Forza Horizon 5
It's everything that Horizon 4 was, but more so. This series is the top of the line for me. If you want awesome cars, fun races and a large explorable world full of stuff, this game is for you. The big benefit is you don't have to be an engineer to play.

Fallout: New Vegas
The true spiritual successor to Fallout 2. While Fallout 3 is definitely great, Obsidian's entry is more in line with the over all tone and feel of the first two. If anything, this game illustrates the tragic what-if's that arise when studio drama and corporate thinking get involved in creating art. 10/10 game and firmly seated in the top 15 of all time for me.

Metal Gear Solid
An absolute world changer in videogames. The story, the gameplay, the mechanics, everything so far ahead of its time. If there's one game that actually deserves a full 4k remaster, it's this one.

Fortnite
I've reviewed this game so many times it's become a running joke. Epic has created one of the most immersive digital ecosystems ever made. I don't even think you can call it just a game anymore. With the addition of Zero Build modes and the explosion of Creative mode games, there is literally something for everyone in Fortnite. And, unbelievably, it's still absolutely free.

Goat Simulator
I wanted to like this game so badly because it was such a cult hit, but after literally 10 minutes I uninstalled it. Maybe it just wasn't for me.

Far Cry 6
A great game in classic Far Cry style. The only issue with this game continues to be the one that always plagues FC: the balance between the serious nature of the story and the goofy, wild fun. You get out what you put into a game like this and I got an awful lot.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Revolutionary for its day. The plot was spectacular, even if it required Cliff Notes the further along you got. The typical Metal Gear twist isn't the one you're expecting. Classic Kojima in his prime make this one a can't miss.

The Legend of Dragoon
This is just another Final Fantasy clone. Nothing spectacular, and nothing really disappointing. The combat trigger controls are easier with modern controllers.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Arguably the best Star Wars game ever made. You've heard about it, you've read the reviews... If you haven't given this absolute classic a shot, you're really missing out.

No Man's Sky
Hello Games performed a modern clinic on how to address a lackluster launch with amazing continued support. The game as it stands today is nothing at all like the initial launch. The sheer breadth and scope of explorability of this game make it a comtender for all-time greats. While the story (such as it is) is intriguing, it's really not much more than a glorified tutorial. The real game begins when the story ends.

Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht
One of the best videogames ever made, in my opinion. The depth of knowledge presented here is astounding and the codes within codes make for an extremely entertaining story. Approach with caution, though : you will spend a large deal of time in this game watching unskippable cutscenes. You just have to think of it as more of a choose your own adventure movie. Worth every second invested.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
The LEGO games are probably the most underrated game series in history. The games are just SOLID. Great controls, physics and puzzles. Plus the funny takes on classic Star Wars scenes keep the atmosphere fun and engaging instead of feeling like you're dragging through the same stories for the 50th time. Must play for gamers of all ages.

Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse
This entry is where the series begins to go off the rails, but it's more like off the rains in a cartoon mine car: it's enjoyable and you're curious to see where you end up. Adding the ability to skip the cutscenes (some of you youngsters may not know it was ever NOT possible to skip cutscenes) made this one stand out in the genre at the time.
