Whether it's 1 to 2, or 99 to 100, leveling up is the best feeling in the world. On Channel 3, when you participate in quests, when your post gets 1Up'd, when you crush a daily minigame, you get XP. Get 1k XP, and you level up and unlock rewards. Rewards can be custom reaction GIFs, cool backgrounds, or prize wheel spins for IRL gaming gear or in game currency.
Turbo is an optional subscription for superusers. You don't need Turbo to enjoy Channel 3. Turbo users get early access to new features, and are able to unlock more levels in a season.
On Channel 3, seasons last 3 months. They will always run January 1 - April 1, April 1 - July 1, July 1 - October 1, and October 1 - January 1.
Channel 3 is the social platform for gamers. You're welcome to browse. If you want to post, 1UP, respawn, comment, rate, review, complete quests, etc, you'll need to log in or create an account. (It's free.)
Open channel3.gg in Chrome. Click the Install icon in the right side of the address bar:
Click Install when you get this prompt.
After installation, you can pin to the Windows taskbar alongside your other favorite apps.
Open channel3.gg in Safari. It has to be Safari.
Tap the Share button in the middle of the footer.
Tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add on the prompt.
BOOM. You're done. iPhones try to act like it's "just a website bookmark" because they want everyone to go through the App Store but really it functions just like an app... Full screen, moveable icon on your home screen. All of it.

"Replaying this for the third time and oh how I've forgotten how amazing this game is! You have to push through the first few hours while you learn the mechanics of the game but once you have them down, this game is fantastic! I will play for hours at a time and when I stop I realize I've accomplished nothing other than exploring this beautiful world. If you can see it, you can get to it. You see a lonely tree at the top of a mountain...go check it out because it's probably something. The shrine puzzles are unique and fun so they don't feel stale after awhile. I cannot say enough good things about this game. If the weapons breaking was something that bothered you, play through it because it does get to a point where you have so many weapons that it just doesn't matter. What more can be said about this game other than this is hands down top 3 game of all time. If you haven't played it, play it. If have played it, play it again."
"While it took me a long time to truly “get it”, once it clicked I fell in love with this expansive, beautiful world. Countless hours can be spent going on quests, foraging for supplies, and just getting lost exploring the vastness of Hyrule. "
"I get why people like this game, but it just doesn't feel like a Zelda to me. I played this originally on the Wii U and never finished it until I picked it up again on the Switch. The weapon breaking mechanic is a real turn off and although the open world idea is cool, it just takes away from the basic Zelda formula I have come to love."
"When I finished it the first time I felt like it was the greatest game I had ever played. Considering it was the first entry in the franchise to have a fully open world, they mastered it quickly. There was a new challenge or puzzle around every corner, where so many other open worlds seem much more empty. It was a perfect marriage of the aesthetic and base gameplay from previous Zelda games with the new open world exploration. Only points off are for how underwhelming the final fight with Ganon ends up being if you have completed most of the side quests."

I did not like it. I tried to push my way through but I just couldn’t. The open world aspect is phenomenal. The fighting is pretty fun, but that’s it for me.
The story isn’t anything like OoT or Majoras Mask. I felt lost at times and having to do the shrines to get more hearts/stamina just felt like a chore. The weapons breaking every 30 seconds is annoying. I’d much rather trade off the open world for a more linear story that was more enticing"
"Amazing game! I remember playing the first Zelda game on the NES when I was a kid. Yes, the cartridge was "gold" too. To see the change between BoTW and Legend of Zelda is pretty crazy when you think about it. BoTW takes Zelda to an entirely new level, quite literally too. I'm excited for the next one to come out but I am glad there is so much to do in this one, I have something to keep me busy until that happens. "
"I had never really played a Zelda game before, I have always been more of a Playstation guy beginning with PS1, PS2, PS3, you get the hint by now. This changed when I had kids and bought a Nintendo switch, and it came with Zelda. My son played it quite a bit, and I watched him until I decided to start my own campaign. Absolutely amazing game only complaint is that I wish it was longer. "
"Pros: The art direction both graphically and musically is solid. The physics system invites experimentation both for gameplay and combat.
Cons: The durability of weapons felt way too low which could cause some encounters to become way more difficult than necessary. While some of the shrines were fun there were too many and it got repetitive quickly. The shrines and beasts didnt scratch that legendary zelda temple itch. The korok seed quest is literal crap.
TLDR: The game is fun to jump in and experiment with and exploration is a blast but hopefuy future installments will see the best of BOTW and the best of previous entries."

"This was a game I poured countless hours into. A tribute to all of Zelda’s past and a great game on its own merits. It teaches you to always win and solve your problems with what you have and to never get too attached to any one weapon, whereas in most RPG’s we always look out for the “best” weapons and armor and magic. Some will hate this, but it shows that you always have to be prepared. Watching videos of people finding new ways to travel super fast and doing unique kills will always make this game entertaining. Love the open world element to it, and the ability to approach problems in multiple different ways (some may call it cheesing, but I've finished at least one of the shrines where you have to use motion controls to move a ball through a labyrinth by just launching that sucker 😂). "I played through this, got every shrine and every Korok seed, and then restarted in Master Mode and beat it again. 500,000 hours. Fantastic game. Zero flaws, even though some people dislike the mechanic of smaller shrines over lengthier dungeons. One of the greatest games ever made, period."

"This game in combination with the Switch came at the perfect time. A few months into being a dad, Link kept me and my first kiddo company as I took night shifts to let my wife sleep. "Was very skeptical at first since it didn't fit the regular Zelda game mold I knew and loved growing up, but fell in love with this game very fast. "This game is awesome. There's a lot to it that I never even really explored. My only knocks on it: there's no on screen visual for your weapons durability, and one of the main quests has a clue giver but it doesn't guide you to them.
I don't mind the weapon durability system, but not knowing how much disability an item has, or is left was a little bit disappointing.
I spent a month lost on the main quest, put the game down for a couple years. Got a little more committed. Accidentally stumbled across an NPC, and got closer. Finished the game after that and loved it!"

"Yes this is not the Legend of Zelda your parents grew up with (nor me). If you can get over that this is a whole new experience but still worhy of the upper echelons of the franchise (along with the original, Link to the Past, Ocarina, and Twilight). The weapons system can be frustrating at time but not burdensome. The open world nature I jokingly say can be confusing for Zelda players but is ultimately fulfilling.
This soundtrack is at the tops of all video games. My son literally listens to the soundtrack on repeat every night while he sleeps. On a side note I think he has played this game through six times since he was seven (he is nine now). "
