The Analogue Pocket is an FPGA-based handheld game console designed and manufactured by Analogue, Inc.; it was announced on October 16, 2019 and released on December 13, 2021. It is designed to play games designed for handhelds of the fourth, fifth and sixth generation of video game consoles.

I’ll make a super post review this week but wanted to get this out there as a reminder - tomorrow at 8am PST their shop is restocking the black and white models. Amazing handheld system that plays all GB/GBC/GBA out of the box. Offers fpga emulation; I’m playing Chrono Trigger and Super Mario Kart on it now. Extremely nice looking screen, that’s the main selling point. The main cons are - emulation currently doesn’t allow save states, and the cartridges can knock loose more easily than I’d like.

Analogue Pocket
I have other old consoles like the game boy and so this one looks amazing. I think it’s really good honestly only like two complaints about it. The music could be turned a little better, but overall, I think this one is way better than the old ones just new graphics and brighter, screen and way better shaping of the console, it’s very amazing.
