Pew pew pew pew
I'm a star wars.
It's crazy to think that this was what we all wanted.
Oh no it's not. We all wanted to fly around on spaceships and destroy the death star.
And they captured thar well.
Such a good game
This game was amazing. I remember the first time I put it on being blown away by how beautiful it looked. Gameplay was excellent. It took everything the first one did right and made it even better. I would go back and play the mission attacking the second Death Star over and over because you could just fly around shooting down enemies until you decided to continue the story. Just endless tie fighter destruction for as long as you wanted.
Along with Wave Race: Blue Storm, this was my launch day GameCube title and it was worth every penny. Still during the peak of Star Wars prequel mania, flying these missions felt like I was part of the Rebellion itself. Controls were intuitive, camera was much improved over the N64 original, and graphics were among the best I had seen on a Nintendo console. Still on the shortlist of "favourite GameCube titles", I would recommend this to any Star Wars fan.
Played a bunch of this game. Loved the challenge it presented, was Star Wars, and you could fly all kinds of different ships. I remember looking up how to get the Millenium Falcon and things like the A Wing
