Super Punch-Out!! is a boxing video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released on September 14, 1994 in North America and again in the same region in 1996. It was released in Europe on January 26, 1995 for the same console and in Japan in 1998 for the Nintendo Power flash RAM cartridge series and the Super Famicom. The game is also included in the GameCube version of Fight Night Round 2 as an extra game due to the inclusion of Little Mac in the game. The game was released for the Wii's Virtual Console in Europe on March 20, 2009, in North America on March 30, 2009, and in Japan on July 7, 2009. The game was also released on the New Nintendo 3DS eShop on May 5, 2016. Nintendo re-released Super Punch-Out!! in the United States in September 2017 as part of the company's Super NES Classic Edition. It is the fourth game in the Punch-Out!! series, taking place after the Punch-Out!! game for the NES. In Super Punch-Out!! the player controls Little Mac, as he fights his way to become the World Video Boxing Association champion. Players, fighting from a "behind the back" perspective, must knockout their opponent in three minutes to win. Players can launch jabs, hooks, and uppercuts against their opponents as well as block, dodge, and duck opponents' attacks. Nintendo Integrated Research and Development, led by Genyo Takeda, Minoru Arakawa and Makoto Wada, developed the game. It also featured voice acting by Charles Martinet.

I originally hates this game but after learning that patterns it became quite enjoyable. When you finally realize a pattern after dying to the same guy many times it feels so good to just easily knock the guy out.

I’m slowly playing through this and enjoying it so far. It’s all about pattern recognition. Worth 3 stars but I may bump it up after finishing it

I kinda love this game and I desperately hope they bring this back one day. It was such a classic on NES and this one on SNES made it even better (and with LESS racism and stereotypes almost!) It's super fun, looks awesome, and is a challenge to play but makes you wanna keep trying once you learn all the different boxer's patterns.

I love most (maybe all) boxing games. This one I remember having incredible graphics compared to mike tyson's punch out on the nes. It was difficult but not insane. Great game.

This game is fun. The only trouble I have with it, is that it doesn't seem to respond as quick to when I push the buttons some times. So it either doesn't punch as fast as I want, or doesn't dodge immediately when I dodge. But I've thrown a lot of punches in this game

Love this game!!! The first punch out was the hardest, but this one is no cake walk.
