Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2019, for Stadia in November 2020, and for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S in June 2021. The story, set in the Star Wars universe five years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, follows Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who becomes a target of the Galactic Empire and is hunted throughout the galaxy by the Imperial Inquisitorius while attempting to complete his training, reconcile with his troubled past, and rebuild the fallen Jedi Order.

I picked it up from the library shortly before the pandemic shut down. I started it, then left it, thinking I had all the time in the world, so didn't play it. Once lifting of restrictions was being announced I realized I had better get on this game and I'm thrilled I did. It was incredible. The graphics, music, fight scenes, jedi scenes, etc. Using the force was awesome. And the ending? I'll just park that here...

I have tried this game a few times and I just can't get into it. I feel like I rarely run into enemies and the platforming is getting repetitive. I have gotten stuck trying to figure out where to go and I realize I could fit in this crack in a wall but can't walk through a bigger crack in another area. I don't think the controls are all that good either. It's just very slow from the start. I may give it another go at some point but I'm taking the $5 loss and removing this from my PS5 for now.

It's a solid game, can see why the sequel was so highly anticipated. I took a break for a few months to play something else so forgot most of the story which I think is stopping me from feeling quite as engaged as I usually do

As someone who has grown up with Star Wars this was a nice and refreshing story to see that isn't the main characters from movies, also the souls like elements made me actually turn my brain on so I could complete the game.

If I wanted a souls-like, I'd play dark souls. I don't, and I don't know why developers keep trying to imitate it in games that really don't need it. It was fine once I gave up and lowered the difficulty, but I don't like having my time wasted by making me replay a 5 minute stretch over and over and over because if I go kill a few enemies and backtrack to the save point, they all respawn. This would be two stars if not for the IP

It is what I was.am wanting from a Star Wars game but it is so easy to get stuck on a map not knowing where to go because you don't see a tiny crack in the wall to squeeze through. so much time wasted not knowing how to get to where you need to go.

I love this game and how it was one of the really good ones to go away form the original stories and just branch off as its own. I feel like it was really well done and I loved how good the graphics were in this game. All the missions were fun except when you would get stuck on that one little crack that was impossible to find. But really good game

This game blew me away. Graphics were awesome, locals were spot-on, control mechanics were tricky but very rewarding one you practiced. My only regret is that I can’t go back and experience it for the first time. What a ride. If you like Star Wars and have the means, I highly recommend picking it up.

Super super game. Obviously I am biased as a SW fanatic, but it really was good. Good story, saber combat, blade colors, gameplay, voice acting, etc. Really, the biggest drawbacks for me were that the customization of outfits was mainly limited to ponchos, and that the amount of backtracking on planets was a bit frustrating.

The souls-like elements were a perfect addition to this game. I loved the combat mechanics and discovering shortcuts, but the map layouts without any sort of fast travel made retracing your steps difficult. That said, getting a perfect blaster deflection is one of the most satisfying things I've done in a game!

The fifth star is for me being a flat out mark. I never got into The Force Unleashed. From the opening of this game it feels like being in Star Wars more than any other game before it has. The music, the ambience, the scenery, all makes you feel like you're in it. I ignored side quests more than I normally do in games, but that's just because of time constraints. Excited for the sequel.

Excellent game! The only reason it doesn't get 5 from me is because it lacks a reason to play it twice. Would've been nice to see a choice for going down the Dark Side. Not that I would have done it though lol.
