This game is a lot of fun, especially with having the ability to adjust the Ego so that you can enjoy playing while also having that little bit of a challenge to it. I love the arcade feel to it where it's not overly serious (especially with being able to knock the pitcher out and the teams players names) and the buttons themselves aren't overly complicated to figure out.

Gettings hits in the game is satisfying, hitting home runs is satisfying, and making big plays in the field is just as satisfying, especially when you're able to lay out and make that play to get a clutch out (or at least rob the batter of a single).

4 stars because .. honestly unsure what would make it a 5-star game as there's probably more for me to dig into so should I do that then I will update this rating as necessary.

This game is just an amazingly fun baseball game. It's gimmicky, quirky, arcady, and it's baseball! The names of players are hilarious, hitting a HR is always exciting, the dynasty mode is a blast, especially if you do a draft. You can customize your own team and players. You can make this game so unique to you. That's something you can't do with most games. This game will be in my regular rotation of games for some time.

It loses a star because of the online servers. Sometimes it can be ridiculous. It is fine most of the time, but when the servers crap out it is very noticeable.

I highly recommend this game, go play it and have fun, also, I hear the Baseball League on C3 is one of the best groups out there. Might as well join them.

I don't know. It is somehow the most fun game I have played in years. Sure, I enjoyed Coffee Golf, I go back to Three houses, but this is just so dang fun

It's a simple baseball game, which is the exact difficulty I want when playing any sports game. Customizing my team uniforms and name were a big plus too.

I was able to try it on my switch a couple nights ago with the WiFi I have form my aunts cabin and it's much better than I thought. My first thought was boy another baseball game probably gonna be garbage to when I have full WiFi let's to this since Fortnite season three is garbage š‚ lol š‚

This has been a really fun, [relative to The Show] simple baseball game. I love The Show series and its depth and detail, but this is perfect on the Switch. It isn't a graphical strain at all and you can just bang out a three inning game without it being a burden. Think more NBA Jam and being more arcade-y. Might be 5 stars but I can't do it yet. Not while my beloved Show exists.

I have only played a handful of games but I am enjoying the "light-hearted" way this game is. I am still learning how to control base running more efficiently as that is probably one of the draw backs of this game. The game allows you to play a simple game of baseball or you can turn up your ego and really get test yourself.

I'll preface this review by saying I've only played two games of this. I had fun playing with a friend, but it didn't do enough to bring me back. It was a little clunky/glitchy. The ego system is nice where you can even the playing field with more experienced players, however it was a game I could see myself playing every once in awhile but not very often. It just didn't wow me.

I'll be honest, I had very low expectations for this game and just wanted to try it with the cr3w and it has surpassed every single one of them.

Online play has been fun, the controls are (relatively) intuitive, the Super Mega league teams are well-balanced, and the different era teams which include real players include great callbacks.

The ego system of difficulty setting is a great way to balance games.(just don't let it get set too high or you won't be able to throw strikes).

Funny animations and sounds add to the experience. Highly recommend. If you are interested in joining our league, contact @nanner

While not entirely perfect, it is the best that baseball gets on the Switch!
It delivers an engaging and accessible baseball experience with its blend of arcade-style gameplay and deep simulation elements. Lots of team and player customization options and team management features. Online Crossplay!!!
Certainly worth the price of admission.

hard to give this more than a 3. the game is great, but coming from 3 where the game was smooth and silly. this game trips over itself time and again. don't even try the online modes, cause those are really hit and miss.

I played the heck out of a free demo for Super Mega Baseball 2 on Switch a few years ago and I really liked it but never bought it. This is my first purchase of Super Mega Baseball series and I got it on PS5 since I saw it was cross-play.

I love arcade style sports games and really hope to see more from different sports coming out again. The games are easy to pick up and put down with being able to stop halfway through games if need be. The Ego setting help keep the game challenging yet fun based on how good you play.

Its just an all around fun game to play. Every sports games doesn't need to be a a sweaty closest to the real thing simulation game. Also many of the games are filled with horrible micro-transactions. If you want to play a fun sports game that is laid back and good for any skill level I highly suggest this game.
