This is a must buy/ have for any Mario fan. With 3 of the best 3D Mario games included (Mario 64 Mario sunshine and Mario galaxy) you get to relive those childhood memories all over again. The upgraded graphics was a nice touch and didn’t take away from the originals. Not sure how rare or difficult it is to obtain these games separate but this is the best way to play all 3 if you don’t own them separately.
Pretty cool collection to have on the Switch, and if I remember it right, the only way to play Super Mario Sunshine aside from the Gamecube. It did sort of rub me the wrong way that there was a sort of manufactured intentional shortage of copies of this game. Also, the absence of Galaxy 2 is a bit puzzling.
Great series of games, really wish SMG2 was part of it though.
Plays pretty well on the Switch, but it's not the same as playing it on each games' original console. The graphics upgrades while still staying faithful to the game's original look was a nice touch that I appreciated as the games got upgraded to modern hardware.
The fact that you do not have dig out your other consoles to play these makes it great, and to be able to play handheld helps you be able to get more playing time in.
Three of my fav games of all time now accessible on the Switch? Yes please. While 64 could use more of a full graphical remaster than a simple HD upgrade, I suppose the DS version sort of provided that. And Galaxy in HD without the cumbersome Wii remote? That's an upgrade right there. This was a rare day 1 purchase for me.
Never played Mario 64 before this and I loved it! It def is a great game to this day. I've always loved Mario Sunshine and that's still a great game too. And I've never played Mario Galaxy so that's next but it's very fun so far!
This is probably my favorite Switch game. Super Mario 64 is incredible, ported over well. Sunshine is such an incredible game and often gets overlooked by people. Galaxy is actually my least favorite of the three, but it’s a masterpiece. Great game!
The best (64) , the hardest (sunshine), and the most beautiful ( galaxy). Nintendo loves putting out “classics” over and over, but the replay ability is unmatched.
Mario 64 is a perfect port and transition. Everything about that perfect game is right here. This set loses points with Sunshine which I still just cannot get into the FLUDD water gimmick of the game. The port/update of galaxy works better than i expected as they did really have to make some updates for the switch to work well. A really seamless transition including the handheld experience and touch screen as well as the Joy-Con use. As the great Meat Loaf said, two out of three ain't bad.
