Superhot is an independent first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed and published by Superhot Team. Though the game follows traditional first-person shooter gameplay mechanics, with the player attempting to take out enemy targets using guns and other weapons, time within the game progresses at normal speed only when the player moves; this creates the opportunity for the player to assess their situation in slow motion and respond appropriately, making the gameplay similar to strategy video games. The game is presented in a minimalist art style, with enemies in red and weapons in black, in contrast to the otherwise white and grey environment.

If Doom and Doom eternal changed fps, this took that change, chewed it up and turned it to play doh. Cause this plays with the very mechanics of fps. Its a puzzle based on movement and action. Such a good game. You will see with each level how to think differently accrding to the environment

I straight up felt like I was in the matrix dodging bullets and twisting around to get past levels. Really fun game, I'll always remember my wife walking in on me laying on the floor trying to dodge something and her asking "what in the world are you doing?"

Review is for VR version.

Probably the best VR experience I have had to date. I would really get into this game laying on the ground and sucking incoming rounds. If you didn’t try to do the Neo bullet dodge you aren’t playing this right. Concept is everything moves in slow motion except when you are in motion. So you have to time your shots, throws, and punches correctly. Never beat the game and I need to get back into it. You will build up a sweat playing this.

Game is hot. Also, you do a thing at the end that I think has been censored now, which kinda takes the twist and plot and tosses them to the side. Still recommend.
