"Cereal is one of my favorite foods, most nights it’s my snack before bed. I routinely throw cereal parties at school. The cereal aisle is my favorite aisle at the store. No sale gets me excited like a cereal sale (picked up Oreo Os on sale this week). There’s a lot to unpack here, so here I go… First off, dry cereal straight out of the box or a cup is a quick, appropriate snack. Me and the kid do that quite often while watching our morning cartoons. But it is not how you eat cereal as a meal…. Even the so called cereals that get ruined by milk ,as some have put it (cinnamon toast crunch), are actually enhanced by milk. I’ve never eaten a cereal that I prefer dry and trust me, I’ve eaten a lot of cereal… Milk makes every cereal better. In most cases, it’s important to note that cereal goes in first and then milk gets added in afterwards. Then you continue to add milk/cereal until you’ve had your fill (one bowl is never enough…). There is one exception to this rule. You can break graham crackers into bites and it makes a delicious cereal, but you must do milk first and only about four bites of graham cracker at a time.
