and I would just mash buttons. But it was always good for a good time.
0
MLB The Show 24
I debated on this one. Did I have fun playing this the one time I've played? Yes. Is it a game I would buy? No. It's a very fun game and graphics were very good as well, but as with other sports games it's too repetitive for my taste. I will say, I haven't had this much fun playing a baseball game since the Ken Griffey days!
0
Tabletop Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power
Found this game very cheap on sale and picked up, k owing I did not extremely love the original villainous that I played. Should've stuck with my gut... This version is plagued with the same problems as others, very uneven and unfair winning conditions. Some characters realistically have games where they have zero shot at winning based upon how the cards come out (ex: infinity stones). Worst game I've ever played? No. Do we still play it? Also no. Save your time and money.
0
Tabletop Dominion
This was one of my first board games (along with settlers of catan). It was my gateway game and I played countless hours of this game with my brother and dad. One component that I'm not a fan of is you have to have certain cards to be able to play more cards, which is unlike other common deck builder games. A very fun game, especially for people new to board games.
0
Madden NFL 23
I remember playing this game with a friend at his house. I was the Vikings and he was the Chiefs. The game did not go well for me.... I've always enjoyed the Madden games, but I get bored quickly with them. This one was more of the same. Updated graphics, but just a Madden game.
0
Geometry Dash
I absolutely love this game! In order to beat the levels, it requires replaying the levels over and over and over again! It reminds me a lot of doing Time Trials. When you finally beat that level, it feels so great!
0
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
I absolutely loved the first game in this series! So naturally, I went right on to the second one! I will say, it feels very different. Personally, I don't love the different abilities that you have to switch back and forth between. The different menus and having to get used to using so many different abilities added a component that I honestly would rather do without. Still a very solid game, but I enjoyed the first more.
0
Tabletop Dungeon Kart
I am willing to play this game again and am open to changing my initial rating, however my first play-through fell short of expectations. Movement seemed slow and clunky, and the items didn't seem to affect the game that much. Will definitely do a different dungeon setup next time.
0
Tabletop Power Grid
I've played this game twice, and I really enjoyed it both times! The reason I knock it a star is because it definitely is difficult to learn as a beginner. Once you learn how to play, it's still a fairly long game, but very enjoyable!
0
Tabletop Disney Villainous: The Worst Takes it All
I want to love the Villainous games, I really do! However, one of the comments that makes it intriguing (everyone has different tasks to win) also is what makes it not fun in my opinion. It always seems at least one character has an easier path than others. Characters don't seem to match up fairly.
0
Tabletop Dungeons & Dragons
Dungeons and Dragons is a great time if you have the right Cr3w! The more you get into your role, the more fun you will have! My one k I don't know against it is it requires so much time every session (versus other board games take maybe 1-2 hours) and it requires more focus versus being able to chat while playing. Other than that, always had a fun time!
0
F-ZERO 99
Never really got into this one. Played the original FZero way back in the day, but not a whole lot. Played a few games of this, couldn't quite get it down, and just let it go. Not a bad game, but just not my cup of tea.
0
PAC-MAN 256
The game is an interesting twist on a retro class, however the classic is much better! It is fun to try and get to the 256, but it is extremely difficult to do because of all the breaks in dots. Not a huge fan of how little of the map you can see while you are playing, but definitely worth a little time waster.
0
Tabletop King of Tokyo
We love this game at our house! I love how simple it is, so adults and kids can play together! It can be played by 6 people, which is a huge plus! My only knock, which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is that you can get knocked out very early on and have to sit and watch the rest of the game. Luckily they are fairly short games, but I have had to sit and watch a game for over 20 minutes. Other than that component, I cannot recommend this game enough!
0
Tabletop Everdell
Absolutely love this board game! My only knock is how expensive it is, so I haven't decided to buy it yet.... But this is one of our favorite games to play with our friends! We love the fact that beginners can play this game (no strategy needed) but there is definitely a place for strategy (using combo cards to get free plays/replace lower point level cards). No two games are ever the same and a lot of fun! There is also an Everdell Jr game as well for younger kids.
0
Tabletop Monopoly (Boardgame)
The game is not as bad as some people say, but this that being said I no longer play it.... Loved it as a kid! My dad, brother, and I made additional money so that we could have longer games. We had additional rules (gotta get $500 for snake eyes and free parking). A lot of times we dealt out properties to speed up the beginning of the game. Even with additional rules, it just takes too long. I prefer the similar board game The Farming Game!
0
Tabletop DinoGenics
Played this game with @jedijohann in Chicago two years ago, and it was an absolute blast! It was the second dinosaur game I had played and both were extremely different and tons of fun! Definitely alot going on (especially with the expansions) so not extremely easy for beginners, but we had a blast playing!
0
Tabletop Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle
One of my all time favorite games! I absolutely love everything Harry Potter! Movies, books, everything! Our favorite part of this game is the fact that it's cooperative, so all levels of game players can enjoy this one together!

Tabletop Catan
I tried to not let my recency bias affect my rating for this game. I used to love this game, but some of the main mechanics have worn on me. The beginning randomness of choosing your spots on resources can screw you over before the game has started. The dice rolls to determine resource distribution add a fun, but also frustrating component.
0
Tabletop Wingspan
Very solid game! My biggest knock against this game is there are quite a few rules/ways to earn points to learn, so can seem overwhelming to beginners. However, even beginners can have fun with this game. Just looking at the different bird cards alone is worth playing the game.
0
Bloons TD 6
One of the best time waster games out there! Probably my favorite mobile game of all time. Lots of different modes, and endless fun! Some really ridiculous combos to try out! And there is definitely strategy with different types of balloons (metal, camo, etc). Gotta get that super monkey though!
0
Rocket Racing
I played it for a bit when it first came out, but never quite got sucked in. It was fine, didn't love all the controls and I felt there were better racing games out there. But it's hard to knock it too much because it is free.
0
Tony Hawk's Underground
I got this game back on the GameCube I think ($5 when Hollywood video went out of business). Solid game, but for me personally the N64 was the perfect Tony Hawk games. Nothing could top that for me.
0
Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?
One of the few video games we had early on and my dad would play with us. We would sit around the computer and just play for hours. It forced logical reasoning and also gave you fun historical facts as you went along! Loved it!
0
Saints Row 2
I've never been a huge fan of this style of game (GTA, Saints Row, etc). The one aspect I enjoyed was stealing cars and driving around. That's about it. So was this game alright? Sure. But all I did was drive cars around.
0
Retro Bowl
It's fine as a time waster, but the fun is just not there for me. Even watching students play it, they seem to be mindlessly playing it and not having tons of fun. There is definitely a little bit of skill with it, but not for me.
0
EA Sports Madden NFL 25
I use to love sports games, but more recently I get bored with most of them. Madden is the same. Madden is fun to play periodically with a friend, but not a game I would go out and buy. It also seems that every Madden game is about the same as the previous year...
0
GeoGuessr
Solid game, most of my experience has been watching people play it on stream. Most of them, I'm fully convinced are cheating. No way they know the things they do.... Regardless, I get bored quickly with it but it is a cool concept.
0
Tabletop Pandemic
I love cooperative games, so I enjoyed this game early on! However, my knock against this game is that it's way too easy for one person to take over and start telling others the best thing for them to do. It becomes less cooperative and more solo player... That person usually being me, so I try to stay away from this type of game.
0
Tabletop Chess
Chess is a great game, for beginners and experts alike! I started playing chess when I was in the 6-8 range. Did I learn all the best strategies? No. But did I learn how to reason logically and plan ahead? Absolutely! I love that you can play this game so easily online with Chess.com, which I have done many times with students in my classroom. I can't wait to teach this to my son (we have done checkers so far, which he caught on quick!)!
0
Tabletop Ticket to Ride
So my review will be biased based off of my last experience with the game... The game itself is a solid strategy and placement game. Very enjoyable gameplay of collecting cards to create your path across the board. The last time I played, I won and was met with a group of sore losers which soured me on the game.... Maybe one day I'll try again.
0
Tabletop Carcassonne
I played several of the expansions before I played the original, and I like the original the best so far! Very basic gameplay, which allows gamers of all skill levels to enjoy the game. My main knock against the game is that the randomness of drawing tiles can lead to certain players getting advantages in points. Other than that, very enjoyable gameplay for everyone!
0
Tabletop Azul
We love this game! Pretty simple gameplay so anyone can pick it up and play, but enough strategy that more strategic players can enjoy it too. Very simple tile placement game.
0
Five Nights at Freddy's
I wanted to love this game, but just couldn't get into it. I also have the VR version. It felt like I was doing too much just standing around. I like the concept, and I loved the most recent movie. The games fell flat for me.
0
Tabletop Codenames
Extremely solid party game! Personally, I love giving clues! It's not for everyone though. Good news is if you don't like giving clues, you can still have a blast trying to guess and talking it out with your team. Personally, I think you need a minimum of 6 people to play this game. Way more fun guessing if you have at least one partner to guess with you.

Where in the U.S.A. Is Carmen Sandiego?
This was my childhood. My dad, brother, and I would sit around the computer playing this together. Not as fun as World, but USA was a very fun game. Required logic and you actually learned facts about the world as you played. Plan on getting these games for my son as he gets older!
0
LittleBigPlanet
First got this back in college on my PS3 (free game because PlayStation got hacked). It's a silly game, but was a nice relaxing way to waste some time. Fun little tasks and fun to play online with other people.
0
Tabletop Catan
I tried to not let my recency bias affect my rating for this game. I used to love this game, but some of the main mechanics have worn on me. The beginning randomness of choosing your spots on resources can screw you over before the game has started. The dice rolls to determine resource distribution add a fun, but also frustrating component.
0
Tabletop Sorry
Solid family game to play with younger kids. Sorrys and knocking people off create enough drama to get some laughs, also makes revenge knockoffs so much better!
0
Tabletop Spirit Island
This is a very complex game. The first time we played it, it took us about 3 hours with setup. The next time wasn't as bad, but it's a significant time commitment and complex set of rules.
0
Uno (2016)
Very basic game that gets a little boring and long sometimes, but I have a renewed interest in it because my son loves playing it. It's helped him continue growing his ability to recognize numbers, so that's a huge plus!
0
2048
I love this game! I love logic games like this, even to the point I would let kids play this in my classroom. Definitely strategy to this game, which adds a layer to it! Choose a corner and stick with it...

Channel 3 (the game)
This game is the absolute best! It has brought so many people into my life that are now some of my best friends! Looking forward to the future! Oh wait, Channel 3 is the future!
0
Cake Bash
Played this game for the first time this week! We had a blast with it! Easy enough that my 4 year old could "play", but complex enough that the adults were enjoying it too! Lots of unique mini games to choose from!
0
Splatoon 3
The game is a lot of fun! I've enjoyed playing all of them throughout the years, but I never buy the game. Until they add local multiplayer, I won't buy it... Update, C3 got me to buy it and it was a great decision!! Still not a game I would play solely by myself, but with this Cr3w it's been a blast!
0
Target
Target is a lot of fun to play! My only knock is that I use C3 almost exclusively on mobile, which makes it very hard to select specific points without fat fingering it. But really fun concept with an ever growing list of games!
0
Roblox
I have played a couple of times long ago but refuse to play again. My middle school students are obsessed but I hate it, mostly due to how the online features have been used to the detriment of kids. The game just feels like a bad thing waiting to happen. I stick to Minecraft.
0
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Okay, changing my review slightly here. I've had chances to play this game again and I still just don't love it. I don't love the viewpoint of these games. 3D Zelda games are what I grew up on so playing these just doesn't feel like Zelda.
0
Stardew Valley
As I write this, I'm reminded that I need to go play more of this. It's such a relaxing game!
0
Rocket League
Have only played a handful of times, but enjoyed it! Fairly big learning curve led me to get my butt kicked, but still enjoyed the mechanics.
0
Ticket To Ride
My rating is definitely a little jaded. I enjoyed the game the first few times I played it. Fun mechanics, definitely strategy involved. I had a very bad experience playing with some people that led me to never playing the game again. So here we are... Fun game, but much more fun games out there.
0
Super Mega Baseball 4
I'll preface this review by saying I've only played two games of this. I had fun playing with a friend, but it didn't do enough to bring me back. It was a little clunky/glitchy. The ego system is nice where you can even the playing field with more experienced players, however it was a game I could see myself playing every once in awhile but not very often. It just didn't wow me.
0
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Extremely solid game that takes me back in time! Halo LAN parties were my childhood, so getting some buddies together to play this together was a blast from the past! If you played the original halos, you won't be disappointed.
0
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Still undecided on how I feel about the game overall. It's not exactly my cup of tea for a Mario game, but it was pretty fun to play with a friend. What I played felt fairly easy, but I'm sure it gets harder. Might pick it up down the road or borrow from a friend.
0
Fortnite Festival
Loved Guitar Hero growing up, so was pretty excited for this! Was not disappointed by it, although definitely not the same playing with a controller or keyboard. If I can get my hands on a guitar, it will be a 5 star.
0
Inside
This game was incredible! I went in knowing absolutely nothing about it. The whole game is just filled with puzzles, which I love! Some parts were very difficult, and that ending.... The only know is I wish it was longer!
0
PAW Patrol: On a Roll
Best starter game out there, hands down! Easy enough for my 4 year old to 100% all on his own! Love it!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Sometimes, I think 5 star reviews get thrown around too freely. This is not one of those cases! This game is amazing! The sheer size of the map you need to explore is overwhelming, in a good way. You can go explore for hours without touching a single quest! You do not have to like Zelda games to find enjoyment in this game!
0
Words On Stream
I really enjoy it. I like games like this (Boggle). If you don’t mind having to think, try this out!
0
Hop
Interesting little time waster. You will be bombarded with ads.
0
Dig Dug II
Doesn’t capture the same fun as the first one, so it’s just okay. Pretty simple gameplay.
0
Candy Crush Saga
Good time waster, but is very repetitive.
0
Marvel Snap
Really fun and addicting game. Too addicting. I was wasting too much time on it so I had to delete.
0
Pac-Man 99
Really fun game! I like these BR takes on arcade games, but they're not as fun as the actual games.
0
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
First Dragonball Z game I every played actually. There were fun parts, but very underwhelming in my opinion.
0
007: The World Is Not Enough
It's not Goldeneye. That's it. Solid game and had a lot of fun with the multiplayer, but it just wasn't Goldeneye.
0
Need for Speed: Underground
I was never super into racing games, outside of Mario Kart, but this game was fun to play. I sucked at it, but very fun to be able to drive around. Great music as well!
0
Exploding Kittens
Really fun game, but the card game is much better! Multiple expansions you can get and a great game to sit down and play with the family! The artwork and silly cards are worth it by themselves!
0
Mario Power Tennis
Great gameplay! I've always loved the Mario Tennis games, especially the older ones! Can be lots of fun, even for those who aren't good at the game!
0
Overwatch 2
Pretty fun, but steep learning curve.
0
Kirby's Dream Land
This was my first introduction to Kirby. It's an alright game, but I much would rather play as Kirby in Smash Bros than play this game again...
0
Super Mario All-Stars
As close to perfect as a game can be! I have this game on the Wii as well, but the original compilation is perfection.
0
Microsoft Solitaire
Loved the game, especially that there were varying levels of difficulty. But everyone’s favorite part was watching the cards once you win.
0
The Jackbox Party Pack 6
Really fun game if you have the right group of people! I would highly recommend playing this if you haven't before!
0
The Jackbox Party Pack 3
Same as the other reviews. Fun additions to the franchise!
0
Crash Team Racing
Ehhh. Was a fun little game, but significantly less fun than Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing.
0
Civilization VI
I’ll be honest, it was not my favorite. Might just me being stupid, but wish it was simpler.
0
X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
Really fun game if you like X-Men. Not as good as some of the other X-Men games, but still a fun play!
0
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade
Really fun game! Loved the FE games on Gameboy, as that was the only system I had to myself at the time. Pretty simple to learn, but a blast to play!
0
Final Fantasy VIII
Decent game, just rough to follow up VII. Not a game I would go out of my way to go play again.
0
The Binding of Isaac
Interesting game. Originally, I wanted nothing to do with this game, but a friend recommended it. Fun, little game with cool animations.
0
Multiversus
A lot of fun to play as my favorite cartoon characters, but honestly feels like a cheap smash bros knock off.
0
Super Punch-Out!!
One of those games that is still fun and challenging to go back and replay!
0
Kingdom Hearts III
I was so excited for this game. So underwhelmed… honestly quit about halfway through because I found it so boring
0

A lot of fun to play. Gets extremely challenging the further you go.
0

Best game of all time? No. But a solid Star Wars game with some challenging levels.
0

0
Frogger (1981)
Great game! I love everything Frogger! Simple, but addictive gameplay!
0
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Absolutely love this game! Still go back and play it, although the Switch version is crazy good too! Nothing better than drinking a pint with some friends and then preparing for the chaos!
0
Wii Play
Lots of fun little mini games to play here. Loved the ping pong!
0
Angry Birds
Very fun time waster! Definitely gets boring after awhile, but lots of challenging levels!
0
Civilization Revolution
This was my first civ game. Lots of fun!
0
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
I didn’t own a PlayStation growing up, so I only played at friends’ houses, but we had a lot of fun with it. I always felt it was a knockoff Mario…
0
Trivia
What more could you want in a game? Is it overwhelming having all those choices? Yes. Am I learning a ton of new things about games I've never played before? Yes. It's a blast!

0
1942
We tried playing this one and could never quite figure it out.

This was a really fun storyline! Easy to sink in countless hours in this game, but also very rewarding as you see the progress you make!
0

Pretty similar review to the first one. It was just alright. I never really got the gimmick of riding all the animals. That’s not the reason I play this game. Still a nice, relaxing game. Just some unneeded additions.
0

Eh, it was just alright. The wii games were not my favorite, but still a fairly solid storyline.

0
Destiny 2

0
Duke Nukem II
I love these older arcade games. I still feel this is the pinnacle of gaming. I would choose to play these types of games over a lot of newer ones.
0
Gauntlet 2014
If I’m honest, I prefer the older versions better. It plays best in that arcade style.
0
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Another game I went back and tried to play later on. After playing newer games, this just felt like a chore. Probably mostly due to the graphics.
0
Banjo-Kazooie
I was never a huge fan of this game. It came out in a time where I readily had Mario and Sonic games. Those games were much better in my opinion so this felt like a letdown.
0
1080° Avalanche
Gave it a try and it was fun. But wasn’t as fun as SSX, especially the arcade type feel those games have. I stuck to SSX games.

One of the first snowboarding games I played. It was fun, but quickly ditched it for SSX.

0

This is one in the series I almost skipped altogether. I played it a bit, but was not nearly as good as the others.

0
F-Zero: GP Legend
Fun game, but definitely not as fun on the handheld for me.
0
Paper Mario: The Origami King
Really enjoyed this game! The battling component was slightly annoying at times, but the gameplay was just as good as past games!
0
F-Zero X
Probably my favorite in the series. Still not as fun as the Mario Kart racing games, but fun in its own right.
0
SSX (2012)
Decent game worth a play back in the day, however it doesn’t hold up enough to still play it. Again, go back to tricky.
0
SSX (2000)
Fun game! Once you play tricky though, you have no need to play this!

Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest
This right here is the pinnacle of Baseball games! I loved the mechanics. The pitch control. The batting circles. It was amazing.
0
Full Tilt! Pinball
Second best pinball game, only second to Sonic Spinball! But this definitely the best pure pinball game, and we all spent countless hours playing this game.
0
The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants
It was fun because it was similar to the other Simpsons games. But there were a lot of problems with it. The game mechanics were not as good as the original.

0
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon
Again fun games, but fall short of recreating the Pokémon magic for myself.
0
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
Definitely some cool nostalgia pieces, but I would have rather just had remakes… I hated the missing components that make Pokémon games Pokémon games…
0
Goat Simulator
Fun little game, but you lose interest quickly.
0
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2
Same review as the others from this Gen. Very fun games, but just not the same magic as previous games.

0
Pokémon Sun and Moon

My favorite DS game of all time! This was still in the height of Pokémon games!
0
Cruis'n World
Hands down my favorite racing game of all time! Loved the customization options on your car as you grew levels. Sardine Extreme was the best car. Period.
0
Fallout 76
Did not enjoy this game. One of my least favorite in the series forsure.
0
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
The Prime games just didn’t do it for me, not as good as the 2D games. I like that they added multiplayer, but that left a lot to be desired as well.
0
Star Wars: Battlefront (2004)
This game is fun simply because of the Star Wars aspect. I love playing as the different characters.
0
Blitz: The League II
Still a fun take on a football game with some added fun. Still not as good as that original games!
0
Metroid II: Return of Samus
Really fun game. Not as good as later installments, but it’s a classic! Love the side scrollers.

One of the more fun co-op games I played growing up! It was a blast!

The hype around this game was crazy! And the disappoint was real…

0

0
Golf
This was a solid game. Not too complex, but a lot of fun!
0
Tekken 3
I spent a lot of time between Tekken and Street Fighter games. This was a very fun game, although I’ve always been a button masher.
0
Game Builder Garage
It was kind of fun to edit the games, but overall it was not the best. Got bored pretty quickly with this one.
0
Skate 3

0
Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
Strong continuation from the previous game!
0
Rampage Puzzle Attack
It was a pretty fun game. But I really don’t love all the series that added Puzzle Games to their line. They’re kind of a let down.
0
Lego Marvel's Avengers
Solid game to check out! Not the best Lego game, but still had fun with it!
0
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This game turned me off when I was younger because of the sheer difficulty. The levels were too hard and it sucked the fun out of it.
0
Lego Rock Band
It was kind a cool little collaboration game.
0
Cyberpunk 2077
I didn’t have issues with bugs and glitches, but the game still just felt like it was lacking. It looked really awesome though!
0
Adventure
This was another game that was referenced in RP1. I went back and played it after. It was a blast simply to play it after reading about it!
0
Gauntlet IV
Four players hacking and slashing through dungeons. Guaranteed good time!
0
Gauntlet III: The Final Quest
My friends had this downloaded and we played it a little bit. It was still fun, but it’s only two player which was a big knock from previous games. Also I’m more of a fan of the top down view.
0
Gauntlet II
Great game! Highly recommend playing this with a couple of your friends! Not super easy, but not super hard. You will have so much fun with it!
0
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
It was years later that I found out this existed! This was the actual SMB 2 and I love it! SMB2 was always a good game, but it felt like an out of place game in a series. That’s because it was! If you haven’t played this, you need to!
0
Galaxian
This game was the slightly less fun Galaga. But still fun!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Fun game, but still before the peak of Zelda. I’m not a huge fan of the older Zelda games.
0
Batman: The Video Game (NES)
Had a lot of fun back in the day! Most of these types of games felt like the same game, just different costumes and scenes. But they were all fun!
0
NHL Hitz 2003
Really fun hockey game. I always felt this was like the NBA Jam of hockey games. Lots of fun, little weird aspects of this game that made it fun.
0
Quest 64
This game was a solid meh for me. I played it and enjoyed it, but haven’t gone back and touched it again. Still have my copy.
0
Gran Turismo 7
This is one of those games I did not enjoy and I sucked at, but I still recognize it’s a solid game. Played this twice with a friend of mine. Spent more time spinning out than anything…
0
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
This is more what I look for with Fire Emblem games! I love the strategy aspect of it! Not the most challenging game, but a lot of fun!
0
Fire Emblem Warriors
Great Hack and slash game. Not usually what I want out of a Fire Emblem game, but I really enjoyed it.
0
Mega Man Soccer
It’s not a bad game, but it’s not Megaman… never really wanted MegaMan Soccer, not sure anyone did…
0
Secret of Mana
I never played this game until the switch, but it’s an awesome little game!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes
So the multiplayer aspect is a fun idea, but tough to pull off in a game like Zelda… I think there are ways to make this work nowadays and I hope they try again.
0
Link's Crossbow Training
The game mechanics were kind of fun. But the game overall left me just wanting to play an actual Zelda game.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
This is one of those games where if you love Lego games, then you’ll love this. So much fun reliving my childhood favorite movies.
0
Rampage 2: Universal Tour
Really fun game growing up. We always loved the aspect of being able to destroy the buildings. Good break from being the good guy in video games.
0
Rampage World Tour
Solid game on consoles, but it was so much better at the arcade!
0
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Great game! Some people knock it for being a “remake”, but it’s a solid game that you will enjoy playing. Huge upgrades from previous games that make it so much fun to play!
0
Battalion Wars
Fun little game on the GC. Definitely doesn’t stack up to other GC games, so didn’t spend too much time on it. But it was always a good time.
0
Final Fantasy X
One of the last peak FF games in my opinion. Solid story and the graphics were a huge upgrade from previous games! Definitely need to play 6-10!
0
R.B.I. Baseball
Fun baseball game back in the day! When sports games began to look more like sports games, rather than dots on a screen.
0
Final Fantasy IX
Solid addition to the franchise that you should definitely play! Nothing groundbreaking, but more of the same!
0
Super Meat Boy
This is definitely one of those games where you hate and love it at the same time. If you don’t like getting super frustrated while gaming, stay clear. Also, git gud.
0
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
I actually enjoyed this more than a lot of the other AC games, probably because it didn’t feel like an AC game. It was more open world than sneak around assassinating. But I enjoyed it a lot!
0
Horizon Forbidden West
The first one was great and this one does not disappoint. More open world=better!
0
Horizon Zero Dawn
Such a beautiful game! There are some minor issues with game mechanics, but overall the game is fantastic! Sony knows how to make exclusives.
0
PGA Tour 2k21
I think I’m just biased because of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005. Every golf game since has felt like a letdown.
0
American Truck Simulator
Such a relaxing game! Is it the most fun I’ve had playing video games? No. Did I enjoy every second of it? Yes. Definitely worth a go for a nice, relaxing play.
0
10-Yard Fight
This might have been my favorite football game for the NES. It was way more fun than my John Elway game…. It was super simple, but still lots of fun! It did get fairly repetitive after awhile.
0
NBA 2k22
The gameplay is really fun! They did a great job with this game! My problem is with sports games in general. Once I’ve played this for awhile, I get bored. Same thing over and over.
0
Lego Marvel Superheroes
For myself, I enjoyed this game a lot. I love all things Marvel and Legos so this is a good fit. I think I will enjoy this game a lot more as I start playing with my son.
0
Guitar Hero: Van Halen
Still a Guitar Hero game, but not as good as the regular games. Not a fan of these editions.

Guitar Hero: Metallica
There were some great songs, but I was much more of a fan of the regular games. Wasn’t a huge fan of these editions.

Top Gun
I’ll be honest, I didn’t like this game that much. But my brother was older and he chose the games at my uncles house. He chose this game. And it was pretty awesome.
0
Mega Man Battle Network 6
This was one of those games where the series went a little too long. Not a bad game, but it’s lost its luster. They also messed with the mechanics a bit too luch
0
Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge
I did enjoy this game. But the Battle Chip component was not the best in this game. The battling in previous games was a lot of fun, this just felt like work…
0
Mega Man Network Transmission
This game got mixed reviews, but I loved it! As with its predecessors on GBA, I love the Battle Chip component! It’s so much fun!
0
Mega Man Battle Network 2
This is the ultimate if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Great game!
0
Mega Man Battle Network
This. This game was my favorite of the series! I loved the aspect of controlling both characters. I have gone back and played this game many times on emulators!
0
Mass Effect 3
This is not a bad game, but personally it was a letdown after 2. The end is interesting. Not sure I’m a fan of the different alternatives.
0
Mass Effect
It was alright. It led to some better games but I would personally skip this one in the series.
0
Old School RuneScape
I actually did not play this game until I was in college. I thought it looked ridiculous, but a friend was telling me how he still logged in and played. Definitely wasn’t my favorite game, but man was it addicting. I can see where people spent countless hours on this game.
0
Halo 5: Guardians
Nope. Game had lost its shine. Played a few times with friends, but the Halo of old sadly was gone…
0
Halo 3: ODST
I feel like the game had started it’s descent at this point. Still a fun game, but I was quickly losing interest of the same old thing.
0
Scott Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game
I only played this game because I saw the movie. A fun little game, but I didn’t spend too much time on it.
0
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
Never bought into the hype. It was fun, but I lost interest quickly.
0
Yoshi
It was a fun twist on the common puzzle games. But the shine wore off quickly and it was an average game at best.
0
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Talk about a challenging game growing up. I think I was a little too young when I attempted this for the first time. Never really went back to it.
0
Guitar Hero World Tour
Another great game in the series! Cool aspect, that I didn’t use often, was the ability to download new songs and custom songs. We never did custom songs, but we did download some newer songs!
0
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
I loved the addition of Online Multiplayer, which is where I spent most of the time! Career mode was good, but I enjoyed the competition aspect.
0
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
One of the series that I wasn’t a big fan of. Too short and wasn’t a huge fan of the music.
0
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
This was a really well done remake! Don’t go in expecting a normal Pokémon game if you haven’t played this series before, but it’s still fun to use/see all the different Pokémon.
0
Caveman Games (Ugh-lympics)
If you haven’t ever played this, you are missing out! I literally didn’t understand half of the game and it was still amazing! You need to check this game out!
0
Track & Field
Second NES game I ever played! While I could not figure out all of the events, it was so much fun!
0
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
I love the Paper Mario games so I loved this crossover! It was like the Multiverse before the Multiverse became a thing! It was a lot of fun using the different characters and having the two series combine!
0
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Really fun game! The addition of Luigi’s Dreams made this an interesting game! It was kind of fun to jump back and forth between the two!
0
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
This was a fun little game! Not my favorite of the series, but it was kind of fun working together with Bowser! The turn based battle was still good and the game had lots of funny moments. I was never a huge fan of the touch screen components so that’s a slight knock for me.
0
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Great follow game! They kept the fun aspects of the game, but added in characters that make you use their different strengths and abilities. Really fun game! Definitely recommend this series!
0
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
This was my first Mario and Luigi game and it got me hooked! The storyline is great and the gameplay is so much fun! I love the turn based battles and there are so many options for attacks. Plus there are tons of little side missions you can do to make the duo stronger. Great game!
0
Metroid Prime
I did not play this right when it came out, but played it years later. I really hated it. The gameplay felt clunky and I could not get into it. I grew up playing the 2D Metroid games, and this just felt weird.
0
Kingdom Hearts II
These games seem to have a cult following. I am not apart of that cult. I just couldn’t get into the game as much as I tried. The game mechanics were meh in my opinion and the gameplay left me wanting more.
0
Street Fighter II
I was never big into fighting games, probably mostly due to the fact that I was a button masher. I could never figure these types of games out. Still a blast despite the fact that I sucked at them.
0
Tekken 2
Does the game hold up today? No. But they made huge improvements from the first one that made this game very fun back in the day.
0
Destiny
What I loved about this game was it was so different. The online multiplayer was fantastic, even if I did suck at it.
0
Mario Super Sluggers
This game. I loved this game! I feel like Mario sports games peaked during the GC and Wii era. Update this game and bring it to the switch!
0
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
I put off playing this game for so long because I thought it was a game where you just walk around filling up a map. I was wrong and this game is incredible!
0
Tomb Raider (2013)
I thought this was a great reboot and I loved the game. The mechanics are great and I was always a sucker for Lara Croft.
0
Guitar Hero 5
It’s crazy how many of these games they cranked out for this system. While they will never recapture the perfection as the first few, all of these games are solid and worth a play.
0
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
I rate this the same as the movie, a solid meh. Not mad I played it, will never play it again.
0
Guitar Hero
This is the game that made the PS2. Incredible game! I may not be able to play a real guitar, but you will never feel cooler than shredding in this game.
0
DJ Hero 2
Improvements were made. Still not very fun.
0
DJ Hero
No. For me, this game is very niche. And that niche is very very small… not very fun.
0
Red Dead Redemption
Fantastic game! One of the best open world games!
0
Batman: Arkham Knight
I was so pumped for this game after the first two, but it was a letdown. The new mechanics were glitchy.
0
Mario Kart DS
This gets a similar rating as the GBA game. It was a fun game, but to me these games are meant for consoles.
0
Mario Kart 7
This gets 5 stars simply because of the advancements it brought us. The new vehicle customizations has changed the Mario Kart Series.
0
Super Mario Bros. 35
I love this game! It can be slightly annoying at times trying to focus on the different tasks, but it was a blast!
0
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
I had a ton of fun with this game! Far from the best in the series, but it was a solid game!
0
Chess.com
Really fun! The one thing that pisses me off is that you can completely outplay the other player and “win” but it ends in a draw…
0
Pokkén Tournament
Really fun game! I thought I would enjoy it more because it’s Pokémon, but it was a let down in that regard. It left me wanting to play Pokémon.
0
Pong
Groundbreaking at the time! I would still play this now as it’s a nice and easy relaxing game.
0
Mario Kart Wii
Actually one of my least favorite of the series. I hated the motion controls, so whenever I played it I just used GC controllers anyway.
0
Tekken
Not only did this game spawn a great series, it helped lead to some other great games as well! Many games borrowed their styles from this series.
0
Green Day: Rock Band
I actually enjoyed this more than the previous installments. Because who doesn’t love a little Green Day!
0
Rock Band 4
Really fun game and worth a play! Definitely fun to play with a group!

0
Half-Life 2
Easily top five Vr games I’ve ever played!

A great addition to the series! Definitely worth a play! If you haven’t played these, it would be worth a shot! I’m guessing they don’t hold up as well, but it’s a fun spin on sports games.
0
Backyard Baseball
This game was amazing. It was also inclusive, as you had a kid in a wheelchair out there playing with the best of them. Hands down my favorite sports games growing up.
0
Backyard Basketball
Another solid addition to the series! Wasn’t as fun as football for me, but I must say it again… Pablo.
0
Backyard Football
Probably my favorite if the franchise! Again a super simple game, but that’s what made it fun! And again, Pablo.
0
Backyard Soccer
The backyard games were so much fun! They had very simple game mechanics, but that’s what made them so much fun! You better be picking Pablo every stinking time.
0
Pole Position
First racing game I ever played, and is probably the reason I hate all racing games…. Everything makes you crash… but dang if I didn’t keep playing it!
0
Superhot
Probably my second favorite VR game. Great puzzle game that really makes you slow down and think.
0
Dreadhalls
Absolutely love this game! Best VR horror game I’ve played. It will freak you out, no matter how many times you’ve played it! You have no weapons. You have a lamp for light and you can run. And trust me, you will run.
0
Gauntlet
In high school, my friends and I played this on our PS3. We would stay up all night and didn’t shut the machine off as you couldn’t save. We grinded hard to get to the end, which we thought was level 100. We finally beat level 100, which got us to level 101… One of the best 4 player hack and slashes I’ve played!
0
Galaga
This game was an instant classic! It has been released on so many different systems but the game remains the same! If you like video games, there’s no way you haven’t played this game…
0
Forza Horizon 5
Compared to other racing games I’ve played, it was fun. But racing games still aren’t that fun for me. I just feel the learning curve is just too high…

I really enjoyed this game! The Lego games are not super challenging, but I love playing through some of my favorite movies!
0
The Lion King
I never played the original one, but the remake was a blast! People always talked about this game so I had to give it a go! Not disappointed!
0
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Very fun Zelda title! My only knock against these games, are that having them handheld only makes it hard for more people to play them. I wish they were on console.
0
RuneScape
Talk about a game that has lasted. It was fun when it came out and it’s still fun today. The sheer amount of things to do!
0
Command & Conquer
This game was the start of a great series! The later games are much better, but this was a lot of fun in its own right!
0
Twisted Metal 2
They need to remake this game! The premise of the game is so fun, it would be a blast with updated graphics!
0
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I did not play this game very much. I played with some friends, but my online gaming really took off with MW2. COD games have always been the multiplayer for me.
0
Centipede
These classic arcade style games are some of my favorites! These are the games I flock to when I hit up local arcades. Very simple, repeating levels. But that’s what make them fun!
0

My favorite Kirby game on the N64 is still Smash Bros… By far the coolest part of this game was trying to figure out the different combinations!
0
Nintendo Switch Sports
The game is great for nostalgia purposes alone! I love this game because I can convince people who don’t like video games to play video games.
0
Joust
I love this game, but for a couple of reasons. I didn’t play it until about a year ago. I read the book Ready Player One, and played a huge role in that book. I had to go play it after that and it’s held a special place ever since! Side note, You need to read Ready Player One!!!!! So much Video Gane Nostalgia! The movie is trash….

This is a really cool concept and it’s definitely a good workout! My one knock is that the game is not fun enough as a stand alone video game. Therefore the motivation is not quite there…
0
Lego The Lord of the Rings
I love Lego games. I love LoTR. I love this game.
0
Spellbreak
I played this and it felt like it had potential. Unfortunately, it came out during the height of BR games. It’s unique gameplay is not enough to compete with Fortnite, Warzone, or Apex.

0
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS
I played this for a little bit, but I preferred Warzone due to my love of COD. Most of these games became unplayable with cheats and hacks…
0
Overwatch
I can’t give this a super fair review because I only played it a couple of times. Seemed like a very fun game if I spent time learning it, but I decided not to put in that work.
0
Asteroids
One of the few games we played on the 2600 at my uncles house. Very simple, but lots of fun!

Pokémon Puzzle League
As a game, it’s pretty average. But add in Pokémon, and it makes it so much more fun! Excited to pick this up and play again!

Finally played this and I loved it! The Metroid 2D games are the best and they do not disappoint with this one!

Lego Star Wars: The Video Game
While the Lego games have never been my favorite, they are so much to play with my nieces and nephews. I can’t wait to play this with my son.

Halo 2
Man this game was incredible! Such a huge improvement over the first one! The hours we spent playing multiplayer… and nothing felt better than doing the super jumps located throughout the different maps.
0
NCAA Football 14
I absolutely loved college football games. There was nothing quite like taking your favorite team all the way to the Championship. I was so bummed when they stopped making these.
0
Twisted Metal
I love the concept and had fun with this game. I really wish they would remake this with updated graphics.
0
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game
These are the types of games that I love to play over and over! Ninja Turtles, X-men, etc. Classics no matter the graphics.
0
Fable
I remember the hype surrounding this game when it came out. I was excited to try it out, but it failed to meet my expectations. Injusta didn’t get sucked into the story like I need to on these types of games.
0
Perfect Dark
For some reason this was much less regarded that Goldeneye, but it may very well have been the better game.
0
Assassin's Creed II
In terms of gameplay, the sequel was much better than the first. I personally still felt the game was a grind overall because of all the stealth.
0
Assassin's Creed
For me, the stealth aspect gets boring after awhile.
0
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time
This was actually one of the first Turtles game I played. It did not disappoint! Best part is I went back to play the older ones and they were just as fun!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages
I wish they would Remake these games for the switch! I think they could update and make these a ton of fun!
0
Rock Band
I always felt like this game was a knock off of Guitar Hero, which I felt was the superior game. BUT, being a drummer made this game fun for that part alone!
0
Crash Bandicoot
I’ve gone back and played this game a couple of times. I’ve never had the infatuation with this series. They’re just okay in my opinion.

What The Golf?
Really weird game, but we had so much fun with it! Play this with a few friends and you’ll have some good laughs! Especially if you are partaking in a few adult beverages.

Age of Empires III
It’s a pretty solid game but if I’m honest, I would prefer the second one.

This game started my love for AoE. So many games have taken ideas from this game.
0
The Sims

0
Hydro Thunder
My favorite racing game growing up. Also, it came in a blue cartridge! This is a game I played in our local arcade and pizza shops all the time!
0
NFL Street
This game was loads of fun! Weaker gameplay than NBA in my opinion, but the unique football style is a lot of fun!
0
NBA Street
This game is amazing! Sure it’s got some clunky play, but there’s nothing like the crazy dunks and street moves to earn points. And then once you max out your points bar, forget about it! So much fun!
0
Crazy Taxi
This game was like GTA for kids who couldn’t play GTA. It was amazing! You can drive anywhere and are rewarded for being an insane driver. Nothing ever beat playing this at the arcade, but consoles is a close second!
0
Pokémon Colosseum
Still one of my favorite Pokémon games! Actually playing back through it right now with my cousin. It was my first Pokémon game on a console and that was an absolute treat! Very unique game play with stealing of Pokémon, but it’s got a solid storyline!
0
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist
This game took me back to my roots as a duelist and I love it! I love that it has all the original cards! I have two knocks on it. First, the gameplay is a little awkward with how to select cards. Second, the game is broken. What I mean by that is newer decks completely crush the older decks. So nostalgia is fun but nostalgia loses to newer and better everytime…
0
The Sims Bustin' Out
One of my all time favorite GC games! We sunk hours into this game and occasionally still do! No playthrough is ever the same. Don’t want to work? Fine, make gnomes for a living! Want to have a kid? Great! Want to kill your kid because he was born with permanent clown face! Do it! Sell his gravestone for $5? Yes please! If you haven’t played this game, give it a go!
0
Need for Speed: Carbon
Not a huge fan of racing style games, but these were a blast to play! This game was the best of the series in my opinion.
0
Call of Duty: Black Ops
There were actually some pretty good multiplayer maps in this game, but let’s be honest the Zombies in this game were amazing! This gave us the greatest Zombie map ever, Kino der Toten!
0
Forza Horizon 3
I’m not a huge fan of racing games. I really want to like them, but I suck at them. Too big of a learning curve for me to want to put in the needed time.
0
Aladdin (Sega/PC/NES)
Had a lot of fun with this game! Some extremely hard parts, especially because I only got to play this when I was at my uncles house.
0
1-2-Switch
I had some fun playing this with some students, but it’s pretty gimmicky. Not a game you can play for long periods of time. Decent little party game, but not worth the original price tag.
0
Super Mario Maker 2
Again, a great game added to the franchise. Some crazy good prebuilt levels but simple enough for kids to make some fun levels as well. Built some great levels with my nephew! Highly recommend!
0
Super Mario Maker
I put this game for the longest time because I thought it would be stupid to make my own levels. But man this was a blast! Playing the created levels was crazy fun! Watching some of the hardest levels on YouTube is incredible.
0
Space Invaders
Really fun time waster. I actually had this game on my calculator in high school. I got pretty good at it in math class…
0
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
This was one of my least favorite CODs. Just felt it was a step down from MW2.
0
Bomberman 64
Fun game! We loved the multiplayer mode growing up! The newer Bomberman games still hold up fairly well!
0
Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain
Really fun game and not too expensive. Gets a little repetitive and boring after playing for too long, but we’ll worth it if you like some of these logic games.
0
Dynasty Warriors 8
More of the same. The series as a whole is hack and slash, so if you are into those types of games this is for you. Some people get bored with these games because they all stay fairly similar, but they are all worth a play!
0
Dynasty Warriors 6
Really enjoyed this game in the series! Yet again, if you liked the previous ones then you will enjoy this one.
0
Pokémon X and Y
Another very well done Pokémon game! While I still enjoy older Gens more, the visuals just keep getting better!
0
Pokémon Unite
I really wanted to love this game as I’m a huge Pokémon fan. Unfortunately I’m not a huge MOBA fan and so this game fell flat. It loses the Pokémon feel to it in my opinion.
0
Pokémon Platinum
This was the first game I bought for my DS when I got it a few years ago. Loved every minute of it. I don’t like these games as much as the first 3 generations, but the improving graphics make gameplay more fun!
0
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
I originally skipped over the DS, but have picked up a few in recent years. I’m so glad I’ve gone back and played these games! Pokémon games rarely disappoint!
0
New Pokémon Snap
I loved the original Pokémon Snap so I figured I would like this as well. I did enjoy this game but it wore off very quickly. Taking pictures of Pokémon isn’t as fun as it was as a kid…
0
Pokémon Emerald
The last of the best generations of Pokémon. Gens 1-3 will always be a step above the others in my kind. Definitely worth a play!
0
Pokémon Sword and Shield
By far the worst Pokémon game I’ve ever played. It was fun for awhile, but it was way too easy. The training was way too easy and the storyline was subpar. Very little room to travel off course and no challenging parts (Dark cave, victory road, elite four, etc. ). I beat the whole last tournament with a single Pokémon without healing once…
0
Monster Hunter: World
This game was incredible. If you like grinding, this is a game for you! Find someone to team up with and it takes this game to a whole new level. Two words. Insect Glaive. Most fun with a weapon.

I reí really enjoy the fifa series. Always solid games if you Ike soccer. I personally ally just get bored after awhile if I’m playing by myself.
0
Wave Race 64
I really si really enjoyed this game back in the day and still have a couple copies. Unfortunately it’s pretty rough to look at now a days. Pretty lackluster racing game. Skip this and go Hydrothunder.
0
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
I really enjoyed this game. Some of these handheld titles I wish they would remake for the Switch. I know this was available on the wiiU but sadly that was the one system I skipped…
0
Castlevania
I’ve only played it once through back when I was a kid. I remember it being fun, but I quickly moved on to SMB3 and never looked back.
0
Among Us
Lots of fun if you can play with a group of friends but kinda blah if not. I prefer the original Mafia card game.
0
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Again, these we’re before my time. I know at the time it was probably awesome, but it was hard to get into after playing the newer ones first.
0
Pac-Man
Love this game! Has been remade countless times, but the same original premise stands strong. If I ever got to an arcade, this is one of my go to games. Plus, I love destroying my students high scores on the Google version.
0
The Legend of Zelda
The original Zelda games were before my time. So when I went back to play them, I was definitely let down… that’s what happens when you compare them against Ocarina. Still solid games but not my favorite.
0
Wii Sports Resort
Loved wii sports and I loved this game! Wii sports and sports resort were the two most played wii games in our house. They were games we could actually get mom and dad to play with us, so they mean a lot to me in that regard!
0
Metroid Fusion
This was actually my first Metroid game I played, followed by Zero Mission. Both games were really fun and I enjoy the 2D Metroids the best. The GBA Metroids are must plays if you can get your hands on them!
0
Infamous 2
Really good sequel to a really good game. Loved the added components, such as more water in the location. Still one of my more favorite superhero video games.
0
Final Fantasy
This was a really fun game that had some serious strategy mixed in. I didn’t play it when it first came out, which means my playthrough is compared to the later games…. Which I enjoyed a lot more than this one.
0
Arms
Fun game that I enjoyed playing with the friends. I don’t think it was worth the price, but definitely worth a play if you happen upon it.
0
Elden Ring
If you love games that piss you off then this is for you.
0
Dynasty Warriors 3
This will be short and sweet. You like the first 2? You will like the third.
0
Mass Effect 2
Man, they fell short on ME. But they freaking delivered on ME2!! This game is in a lot of peoples’ top ten lists and it’s well deserved! Such a great game! They fixed the broken mechanics and the gameplay is incredible!
0
RollerCoaster Tycoon
Such an amazing game! Let’s you be creative but has objectives to need to meet. I wish they would remake this game because I would buy it up in a second! Also, turn your space shot to full speed and thank me later….
0
Mario Party Superstars
THIS was the Mario Party game we needed on the switch. Take the original games and update graphics. That’s all you need to do! My only hope is that they continue to add maps, but this game is perfect! I love how you can practice the mini games right on the start mini game screen as well! Amazing game and well worth it!
0
Mario Party
Second N64 game I ever owned and it was marvelous! Best game to play with friends (also soon to be enemies)!
0
Metroid: Zero Mission
I prefer the 2D Metroid games over the 3D Metroid games. And for some reason, this game is at the top for me. I absolutely loved playing this game on my GBA.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer
One of the first games I had on my N64 and it was so much fun! Using the invincibility cheat made the game that much better!

0
Bomberman
This game right here paved the way for some incredible Bomberman games. Amazing multiplayer party games!
0
Super Mario Galaxy
Like pretty much every Mario game before it, this game is fantastic! The controls are great and it’s a visually stunning game! One franchise that has really never had a letdown is Mario.
0
Luigi's Mansion 3
Super solid game! The thing I loved the most was it had an actual playable 2 player mode. Past games, like Super Mario Odyssey, 2P mode was a joke. I loved playing through this with my nephew.
0
Donkey Kong 64
I will start by saying I am biased on this one. The gameplay in itself was pretty fun and I enjoyed the game overall. The fact that you need a memory expansion ruins it for me. Growing up, while we were upstairs, our friend tried to put the expansion in. He ended up dropping the N64 on the cement floor. I blame him and this game for that terrifying moment.
0
Mario Kart Tour
I know some disagree, but this game was a letdown for me. I played and enjoyed it for a few days. But the game mechanics just left me wanting more. I will stick to regular Mario Kart.
0
Overcooked
Very fun game, but pretty unplayable once you’ve played the second one. Glitchy and mechanical problems. Still worth a play, but play this before the second one.
0
Overcooked! 2
This game is pure chaos. And I love every second of it! If you have not tried it, you need to! One of the best collaboration games out there! Put over 300 hours into this game and DLCs and still going strong!
0
Pokémon Yellow
This was my first Pokémon game and helped me fall in love with the franchise. I love the starters, so this game was amazing. Also, easy to catch legendary birds and Mewto? Sign me up! I may be in the minority, but I actually didn’t like the gimmick of pikachu… he only stayed on my team for like the first gym. But other than that little dude following you everywhere, this game was amazing!
0
Super Mario 3D All-Stars
This is probably my favorite Switch game. Super Mario 64 is incredible, ported over well. Sunshine is such an incredible game and often gets overlooked by people. Galaxy is actually my least favorite of the three, but it’s a masterpiece. Great game!
0
Super Mario World
Talk about replayability! Endless hours of fun everytime! And you can definitely NOT say no Yoshis were killed in the making of this game…
0
Mario Kart 64
Incredible game! Countless hours playing this when I was younger and enjoyed every second of it. I had to take one star off because of the replayability. This game did not hold up as well as I wish it did.
0
GoldenEye
This was tough. This game was groundbreaking and just downright incredible! I still own my original copy, but man it just doesn’t hold up. Trying to play this game now takes away from the original nostalgia…
0
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
One of my favorite Zelda games, in fact it is by far the Zelda game I enjoy going back and playing over and over again! The only knock on the game is how slow moving the traveling is at first, but that is fixed once you beat a boss and can transport. The story is incredible and everything you want from a Zelda game!
0
Super Metroid
The 2D Metroid games are fantastic! I love the newer games and how they kept the original feeling to them.
0
Super Mario Party
I love the Mario Party games. This one unfortunately fell flat. It might be fun with younger kids but it was not a hit around here. Too many little gimmicks like high fives.
0
Dr. Mario
Never played this game a whole lot, but it was a lot of fun. Basically Tetris with a twist.
0
Call of Duty: Warzone
I loved this game and played it nonstop for about two years. Then it started breaking… Cheaters. Hackers. Sweats. It became completely zero fun… but it provided two straight years of joy, so gotta show it some love!

I’m a huge Homer when it comes to Pokémon, Gen 1 is by far the best!! These games were/are incredible!!! I highly recommend you grab an emulator if you haven’t played these before!
0

The LoTR games on GameCube were incredible games and still are. I go back every year and play through these games, usually with a friend as multiplayer is a blast!
0
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
More of the same. You like the previous games, you’ll like this as well.
0
Dynasty Warriors 7
These games remain a blast to play! Fun storyline mix with the open world roaming. I still have this game for my ps3 and go back to play it from time to time.
0
Pokémon GO
Early on, this was amazing! Many nights at 3am catching Pokémon. My biggest problem was how they changed training, battling, and catching Pokémon. Those were three of my favorite components of Pokémon games.
0
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Great game due to the sheer vastness of it. So much you can do.
0
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
I still prefer the original Mario games, but this is a blast to play with friends! Especially after having a few drinks!
0
Super Smash Bros. Melee
By far my favorite game in the series. One of the best games on the GameCube. Nothing else needs to be said.
0
Mario Tennis Aces
Loved the game! A bit of a learning curve when it comes learning the characters and mechanics. That made it hard to play with my wife as I was much better than her. Hard to have fair matches.
0
Halo 3
Halo 2 and Halo 3 were the pinnacles of the franchise.
0
Clash of Clans
Definitely a solid game. I usually play for a few months and then take some time off. Way more fun if you can be in a clan with friends.
0
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
By far my favorite of the LoTR games on GC. Still love going back and playing these games!
0
Sonic Adventure
Fun game and it led to future incredible games!
0
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
This was a well done game! So much nostalgia and I’ve loved teaching my nephew to play this game!
0
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
This game gave me brief amounts of fun, but very brief. Turn based Mario games like this don’t catch my attention. If I want turn based battles, I’m going toward Paper Mario or Mario/Luigi Superstars games.
0
Pokémon Snap
Spent a lot of time playing this game. They somehow made not doing anything a lot of fun! Get bored going back now playing it, but loved seeing all the Pokémon.
0

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Such an amazing game! Spent like 90 hours on my first playthrough! So many side quests to spend time on.
0
Marvel's Spider-Man (2018)
Great game and was tons of fun! The only knock for me was the actual fighting. I honestly felt like I was just back playing the Arkham games, nothing too incredible. But other than that, enjoyed every minute of gameplay!
0
Mario Bros.
Fun little game. Nothing like the Super Mario games, but it’s a classic deserving to be played!
0
Metroid
I may be in the minority, but I enjoy the 2D Metroid games better than the 3D.
0
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
Is this a great game? No. Is it a lot of fun? Yes! Loved seeing characters from my childhood duke it out. I’m hoping they spend some time and continue on with these types of ideas!
0
Halo Wars
My review is slightly biased. I received this game back in the day and was given no information on it. Let’s just say not understanding what this game was made it very disappointing thinking I was getting a new Halo game…
0
Super Mario 64
Some people have hated on the camera so much, and maybe it’s nostalgia, but that doesn’t bother me one bit! This game is incredible!! Easily top 2 Mario game of all time! It holds up amazingly and I play through again every year! One of the only games I 100% every time I play it!
0
Sonic the Hedgehog
I actually got started on the Sonic franchise through Sonic Spinball. But shortly after, I found these games on my cousins Sega and I was hooked. Simple mechanics but so much fun!
0
Chrono Trigger
The thing I remember most about this game was the music. But a great game!
0
NFL Blitz
Man this game was incredible. Teams full of jacked up players kicking each other’s butts and body slamming each other. And the fact that you got random cheat codes everytime you played was awesome!
0
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
This was an amazing game back in the day. We would all huddle around and play.
0
Mario Party 8
This game had some cool aspects with the motion controls, but over all was a let down in the series.

Love how they ported this game! They made it look fantastic, which definitely helped lead to this game being more fun than the original in my opinion!
0
Dynasty Warriors 9
They definitely added some features to this game and the open world aspect is a lot of fun! I stand by if you like hack and slash games, then you need to try these games!
0

0
Red Dead Redemption 2
Incredible storyline with hours upon hours of extras. You will get lost in this world!
0
StarFox Adventures
So different from the previous game, but great in its own way! Really wish they would remake this game! Or a sequel!
0
Beat Saber
Such a great game!!! Beat Saber is at its best when you cast up your screen to the tv for all your friends to watch! The amount of add on songs you can get is awesome as well!
0
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2
The hours spent on this game…. And no cheat code was ever used more for me than everlasting grinding. And the fact that the cartridges came in different colors?!?! Loved it and still own it!
0
Diddy Kong Racing
Still own the game and love the ability to race with different vehicles. Just didn’t feel as clean as Mario Kart.
Lists: Top 10 Racing
0

They did a great job of having different characters and abilities. Always a great time!!
0
Donkey Kong 3
More of the same. If you enjoyed the previous one, you will enjoy this too.
0
Ghost of Tsushima
This game gets a 5 based solely upon visuals. Throw a good storyline in there and this game is a must play!
0
Minecraft
I used to hate this game and used to make fun of everyone who played it. Then I played it… It’s incredible! So relaxing, allows you to be creative, and is so much fun to play with friends!
0
God of War (2018)
Incredible story. That’s all you need to know.
0
Hyrule Warriors
Love this type of gameplay. Adding in the Zelda connection makes it that much better!
0
Mario Party 6
Very fun game! The mini games continue to be a blast and they keep on doing the same thing in terms of game play. Solid game.
0
Pistol Whip
Very fun game on the Quest! Along with any VR game, I can only play for so long! But it looks and sounds fantastic!
0
Guitar Hero II
Until you can play Through the Fire and Flames on expert, you have not lived.
0
Super Mario Bros. 2
You can not compare this to the first or third installments as it’s a completely different type of game. And it’s amazing! I’ve never even played the game as anyone other than Princess Peach as the ability to float got me everytime!
0
Donkey Kong
These classic arcade games are still incredibly fun to this day!
0
Tecmo Super Bowl
I struggle to rate this. At the time, we had so much fun with it. Now it’s a game that for obvious reasons would not be fun to play.
0
Dynasty Warriors
I honestly forgot this was the beginning of Dynasty Warriors. This is nothing special and I would skip over this and go to Dynasty Warriors 2.
0
Kingdom Hearts
I wanted to love this game as I love the concept and the characters! I just couldn’t get into the story and gameplay…
0
Paper Mario
I like the Paper Mario games. This is a solid game which I enjoy every time I play it. Not the best one in the series, but a very fun take on classic Mario games.
Lists: Own It
0
Ms. Pac-Man
Hands down the best Namco game out there! My first experience was the Namco collection on N64. I now seek this game out anytime there are arcade games. Blows Pac-Man out of the water.
0
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
Great great game full of nostalgia! You can always count of a good time sitting down to play this!
0
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
Little bit of a gimmick. Fun experience but a little lackluster is terms of speed and replaying multiple times.
0
Mario Golf: Super Rush
Had some fun playing with friends. Wasn’t quite worth the money in my opinion, but a fun addition to the franchise.
0
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Loved the gameplay! Only knock is too short of a game.
0
The Last of Us Part II
For me, the story dragged along.. not as engaging and exciting as the first. Solid game but won’t play again.
Lists: Restarts, Backlog
0
DuckTales
Fun game that was probably because of nostalgia.
0
Fortnite
In its Hay Day, this was easily a five! Played non stop for months! Then the building really took off… for non pros, this game became nearly impossible to play and not get built over, under, and around.
0
Clash Royale
Really fun game! They continuously update the game to keep it fresh. The only knock is at times it gets really stale. Feels like the same thing over and over again. That’s when you take a break for awhile and then come back.
0
Super Mario Bros.
First video game I ever owned on my NES. Well that and Duck Hunt! This game gave me my love for video games and I will always love it for that reason!!
0
Pokémon Crystal
I love Legendary Pokémon. So anytime the game makes it easy to acquire one, that’s a win for me! Gen 1 is hands down my favorite, but how can you not love Typhlosion! Great game! You literally cannot go wrong with the first three Gens in Pokémon.
0
Batman: Arkham City
Great sequel to a great game! I could go on and on about the Arkham games, especially the first two.
0
The Last of Us
Very fun game that sucks you into the story. My only knock is I started getting a bit bored by the end with some of the slower missions.
0
Metal Gear Solid
Such an amazing game! If you have not played it, you need to!
0
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
This is probably my favorite of the Assassins Creed games! They’re all solid games, but this one definitely stands out!

Apex Legends
The game is a solid BR game. Never got too into it, but had some fun playing with friends. More skills to learn than a lot of other BR games.
0
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Getting this game during quarantine was the perfect storm! So relaxing and helped me pass the time. Nothing groundbreaking it incredible at the same time.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
I did not play this until recently because I could never find a copy, but it’s amazing! This game led to so many of the mechanics of newer Mario games.
0
New Super Mario Bros. U
Loved the game, a blast to play with other people. Especially after a few adult beverages.
0
Phasmophobia
I’ve only played this game twice. In a dark basement at 3 in the morning. It was amazing! I have heard it’s much better playing with friends so I look forward to trying that out at some point!
0
Mario Party 5
Another Mario Party! If you liked the previous ones, then you’ll like this one. With these games you always know what you will get!
0
Tetris 99
Love tetris! Love this game! A little crazy at times and lost its luster after awhile. But a very fun game!
0
Duck Hunt
What, I’m not allowed to touch the gun to the screen?… still have the game but no tv to play on…
0
Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball
Solid game and helped pave the way for the game on the N64, which was my favorite growing up!
0
Halo Wars 2
More of the same. If you liked the first, then you’ll like this one.
0
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
It was a solid game which was used primarily to level up guns for Warzone. I’ll be honest, regular multiplayer shooters lost their thrill once I started Battle Royale games…
0
Mario Kart: Double Dash
This is a game that I will rate 5 stars even though I hate going back and playing it. The drifting mechanics are so different than MK8 that it’s hard to go back. But the gameplay was incredible!! Switching characters midrace and having special items is something they should think about bringing back.
0
Kirby's Adventure
I’ve always wanted to like this game more than I do. It’s a fun game but when out up against other games such as Mario, I chose replaying Mario.
0
Left 4 Dead 2
A zombie game is a good game. A good zombie game is a great game. This is a great game.
0
Cruis'n USA
Classic arcade game that was always a good time! Personally, I always enjoyed Crusn the World better. But they are both solid games! Spent hours at our local Pizza Hut playing this game!
0
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
The Command and Conquer games were fantastic! If they brought this back, I would play the heck out of it!
0
Wordle
A lot of fun! My only knock is once you have a system, it becomes to easy.
0
The Oregon Trail
Name a game that captured the hearts of millions while killing every single one of them…. This game was educational to a degree while giving you hours and hours of fun! What more could you want in a game!?!
0
The Sims 4
Not the best Sims game, but a solid game forsure!
0
Valorant
I see why people like this game, but it definitely wasn’t for me. Couldn’t quite into the pace and strategy of it.
0
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
I love the idea of this game and wish they would remake it on switch with online capabilities. It would be a blast!
0
Super Mario 3D World
A blast to play with others! A little hard when you don’t stay right by each other, makes the camera wonky.
Lists: Own It
0
Mario Party 9
Another solid entry to the franchise. A few gimmicks, but some solid mini games and will lend itself to a good time for a group of friends!
0
Untitled Goose Game
I played this for the first time with my cousin. We had a blast playing together. It’s not a game that you’re going to play for weeks loving the storyline, but you’ll have a blast killing some hours.
0
Donkey Kong Country
This is still one of my favorite DK games. I’m hoping they continue to expand upon this franchise.
0
Pokémon Legends Arceus
Love the idea of open world Pokémon and this game delivers! My one knock is I’m old school when it comes Pokémon games. I like the battling and catching components of the original games.
0
Final Fantasy VII
It was a fun game to play and had a lot of awesome components. For me, it was a game I played once and didn’t play again. I’ve never been a huge FF fan, but this game at least held my interest.
0
Halo Infinite
This felt like a trip down memory lane. It was a lot of fun, but just not as good as it could have been.
0
Aladdin (SNES)
Loved these classic Disney games. Not easy push over games like people assume.
0
Mega Man 2
Great game! Made huge improvements from the first one.
0
Mario Party 3
The original Mario Parties were perfect! It took me years to get my hands on a copy of this and I was not disappointed!
0
Age of Empires IV
These games have stood the test of time! Loved them back then and love them now!
0
Donkey Kong Jr.
Man this game was so good! While the mechanics could be wonky at times, it was always a good time! Super frustrating levels that forced me to grind as a kid.
0
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
I did not play this until Switch and it was a fantastic game! Controls felt great and flying was pretty fun. My only knock was the flying did take a long time to reach certain places.
0
Phantasy Star Online
The PSO games are incredible! Clunky mechanics make it challenging, but the whole storyline and gameplay are so much fun!
0
Mario Party 10
I have limited experience with this game as I never owned a WiiU, but I played with my cousins. Yet another solid Mario Party game. I see why some people get bored as the games are all fairly similar, but that’s what keeps me coming back!
0
Dynasty Warriors 2
I loved this game as a kid! Didn’t take a lot of skill to be decent at the game! I loved the ability to roam around as I pleased!
0
Splatoon 2
It’s a fun game with a unique style of play. My one knick on the series is the lack of multiplayer modes available on a single console.
0
Tetris
First video game I ever played. We owned the original Gameboy with this game. Every trip was the best trip.
0
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Great games! Beautifully brought to the Switch!
0
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
As other hace said, I loved the Dynasty Warriors games. I also enjoyed the first one of these games. But for some reason, this one just didn’t do it for me. I got bored about halfway through and never bothered to finish it.
0
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This needs no review. I understand there were other Zelda games before this, but this is the game that everyone thinks of when they here Zelda. And who couldn’t love our favorite hero dressed in green, Zelda. 😉
0
Contra
I remember playing this game over and over again thinking it was downright impossible… But then you found the code… Great game!
0
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Very fun Kirby game. I wish it was more challenging.
0
Excitebike
This game was infuriating. And this game was amazing! So simple yet it captivated us for hours.
0
Mario Party 2
Mario Party 1-3 were straight perfection. You update graphics and these games would sell out in an instant!
0
Banjo-Tooie
Very fun follow up game that was challenging! Definitely worth a play!
0
Luigi's Mansion
Such a fun take of the classic character! A hero scared out of his mind! Loved it!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Not the best in the series as it has some annoying mechanics, but still a solid game. The different masks/abilities add a fun component.
0
Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball
My first Sonic game ever and it was incredible. I have this game on multiple platforms and still love it!
0
Super Mario 3D Land
I had a lot of fun with this game. You put Mario in a game, I will enjoy it. Solid levels and solid gameplay. Plus it led to some incredible games as well!
0
Dynasty Warriors 4
Again, loved the game! More of the same, which is not a bad thing!
0
MLB The Show 22
I love baseball and I enjoy baseball games. This is more of a personal bias but I just get bored with baseball games.
0
Pokémon Gold and Silver
Love these games! Any Pokémon game in Gens 1-3 are straight perfection. Pretty straightforward with plenty of extras!
0
Rock Band 2
Rock Band was always the little brother of Guitar Hero, but being a drummer I still fell for the game!
0
Doom
Great game! I had this on a couple different platforms, including my calculator in high school! When games make it to the calculator, you know they’re classics.
0
Mega Man X
Mega man is a very fun franchise. Not the best game in the series, but it was fun none the less!
0
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Every Zelda game is different, but every single one knocks it out of the park! This one is no different. Fun challenges throughout.
0
Mario Party 7
This game was so much fun! The Mic was a total gimmick, but the game is no worse without it. You have some amazing new mini games And has the same mechanics that make these games great!
0
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Pretty fun game! Donkey Kong games were never my favorite games, but had some fun with it.
0
Yoshi's Story
This game this game was downright incredible! It looked and sounded amazing! Was it the hardest game? No. But I always enjoy a playthrough of this game!
0
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The story mode in this game was really fun. Other than that, I did not care for the mechanics of this game. It didn’t help that they took my favorite character, Fox, and basically made him unusable. I personally skipped over this and didn’t play it too much. I played Melee over this one.
0
Sonic Adventure 2
Maybe one of my favorite Sonic games, which is saying something! There is so much to do in this game!
0
Star Fox
My rating is probably biased because I played the N64 version first. Once you play that one, this one just isn’t good.
0
Dynasty Warriors 5
In case you haven’t caught on, I really enjoy the style of the games. They improve each time but keep the mechanics similar.
0
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire
They kept parts of the originals that were fun and added in new components that improved upon things. It’s hard to go back to older games before running shoes.
0
John Elway's Quarterback
It was it was my first football game. I enjoyed it at the time but that’s because I didn’t know better. Not really worth your time.
0
Mario Kart 8
I had not played Mario Kart since Double Dash, but this was the first game I played on my switch! And man does it deliver! With the addition of new courses, this game keeps showing why it’s one of the most popular games on the market!!
0
Ice Hockey
Classic game! One of the best hockey games to date! The only better games are Wayne Gretzky on the N64.
0
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Hands down the best COD game. The best online experience out there in terms of COD games!
0
Infamous
Got this game as a free download on my PS3 back in high school and I knew nothing about it. It blew me away! A unique style of play made for an incredible story!
0
Mario Party 4
Mario Party. That’s all you need. Perfect party game.
0
Battletoads
I think this game has become a legendary game because… well actually I don’t know why. It’s a fun/challenging game, but I never quite got all the love people have for it.
0
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I’ve always loved this franchise! Brawl was a letdown for me and so I took a break. But this game got back to the roots of Melee and I love it! They knocked it out of the park!
0
Super Smash Bros. 64
I’ll start by saying this game does not hold up as well as Melee has. But at the time it came out, this game was gamechanging for this genre. I would still go back and play this game and enjoy it.
0
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
One of the greatest Sonic games! Will not disappoint!
0
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
Fun game to get out and play every once in awhile
0
Pikmin
Solid game! It’s unique gameplay made this one a lot of fun when I picked it up for the first time!
0
NES Open Tournament Golf
I had a lot of fun with this game! It’s not a great golf game in terms of golf skills, but it was lots of fun back in the day.
0
NBA Jam
Nothing is better than getting on fire and destroying the competition.
0
Super Mario Sunshine
Most underrated Mario game ever. The different controls led to a lot of hate, but they were so much fun! FLUDD was a blast to use and it made it a unique experience!
0
Pokémon Stadium
Extremely fun game! The battling gets old after awhile, but having Pokémon in 3D was perfection!
0
Tecmo Bowl
I enjoyed playing this as a kid, but never quite got the hype. I had fun with it and it’s worth a play if you haven’t yet.
