Before overwatch and marvel rivals, there was TF2. Before Overwatch turned their characters into personality cults, there was tf2. Before Marvel Rivals would take iconic moves from overwatch, overwatch took from TF2. A battle arena with a limited set of characters all doing a different type of gameplay. focusing on team work and communication, which NEVER HAPPENED, BECAUSE WE DIDNT NEED PYRO, WE NEEDED THE DOCTOR, SINCE WE NEED HEALERS AND NOW YOU ARE TANKING? GET A GRIP, WE ARE GOING TO LOSE THE GAME
A fun Hat collection simulator with guns and the best FPS characters ever created. The Meet the videos are classics. Go watch them all. Then go play some TF2 and cry some more!
Well, I'm updating this the day before TF2's birthday. Apparently I only have 239 hours in it according to steam, and that seems low. The game never stops being fun. Go play it! Get some hats! Cry some more!
The most fun that I'VE ever had online! TF2 is the game that keeps me coming back even a decade later. It's the game that got me my first gaming laptop at age 9, and it's my comfort pick at age 22. I'm still grinding for my australium Medigun (tonight's the night I can feel it!!).
basically the precursor to overwatch! i played so much of this, Quake, and Counter-Strike as a young lad that i fully thank my fps wrist ability as far as projectile dps goes on this game. Thank you Orange Box, the game is free to play but the box is still to this day still the best bang for your buck money can buy as far as gaming content goes
The amount of time I've spent in this game with friends eclipses almost any other game I've ever played. We still play to this day. How many other games that are 15 years old can you say you still play regularly?
I was a pyro before this game, it just let me play one for more hours than I can count. Steam only started calculating hours years after this game was already out. The class and weapon balance, and yearly events keep the dream alive. Now if only Valve would something about the damn bots....
