This is the game that every other pirate game hopes to be. Relatively simple gameplay, so it’s easy to jump into without hours of tutorials or anything. Main gameplay breaks down into sailing your ships, ship to ship combat, and then sword fighting enemy captains. You can ally with various nations and their colonies, trading goods and woo-ing governor’s daughters. If you’re really persistent you can even capture a Ship of the Line and rule the Caribbean! I would love to play this again, or see an updated version.

I LOVED this game, only reason it's getting a 4 star is because it got a bit tedious, but otherwise was a blast! Makes me want to go back and play it again...

Really enjoyed playing this game handheld!! This is the game that made me play Sids Civ games.
