*Snow Day Gaming Stories*
In high school, I woke up to a huge snow storm. My school, however, was not reported closed. Begrudginly, I put on my uniform and hit the subway. I arrived at my stop, got out, and started the long walk to school. Making my way down the station (walking fast) I noticed a number of students from my school were walking back towards the trains. I stopped a random one and asked what was up. "School's closed..." he said as he rushed to catch his train back home. I am a skeptic so I kept walking to the exit. As I did, more and more students walked by me yelling "school is closed! Snow day!"

That sold me, I turned around and headed back home. I may have called my mom on a payphone to confirm (i was a good kid). When I got back, I decided to game the entire day away. As I was selecting what game to veg out to, my phone rang. It was my best friend. He was currently in the train station (late as usual) and just found out there was no school. Problem was, his mom was at work and he didn't have the key to the apartment. So I did what any red-blooded friend would do. I told him to come over.

Thus began one of the greatest snow days ever. Two best friends, playing endless games from 9am to 9pm. We played Nascar and drove every race in the opposite direction trying to crash into the ai. We tried to escape the cops on a 5 star wanted level in GTA 2 (the top down game), so many hardcore matches in WWF Attitude, and a bunch more games my old brain can't pinpoint.
