/so this game was the hardest of the franchise for me to get into. it tied the stories of 1 and 2 together. but having characters from completely disconnected games be there from the start gave me some serious Tales Of Symphonia 2 vibes. it didn't need to be there, but it was great. I found this to be the simplest of the 3 mainline games as far as combat, and overall world. I love the game greatly, but of the 3, it is the one I will never play again!
This game is a fantastic blend of music, gameplay, and exploration that JRPG fans can especially appreciate. Delving into an interesting mix of the last two game's mechanics into a very interesting way makes the combat of the game very fun and interesting depending on how you want to play the game. This is also not even discussing probably one of the best points of any Xenoblade game, the story, and this game's story comes at ya in spades. Fantastic story that stays strong for a majority of the game, with only the 9th chapter really only being a bit of a hiccup throughout the entire game. The game is a pure masterpiece of Monolithsoft, and showcases all of what makes Xenoblade and Monolithsoft themselves so amazing. Absolutely worth the playthrough if JRPGs are something you enjoy.
